Prior to hiring them, we considered planning our wedding ourselves, but there is no way we would have found our venue or amazing vendors without them. Furthermore, they really took the pressure off us during the months leading up to the wedding, by staying on top of everything and helping us set deadlines for specific decisions. Words cannot even describe how amazing it was to work with Jes & her team!  I met with so many flower vendors but the minute I met Jes, I knew she understood exactly what I wanted...and she took it to another level!  Her entire team is extremely responsive, super detail oriented and just overall a pleasure to work with.  I felt annoying sending countless images throughout the process but they told me to send as many as I wanted.  Knowing they were so on top of everything was so reassuring and one less thing I had to think about, I was so confident in them!  And when I finally got to see the final outcome I was blown away, and so were all of the guests.  I cannot tell you how many times I was stopped at the wedding and told how amazing the flowers and whole ambiance were....it was magical!  I would highly highly recommend Jes Gordon - it was absolutely one of the best decisions I have made and I am sad I can't just keep emailing them, they are that good!

LITERALLY THE BEST. I really didn’t want the wedding planning process to be stressful, and I knew hiring a great planning team was critical – so after getting engaged I spent a lot of time speaking to several wedding planners. The moment my mom and I met Jes and team we became SURE that is who we must go with and our gut feeling was right. They are warm, relatable, energetic and talented. We used Jes Gordon Proper Fun for the planning and décor sides of the wedding. On the décor side, they listened to what I envisioned and then delivered that x10. On the planning side, I cannot stress enough how easy and enjoyable the process was. When the JG team is at a meeting it runs smoothly. When the JG team needs something to get done it gets done. And when the JG team says that they are there to run a flawless wedding – that’s what happens. I feel so lucky to have had Jes Gordon Proper Fun involved in my wedding.

My daughter was married on December 10, 2016, having gotten engaged only 7 months before. We hired Jes Gordon after several other interviews with planners. The chemistry with Jes, Kait and Rocio was instantaneous!! The entire process was a pleasure; stress free and flawlessly executed. The names they gave us for band, makeup and photographer were excellent and we quickly developed a wonderful rapport with each one. The wedding was magical, from start to finish executed beyond our expectations!! I am usually a very critical, detail oriented person and there was nothing I would change. It was perfection. Working with Kait in particular was also very special! I cannot recommend JG more emphatically.

I knew that Jes and her team would be phenomenal from our very first meeting, as they were so warm and easy-going. Their bright energy is contagious! They listened carefully to our vision, then went above and beyond to bring our ideas to life. They were incredibly attentive to the details and had many suggestions to bring out the absolute best out of our already beautiful venue. The execution was PERFECT, beyond anything I had even imagined. We are still getting compliments on our wedding decor! I cannot recommend JG enough!

Absolute PERFECTION. Jes Gordon and her team took care of our design and production. They make you feel so calm and confident in how your wedding day will turn out. My wedding was an absolute dream only filled with happiness - no stress whatsoever. Leading up to my wedding, so many people told me to prepare for something to go wrong. Literally, not one thing went wrong having my wedding in Jes Gordon's hands. Kait Motley was a phenomenal planner - consistently calm and collected, extremely quick to respond to emails, and ran the day like an absolute pro. Rocio Riestra, in charge of decor, executed my vision perfectly. I ran over and gave her a hug immediately after seeing the room. Jes Gordon's team helps you figure out your vision if you're not quite sure what it will be going into the wedding planning process (as was the case for me), and then executes it perfectly. We couldn't be happier or recommend Jes Gordon enough. PERFECT

JG and her team did an incredible job as the floral designer for our wedding. They embraced our vision of something a bit off the beaten path in terms of weddings and ran with it to create the setting for our very special day. Every detail mattered for them to get right, and when they saw we weren't necessarily on the same page, they stopped and asked all the right questions and did everything possible to get us there, from contract drafts to samples of their planning to going to the flower market the week of with me, my husband, and my mother in tow. The chuppah they designed for us was extraordinary - organic, light, and not something I have really seen elsewhere. Every element of the design exceeded my expectations, including letting my husband hand-cut corks for our escort cards and integrating that into their design. They worked very hard to understand what I meant by sculptural flowers and vases, and came up with something I would never have been able to pull together myself that was absolutely perfect. And, most importantly of all, their energy was hugely positive and comforting. They absolutely know what they are doing, having done this hundreds of times, but allowed us to feel special about our day despite all that. We could not have been in better hands than with JG and her team!

I am in love with JG and her team!!! They truly made our wedding day something out of a fairy tale. From day one the whole team was a dream to work with - always full of energy, smiles and the willingness and excitement to create beauty and fun wherever they go. I had the utmost trust in Jes, as I have worked with her professionally, and I couldn't imagine anyone else creating our decor for us. I loved so much that while I was getting my hair and make up done, Jes came in with thoughtful advice and lots of laughs to share. When I walked into the reception room for the first time with her I couldn't believe that what she and the team had created was for us. It was so beautiful, unique and representative of US! Still to this day whenever anyone brings up our wedding they say it was the most beautiful event they had ever been to. We are eternally grateful to Jes and co for making it all happen and would recommend them to anyone looking for beauty, fun and creativity.

If I could give 10 stars for Jes Gordon and team, I would! I keep saying that aside from agreeing to marry my now husband, choosing Jes and team to plan our engagement dinner AND wedding was the best decision I've ever made! Jes and her entire team are attentive on every level, no detail too small, but also have the best energy, ever! I was able to relax and enjoy every minute of our special day because I knew we were in the best hands, and everything went off without a hitch! Beyond their exceptional execution, their creative vision is unmatched, and they also bring only the best vendors into the mix. I know I'm biased but I have been told by all of our attendees how our wedding was the best wedding people had ever been too -- it had a uniquely intimate and warm feeling even though there were over 200 people in attendance! You CAN NOT GO WRONG working with Jes Gordon and team for your special event and you will not regret it! Best in the business!

I cannot say enough about how great it was working with Jes and her team. They handled the planning of our wedding flawlessly and we were beyond pleased with the results. The flowers, the room design, everything was absolutely breathtaking. I'd work with them again in a heartbeat!

I had a very specific vision for my wedding. I wanted cherry blossoms. The Jes Gordon team wasnt sure if they could actually get them in but they did. And the were stunning. Everything I asked for the did and it blew my expectations. They were a pleasure to work with and after working with them I could never use any other Florist!

Jes and her entire team were rock stars. They handled everything from soup to nuts with ease, professionalism and humor. Couldn't have planned our wedding in 2 months without their help.
