Social media messages and emails went unanswered, leaving us with the impression that we would not receive our photos. Face-to-face at our event my wife and I asked when the photos would be ready because we wanted to give them to family as gifts for the holidays. She assured us we would receive them before Thanksgiving. We did not. The only person Tara consistently communicated with was the wedding planer. We did not receive our photos until we got a lawyer and communicated that to the wedding planner in last ditch effort before moving to litigation after the new year. Even then, the photos we received did not include extended family photos that we emphasized to her held more importance to us.  Whether it’s in Chicagoland or Southern Illinois, explore other options. We had a negative experience with her and would not recommend her.

Then, one week before the wedding, her and I were on the phone and she tried to say we would not have enough time and she tried to propose a change to the schedule, which obviously is not possible one week before a wedding. We also had a hard time with her lack of communication when we were waiting on our engagement pictures. We are happy with how our pictures look, but her lack of communication definitely added stress to the wedding planning.
