My husband and I were looking for an officiant that we felt could tailor our wedding ceremony so it reflected us as a couple. From our first video call with Pam, we knew she was the one to do it! I came from a more religious background than my husband, and we wanted to strike a balance of incorporating some religious elements while still making the ceremony inclusive and true to both of us. Rev. Pam was so thoughtful, patient, creative, and joyful to work with as we created our wedding ceremony outline. She was super supportive in helping us write a ceremony that felt authentic and meaningful to who we are as a couple. She has the best energy, and from the moment we hired her we felt much more calm and confident that our wedding would be fantastic, and that she was going to ensure that the ceremony was really special. The ceremony was our favorite part of our wedding day, all thanks to Rev. Pam. We are so grateful to her, and would absolutely recommend her!

Pam officiated our wedding in Sep 2022 and it was a great decision. She took the time to check in with us along the way and made sure we were comfortable. Being organized and easygoing was very helpful during that time we were making all the plans. We loved having Pam officiate our wedding. We were looking for an officiant for a non-religious ceremony that still felt really personal and sentimental. From our first call with Pam, we knew she could deliver. She was so easy going and friendly and gave us great suggestions to make sure our ceremony was exactly what we had hoped for. I think everyone feels a little nervous going into their wedding ceremony, and Pam's warmth and energy made us feel at ease so that we could really be in the moment and enjoy it. Pam officiated our wedding this past weekend and we could not have asked for anyone better! Due to Covid, we didn't actually get to meet Pam until the rehearsal dinner, but we did communicate via the phone and e-mail prior. The ceremony she put together was absolutely beautiful and she worked with us to incorporate our sister doing a reading and to adjust a few parts. I would highly recommend Pam!

Pam came to the rescue when our original officiant moved out of state late in our planning process. She pulled together a ceremony plan for us quickly that perfectly met our wishes for a heartfelt non-religious ceremony. It took a few iterations to get our personal story right, but she did a great job summarizing our anecdotes and pulling them together into a seamless story with her own commentary. Where she really excelled was in the delivery, turning the ceremony into a surprise highlight of the wedding day for us. Multiple guests commented that it seemed like she had known us for years (when it was really only a couple months!).

My husband and I loved working with Pam to officiate our wedding! Rev Pam officiated our wedding in August 2021 at Cafe Brauer. She was a pastor at a parish for about 25 years and is now retired, but still does weddings. We knew we wanted to work with her because we come from Catholic families but aren’t religious - so our parents were very happy that we had a real reverend bless our marriage (not someone who just got some certificate online) and we were happy that she could create a more secular, inclusive ceremony, leaning more spiritual than religious. She sent us an initial ceremony script about 2 months before the wedding, and we were able to make as many revisions as we wanted. She was very prompt about responding to emails and super easy to work with - very friendly and lighthearted. The ceremony itself went perfectly, and our guests still talk about how moving and joyful it was. We are so happy we chose Rev Pam as our officiant!

Rev. Pam was our wedding officiant, and she was such a delight to work with. We immediately felt comfortable during our first phone call with her, and her down-to-earth personality helped us remain calm throughout the wedding planning process and our wedding day. Reverend Pam officiated our wedding ceremony last September and she was amazing to work with. She met with us and got to know us over coffee, and we could immediately tell she was a kind and caring person who wanted to make sure our ceremony went smoothly and just how we wanted it. We didn't really know where to start, but she had an outline that we discussed, adding and removing sections to our liking. Rev. Keckler is amazing to work with! I had a fusion ceremony incorporating both Hindu and Christian rituals. She was so flexible and came completely prepared for everything we wanted to do! Even the planning process was stress free as she was able to help us create a flow that worked for us. Can't recommend her enough; Rev. Keckler was truly awesome to work with.

Pam was my husband's youth minister when he was a kid, so when we were looking for an officiant for our wedding ceremony she was our top pick. She worked with us in planning the ceremony so that it reflected us as a couple, and in places where we didn't really have a vision (like vows) sent over a ton of suggestions so we could figure out what we wanted for our special day. For the ceremony, she did a beautiful job, and all the guests commented afterwards what a wonderful ceremony it was and what a good job Pam did. Couldn't recommend her enough!

My husband and I had formal wedding plans scheduled for July 2020. Rev. Pam was to be our officiant. As a result of the Covid pandemic, we decided to have a small intimate ceremony on the date we had chosen and reschedule the celebration next year in July 2021. Rev. Pam worked with us and married us in our home. She was outstanding and we had a beautiful ceremony with our children present. Rev. Pam will officiate our wedding vow renewal next July. We highly recommend Rev. Pam. She is kind, friendly and truly cares. She works hard to make your special day memorable. You will not be disappointed!

Reverand Pam was amazing! The nicest person you will ever meet. I lived with my fiancé for three years before Pam married us. She was the fourth officiant I spoke too and the only one that didn’t give me a hard time about living with my now spouse. She was very reasonable in pricing and extremely flexible. She customizes the ceremony to what you’re looking for and was such a pleasure to have officiate our wedding. I’m so happy we found her, you will not be disappointed with Pam!

Look no further! You will be so happy with Rev Pam! We had originally planned a larger wedding this past summer; but due to the pandemic, our venue cancelled. She was always quickly available by email (my preferred method) to shift to Plan B. She easily updated the contract for next summer. But then due to our insurance issues, I asked her three weeks out if she could also perform a small ceremony for us at the end of the month. With such short notice, I wasn't expecting her to say yes! She went above and beyond to help us figure out what to do next! Getting a marriage license in the pandemic was quite the endeavor (we barely got it the day before), and then figuring out where to hold the ceremony in the right county was another challenge. She was there every step offering suggestions and keeping me sane! We hadn't finalized the ceremony itself up to that point; but she has a beautiful sample to start with, and it was quick and easy to change things with her as needed. The day of the "minimony" she arrived promptly before us, and it was perfect! My family was so impressed with the "last-minute" ceremony and couldn't say enough nice things about Rev Pam! She sent in the license the same day, and it went so smoothly! Now for our second ceremony next year, I'll update then. I'm looking forward to working with her again!

Pam was amazing to work with and we could not have picked a better person to make our marriage official! Pam was extremely supportive through the entire planning process and through the replanning process due to COVID-19. There were so many changes to the location and the ceremony script, but Pam went with the flow! Pam is so genuine and I could not recommend Pam enough as your wedding officiant!

We have known Pam for ages: she confirmed me, married my brother, oversaw my Grandfather's funeral, baptized my goddaughter, and now, has been our officiant! Pam is beyond organized, genuine, timely with responses, kind, and professional. Her price point is beyond fair, and she follows through until you get your marriage certificate! Pam was great to work with. She was able to customize our ceremony to please my families catholic side, without being a ceremony centered around religion and more focused on us as a couple. We had a long aisle with 130 guest and everyone said they clearly could hear our vows and our officiant. We loved that she even came up with a way to involve our all our guest into the ceremony. She kept great communication with us and sent over drafts and let us incorporate different reading, but gave us many samples of readings/poems/scriptures that were common as well. We were fortunate enough to be referred to Rev Pam from a family friend who had recently used her. From the moment I spoke to Pam I knew she would be the perfect fit for our wedding. My husband & I chose not to be married in a church but it was important for us to have a person of God marry us to honor his family’s faith. Pam helped us coordinate a wedding ceremony that involved some spiritual religious aspects while still being modern and allowing me to include my favorite Bob Marley quote :) We worked with her remotely via email and phone which was very easy. She attended the rehearsal and ceremony for one affordable rate. It is clear she does this because she loves what she does rather than for the money like some of the other wedding reverends out there. Thank you Pam for making our day special! Highly recommend.

Rev. Pam is awesome!! She is so bubbly and outgoing, which helped liven our hot August ceremony. She customized our ceremony to fit us perfectly. It was exactly what we hoped for. I ADORE Rev Pam!!! My wedding was on 4/14/18. It's actually VERY stressful finding a decent, kind, AFFORDABLE officiant who cares about more than the final paycheck. Look around, you'll know exactly what I mean. MOST of them are RIDICULOUS, I don't need to pay someone $700 to do something that a friend can do for free!! Im serious , that's what other officiants are going for. Like...whatever happened to the vow of poverty??? Anyways I had already decided to just pay the license fee for a friend to become an officiant & marry my fiancé & I. I was REALLY stressed out bc it was 3 months before our wedding, everyone was telling me to find an officiant (or create one) asap...& nothing felt right. Every other "vendor" was hired and ready to go except for the officiant, Bc I couldn't find one who I didn't think was just super greedy. If they're rated decently on The Knot, chances are I emailed him/her. And wasn't a fan. I mean it's kind of hypocritical imo to be a Rev or Pastor or whatever, & charge a couple who just wants to get married around $700? Come on. The hypocrisy is mind-boggling. And most of them are like that. What a joke. Then I found Rev Pam. On The Knot, of all places, while doing a search for the Glenview area. She doesn't list prices, so I was initially skeptical. But for some reason I connected with her right away after only one meal...I just had a positive feeling right away. I was PRAYING she would be reasonably priced....and when she told me her cost I literally teared up with RELIEF. I knew she would be good too, I mean look at all the positive reviews here! Brides, I was in your shoes....if we take the time to review on here AFTER our wedding, it means we truly want to help you find the best. I'm BEYOND grateful that I found Rev Pam. She was NOT ONLY THE most affordable, but her ceremony was INCREDIBLE. Guests literally interrupted my post-ceremony picture shoot w family to ask where they could find Rev Pam to thank her. I had guests in the audience CRYING Bc it was such a beautiful ceremony. It was personalized, it was serious yet light at the same time....she really read my audience and tailored to them. She truly makes everything SO EASY and lovely....you really don't need to keep looking. She touched my heart with her amazing ceremony. If you're reading this...you FOUND your officiant. I'm telling you...she's amazing, she cares, she's affordable, she's just a kind, GOOD person. Call or email her so you don't have to stress about finding your officiant anymore. You found her.

Rev. Pam officiated my wedding on October 7 at Makray Memorial Golf Club. My husband and I are both very happy that we picked her to officiate. She was great to work with- very responsive and she captured exactly what we had envisioned! I thought the script she prepared was beautiful, especially a poem she had selected. She also injected some humor into the ceremony, which was great. She received so many compliments from our guests. I would definitely recommend her to others!

Pam made our wedding ceremony everything we hoped for and everything we wanted to be - from incorporating a chemical reaction demo to reading some quirky quotes, she personalized our ceremony and made it truly special. We had a wonderful experience working with her from beginning to finish. She took the initiative to write a ceremony draft when we were busy running around doing other things for the wedding. She helped to organize a quick and painless rehearsal with our parents and the bridal party the day before the wedding. She accommodated our schedule and was so easy to communicate with and work with. P.S. We are not religious and wanted a secular ceremony - what Pam did was perfect!

Rev. Pam is absolutely incredible. From the first email and phone call with her to the day of our ceremony, Pam brings a wealth of experience and professionalism that is unparallel to everyone we've previously meet. Not only did she listen she listen to our needs, but she was able to customize the ceremony in a way that fit with our expectations. Her support and guidance were invaluable throughout the process, from priming us with the script, offering alternatives, and to moderating our rehearsals, Pam was an amazing. If it were possible, I would give her 6 stars!

Rev. Pam was wonderful. We interviewed 3 other officiants, and my husband and I were so happy to have found her! During our initial meeting we ended up choosing her because we felt that she would give our wedding a lot of attention and thought, she was very reasonably priced compared to some other officiants we met with who were offering the same services. We were very happy with our ceremony and her service. My husband and I met with her the first time, and then about a month before our wedding, I met with her again to go over our ceremony. She was great to work with, and very flexible with what we wanted to include / exclude from our ceremony. She also emailed me a full script about a week or so before our wedding so we would have a chance to review it and ensure it was everything we wanted. She also mailed our marriage certificate in for us the following business day. Overall, great experience with Rev. Pam! Highly recommend.

Rev. Pam's service was so good that our family and friends were asking how long she had known us, she just got everything perfect! Rev. Pam listened to our values, and respected both what we wanted and didn't want in the ceremony. She wrote a very special ceremony, that both brought tears to our eyes and made us laugh. Rev. Pam was so nice to work with. When we first spoke with her on the phone to our first meeting she was very organized and helped us plan the perfect ceremony to fit our wedding style. She was aware of how nervous everyone can be and was able to put us at ease before the ceremony started (she even sent me a kind text letting me know the groom looked handsome :) ). The ceremony she put together was light, relaxed and even managed to make people laugh - there was even some group participation which everyone loved. She really made our day special and we appreciate all the time and energy she put into it!

Rev. Pam was absolutely the best! She does a great job of making your ceremony about you and what you would like it to be. She has a great knack for being a calming presence. At the same time she was able to take charge and run a rehearsal for a pretty big wedding party with LOTS of kids! After the wedding we had numerous guests comment on how moving and personal our ceremony was. Pam was such a great part of our wedding and made the most important part, the ceremony, the best part!
