We were in direct contact with the planner you hired to handle the logistics for this event and we feel strongly that we always had great communication and understanding with her. I believe your mention of adding “obscure charges to our bill” is in reference to our non-refundable deposit portion of the rain hold policy. This deposit was mentioned in writing on all versions of your contract as well as being listed on the price guide you were given from the venue which is why your planner understandingly paid the cancellation fee on your behalf. If there is ever an issue before/during/after the event, our clients should always call us during business hours or our 24-hour emergency line listed on your contract. We are always willing to take any and all steps needed to resolve and adapt to any situation our customers are dissatisfied with. We rented most of our supplies (plates, silverware, keg coolers, lighting, etc.) from Ocean Tents, and I was impressed that no one tried to up-sell us on anything and were always helped us find the practical options that we preferred. The set up and break-down crews were super efficient, courteous, and accommodating; we would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone!

k (lots of rentals, you can see). Before the event, I reach out to discuss logistics with Ocean tents. Not only were they willing to listen and discuss the layout but they also were able to offer suggestions and insight into the power situation as they work at the venue we were using quite often. The delivery team was also excellent to work with. As soon as they arrived, they noticed an extra noisy fan and worked to fix it immediately. When they couldn't fix it, they worked with the warehouse to send a replacement. They were proactive and made sure to hold up their end of the contract. I would HIGHLY recommend Ocean Tents in the future! Thanks for making my job a breeze!

things up to having his crew do it. The men came 3 hrs early to set up, but contract and beach allow time with us wasn't until 1pm. They were very nice about coming back. It was a little out of our budget, but well worth it. Gave us more time to do other things. Can't thank them enough for helping us out and making our day less stressful.

ecessary, like paying almost $300 to have his guys set up the chairs. He also gave great advice, and gave a discount if I paid with cash. He treated me and my fiance like we were his family, and he kept saying he thought of us like his own kids. They are a super fair company, and everything was almost perfect on our wedding day, except that for some reason only half the amount of draping was delivered. Joe was apologetic though, and refunded me appropriately.

was amazing because it was all too overwhelming for me at the time! We ended up renting the tent, tables, chairs, plates, silverware, glasses, and linens. The drawing that was laid out was perfect and looked great. The night before the wedding my husband and I stopped at Sandy Hook Chapel, to see the tent. Luckily we had done so, because we noticed that there was not enough tables! The drawing of the layout showed 15 tables, but the quote apparently only had 10 on it. I was overwhelmed, but my husband called and explained that we needed more tables. They wouldn't bring the tables without immediate payment, but the tables were delivered before the wedding and it was sorted out. After the wedding I was told we were short about 25 napkins. Overall, very easy to work with and very responsive.

oked clear, plus I thought it would just be a blah tent. The owner, Joe Sr., actually contacted me later that day when the forecast started to turn and asked if I would reconsider. He was very thoughtful since he was familiar with the venue and didn’t want an unhappy bride with guests stuck inside because of the rain. He wasn’t pushy in any way and said it was ultimately my decision. Well I decided to go ahead with it and honestly can say it was one of the best decisions I made. The guests said it added that something special to an already beautiful venue. I wish I could post a picture.
