OCEAN ATLANTIC EVENT RENTALS were great to work with for my wife and I's wedding. They were super easy to work with, especially their wish-list/quote system as well as very communicative with options that were not available at the time and alternatives they could provide. They have a wide array of rental equipment, items, decoration and furniture that really helped make our day great and guests felt comfortable.
Drop off and pickup were professional and on time as per instructed.
Great prices on rentals for the Outer Banks area as well. Would very much recommend working with Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals.
Remy was awesome to work with. Very responsive and extremely helpful. Very patient with me, as I changed my order several times before finalizing it. I will definitely do business with Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals again, and will absolutely refer them to others.

Ocean Atlantic was amazing!!! I couldn't be happier with their service! From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, accommodating, and attentive to every detail. The customer service was top-notch, and Remy and the team was always available to answer our questions and make adjustments to our order, ensuring everything was perfect for our big day. They were punctual with delivery and setup, and the entire process was seamless and stress-free. I really appreciated how easy they were to work with, and how responsive they were to requests and adjustments!! The quality was amazing, and i would 10/10 recommend their team! Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals was superb! My husband and I had a big 180 person wedding at Whalehead Club and Samantha Blackwell and the whole team at Ocean Atlantic was so great during the whole process. We rented a massive 40x120 skylight tent and the setup and design and breakdown was flawless! It was cold and windy the day before the wedding and the team was out there making it happen for us. The day of, the sun came out! All the cocktail hour tables and set up under the trees was just as we had imagined and then tent was perfect for us and our guests and the band we had hired. Cannot recommend OAR events enough!

As far as the rentals they were ok. The real issue was the delivery service. When I booked tables/chairs/benches for my wedding, I was told they were unable to move anything from the truck to inside the house or to the back yard due to this specific house style. I was told they would drop everything in the driveway. When the delivery truck arrived one of the men started telling my family how they COULD have moved everything for us but I didn't want to pay the extra cash and I KNEW that I signed a contract that I didn't want them to move them. Then he offered to move the benches/tables IF we paid him in cash. Then when we went to set everything up they were missing 10 whole chairs, and two of them were broken. They were extremely annoyed when we asked them to bring more chairs. Then the second time they didn't even bring enough to replace what was missing so they had to come back a 3rd time to finally give me the original amount of chairs we needed. This company was the only stress that I had at my rehearsal dinner/wedding day. I am sure they sometimes do a great job, but this was not a great experience.

As stated in the contract, although you are paying for the use of the items on the day of your contracted event date, as a convenience to our clients, we deliver your items the day before your event and pick them up the day after your event date. This allows for unforeseen issues (high volume dates, road constructions, accidents, rare packing mistakes or breakages during transportation, etc.). It also states that it does not guarantee the use of the items before or after that date. You indicated that you used the items for your rehearsal dinner as well. Had we known in advance, it would have cost an additional day's rate, and we logistically would have planned your delivery another day earlier. Delivery staff noticed this but chose not to bring it up.
As a policy, we make decisions based on distance, ease of access, labor required, and timing on site when determining whether we can schedule equipment setup and breakdown, as we do not have the full logistics plan so far in advance. That was why, when you originally asked, we explained we could not offer that service at the rental property indicated for your event. When conducting your delivery, some of your party showed irritation and voiced their expectation for the items to be taken to the back and set up. The staff decided they were ahead of schedule and had more of them than usual at that site, so they offered a cash option.
One stack of chairs was missed during your original delivery. Once reported to us, it was delivered that same afternoon. The two chairs that broke during transport were delivered to you the morning of your event after being picked up from another site.
We appreciate your feedback and will discuss any changes necessary.
I highly recommend Ocean Atlantic! We rented a clear top wedding tent package with a dance floor for our wedding (as well as tables, chairs, linens, silverware) and everything looked BEAUTIFUL! They were very easy to work with and accommodated our timeline. Their setup and breakdown team worked efficiently and were very professional! Huge thanks to the Ocean Atlantic team :)

They did a beautiful job setting up all of the tables, dance floor, tent and other rentals we rented from them! Highly suggest using them if you need any rentals for any event! I used them for my wedding and everything was absolutely stunning!

We loved working with Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals! As planners in the industry for 17+ years we work with all vendors and rental companies in the industry. The Finer Points Coastal was the wedding planners for a couple that was married at historic Whalehead in Corolla. Samantha and Remy were wonderful to work with. They are extremely knowledgeable and responsive. Samantha went above and beyond to ensure all rentals were secured. Chad and his team were absolutely awesome to work with for delivery, tent installation, breakdown and overall rental management day of. They assisted with solutions for the tent and helped problem solve as concerns arose. We felt we were all working together as a team and the day could not be the success it was without their support and knowledge! We will continue to refer clients to Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals for future events!

Let me start off with a back story. We rented a home through a large rental company that was being built, but would done about eight months before our wedding. This house was being built as an "event home" and would include "event space" outside to host our wedding. We hired OAR for a large tent(chairs, tables, linens etc.) and they notified us they would need to measure the space to see which tent would fit in said "event space". Turns out, the builders of this new home were unable to have the "event space" so it was nixed from the plans and never notified us. (wonderful). Samantha at OAR was so informative, kind and patient. I was not the easiest person to deal with during this time as our whole wedding idea was shot down. OAR/Samantha (with the help of our wedding coordinator, Brenda) were able to deliver a tent & set the ambiance we were originally looking for, at a new venue. With our coordinators help, we were able to dial in our needs for the wedding up until just about a week out. We didn't need to rent anything that was unnecessary and all of our bases were covered. OAR is a super flexible company that excels in communication with so many moving parts. I really can't thank Samantha for her time & patience in walking me through this whole process that ended up being so far from the original plan. It worked out wonderfully and everything was beautiful.

We rented our 30x50 tent, string lights, and dance floor from here. Everything was super easy and a quick process. Everyone down to the set up team were extremely friendly. They come set up and tear down without even bothering you, it was great!!!

OAR handled all of our chair rentals, tables, and dance floor over the pool. The set up and take down was very smooth. Although we had guests staying at an event house the whole week of the wedding, there was no interference or disruption with the rentals. If you are dreaming of the pool cover rental at your venue, DO IT! It's pricey, but I couldn't have imagined our wedding without it. :)

Renting our tent, tables, chairs and linens from OAR was one of the best decisions we made. We also tacked on a catering tent, restroom trailer, stage and a tent heater as we got married in early April and knew the temps could drop into the low 50s in the evening. We worked with Samantha during the planning process and I think we upgraded our tent package at least 3 times as our headcount nearly doubled from our initial estimates. Every time I reached out to add something or confirm a design detail, Samantha was quick to respond and was very helpful during design discussions providing recommendations and additional mock-ups for me to review. Chad was in charge of my set-up crew and these guys knocked it out of the park! The weather forecast was calling for some showers Friday afternoon and we were hoping our tent would be set up in time for the rehearsal dinner in case we had to be under cover so I called OAR and was able to speak with Chad – he said they had one other drop-off in the morning, but they’d get to our venue as soon as they could to get set up. Not only did they arrive by 10AM and get going, they were pretty much done by 1:30PM and even came back to fix two corners on the dance floor and close in the fourth wall on the tent (a last-minute decision we made day of based on weather forecast). I can’t say enough good things about my experience working with the team at OAR – highly recommend!

There was some communication issues with what was available and what was included in the set up and break down. I was disappointed with the late notification of some items being backordered and unable to be used and some of the linens advertised for the cocktail tables were not floor length as advertised. Overall, the staff answered all of our questions in a timely manner and were very flexible with changing orders.
We rented a tent, chairs, tables, and linens - among other things - from Ocean Atlantic for our OBX wedding in April. Everything went off without a hitch and exceeded expectations. Everything we rented from them was high quality as well. I was very grateful that they arranged to have the tent put up a day in advance - one less thing to worry about the day of! They were very thorough during the planning process, sending me drawings of what the tent would look like, where the tables will be placed, etc. They also accommodated changes when the guest list decreased by a bit and offered us a smaller tent to help us save a little money! Overall I could not have been happier with their services and would definitely use them again!

We rented banquet tables and chairs for a small backyard marriage celebration. Placing the order was super simple. Drop-off and pick-up delivery was seamless - we didn't even need to be present. Highly recommend!

Samantha and Leah helped create an event of a lifetime! From day one of planning my wedding rentals with them, they both communicated information effortlessly, streamlined expectations clearly, and were infectiously courteous the entire time. Destination wedding planning can be challenging. Sam and Leah both articulated the importance of certain details about the specific venue chosen since it wasn't easily accessible to me, and also went above and beyond by enhancing the vision layout via a CAD drawing. The best part about that is I didn't even have to ask. They merely applied thoughtful customer service on their own and provided an impressive result in the end. Earlier in the planning process, they even sent samples of their linen choices available via mail with a fun card of congratulations attached! They both truly made me feel special and appreciated.
Chad Miller and team were also incredibly helpful onsite during set-up and tear down days by smiling and providing cheerful energy amid the humid sun. Huge shout out to Chad and all the guys who physically labor over the inventory on a daily basis.

Great service and equipment. The staff were great over the phone during planning, in person at their facility and when dropping off and picking up the equipment. An experienced company with great, straight forward policies and service.
We used Ocean Atlantic for our wedding this March. From out of state, we were able to quickly and easily communicate our needs, and all of our correspondence was prompt and professional. We rented tables, chairs, and even a punch bowl- everything was delivered and picked up on time and without incident. We would highly recommend them for your event needs!
I booked Ocean Atlantic Rentals for the beach ceremony chairs and reception chairs (with set-up and breakdown), as well as the place setting dishes and linens. Everything was seamless and super easy to book, thanks to the user-friendly website, and really friendly associates. I changed my mind a few times in the planning process and the associates were really easy to work with to make sure I was getting exactly what I'd hoped for in the end! Ocean atlantic event rentals was superb. They did my CAD drawing and site survey of the area we had a reception at with ease and much helpfulness. They had an amazing vision and I spoke to them many times throughout my planning process. They were on time when setting up and very sweet and kind. Overall experience was fabulous.

We chose Ocean Atlantic based on their prices. We had a few price discrepancy issues along the way which were worked out but I did not like the fact that I could not change anything on my order 30 days out.
We rented chairs, glasses and table from these guys and everything was perfect! Great people to work with.
Be careful! I am an event planner for my job, but these people gave me more than my share of headaches. Thinking we were all squared away, then to find out just days before that things were misordered, wrong color, etc. "Too late to change, trucks loaded" was what I was told, when I said OK bring me the wrong stuff anyways, I was told no. Lots of running in circles, and lots of people - never worked with just 1 person. Great showroom, great value, but be ready for the work...

We rented tables and chairs for the wedding and reception. They had the tables dropped off before 5pm the day before the wedding which made it nice to use for the rehearsal dinner too. Helped bring the tables in and set up instead of drop off and leave.
Rude, condescending, unhelpful office girls. Joe the guy that runs it is awesome but you only get him 10% of the time. They even charged my card for changes I told them not to make and argued to give me a refund.

We were so glad to find Ocean Atlantic Rentals. They went above and beyond for us. Chad is amazing and knew exactly what we needed for the venue we chose!
We had our wedding in the 4x4 beaches of Corolla, NC. I worked with Joe & Heather and they were extremely helpful. The prices were extremely reasonable and everything was dropped off by noon the day before our event. Because we were in the 4x4, they were unable to do any setup, but that was stated in our contract and wasn't a problem at all. The colors were perfect and everything was accounted for!
We got our rentals the day before which allowed a lot of time for set up. They were prompt, everything was in great shape, and made everything really easy to do the set up and tear-down ourselves to save some cash!
We had an out of town wedding and had never been to the house where our reception was being held until the day before the wedding. The house wasn't at all what it looked like in the picture and would never fit a tent and all of the tables we ordered. Joe and his team worked with us and helped us sort out what we would and wouldn't need. They refunded for the items we couldn't fit due to space and were so pleasant to talk to and work with! I would recommend this company to anyone getting married in OBX!
I rented my tables, chairs, wedding arch, tent and cupcake stand from OAR and everything was delivered on time, exactly what we needed/ wanted and the tent was already set up when I checked in! Perfect! Great prices, great service.
