Over the Moon Bartending

Had OTM bartend our wedding and they did a great job. They were a big help in the initial consultation, setting the scope of the wedding and their recommendations on alcohol types and amounts. Pricing was straightforward and appropriate. Day of, they were efficient and self-sufficient--always quick to pour a drink while being well stocked. All around, we were very pleased with the service.

Over the moon provided top-notch bartending services for our wedding on July 27th. Their professionalism, expertise, and knowledge made our event run seamlessly. OTM was open to all of my ideas - our signature drinks, using our bar signage, having a champagne wall, and using custom bar napkins and stir sticks - and they welcomed all of my ideas and suggestions and executed them all perfectly. The champagne wall rental was such a fun addition to cocktail hour and was so fun for our guests! They have a huge menu of signature drink ideas as well and it was so easy to work with them. The quality of service was elite. Joe made sure to check on my husband and I often during dinner and throughout our cocktail hour and brought us drinks/took our order. The bar area was kept exceptionally clean and organized, and was set up beautifully. They were attentive to guest's needs and our feedback about them was overwhelming positive! From the booking to the meetings to the final event, OTM exceeded our expectations. I can't imagine having another bartending service at such an important event!!

We just had Over the Moon bartend our Milwaukee wedding this July. They were awesome- and recommended by our venue actually! They were there with plenty of time to set up, brought great signature cocktails with them, and a bar menu they made for us. Joe was great to work with, he was very responsive whenever I had a question during the planning process. He and his manager were the ones who bartended for us, and they were super nice! They had a drink ready for me and my husband every time we walked up to the bar, and our guests loved them. My only complaint would be that we overbought quite a bit on booze and beer based on what they told us to buy (though I will say that we bought a bit extra than what they advised us to, but not by a ton). Overall, they were so easy to work with, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Good advice on quantity & variety of liquor to purchase, signature drinks to choose from, and overall advice to make a memorable wedding reception! And so easy to communicate with! Joe & Chris, our bartenders, were PERFECT for our wedding ~ our guests were commenting how great they were! Fun, funny, engaging, good pours, accommodating, knew so many names by the end of the evening. And they packed up and cleaned everything up before they left. What more could you ask for?? Over the Moon Bartending was responsive, professional, honest and truly had our best interests at heart when helping us plan our daughter's reception. We appreciated them never "up-selling" their services, often times doing the exact opposite, letting us know what we needed and honestly telling us that some of the "upgrades" we thought we wanted didn't add any value to our event (saving us $$). The day of the event they were professional, prepared, and had great energy and vibe. They managed the night seamlessly, truly adding to the overall success of the event! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They were the absolute best! We used them for our wedding. Our venue allowed us to supply our own alcohol and John did a great job guiding us through what was really important. He also did a spot on job with his calculations for how much to buy for each offering. During the wedding they executed perfectly! Honestly could not have ask for better.

We worked with John for our 10.14 wedding the Black Swan, and I can't say enough good things and him and his staff. He was such a great sounding board for us leading up to our day--we were pretty nervous as we had to bring in our own booze, but he worked with us on quantities, as well as helping us make our day personal to us. Day of, they were a well-oiled machine and my friends and family raved about their professionalism, friendliness, and great drinks (especially our signature drinks!) I would definitely recommend working with Over the Moon!

Unfortunately, we had a major schedule change the day of our wedding and John was able to help ensure our guests were taken care of and helped us fill some gaps with our alcohol supply. What EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE, DRINKS, AND PROFESSIONALISM! Thank you to John and Joe who ensured that my son and my new daughter-in-law's wedding reception felt like home. Each guest was welcomed and catered to with a smile and fun banter. It was easy breezy to work with John throughout the barentending schedule of each phase of the journey. Talk about being attentive with communication...Johnny on the spot! OTM makes getting the liquor at our local vendor down to a science. Not only did we have a beverage consultation with John before purchasing the amount of liquour, but we had an "AWESOME" (according to the liquor salesperson) purchase guide that OTM created. Like I said, easy breezy. The very best part, is that we knew we were in professional hands, and that is worth its weight in gold!

We used Over the Moon for our tent wedding in a park and they were FANTASTIC! John, one of the owners, was our contact person and worked our event. He was always easy to reach via email and was proactive in setting up the necessary meetings leading up to our big day. On the actual day, John and the other bartender were super friendly and checked in with me and my husband consistently to make sure we had drinks and were having a good time! We had a wonderful experience with Joe and Over the Moon Bartending, and I cannot recommend them enough. Any time they weren't actively serving guests, one of the bartenders would help pick up empty glasses and cans. Over the Moon is THE best bartending service out there! Giordi and I booked them for our wedding and John was our bartender and the owner. To have the owner bartend our event was impressive in itself. John helped us craft our specialty cocktails and arrange the perfect amount of alcohol needed for our event. My wedding guests couldn't stop talking about John, mainly because they were crushing, but more so that he was super sweet and provided amazing service to everyone. Nothing but positive things to say! My initial conversations were with Joe but John took the lead for our wedding. Prior to the wedding we chatted about our vibe and he gave us a rough idea of how much to buy. John and his other bartender were super kind, made everything easy, refilled our drinks without asking, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing all night. He was also willing to move from one bar to another bar after cocktail hour to better suite our needs. I highly recommend!

John and Over The Moon Bartending has the best service. The guys keep our event fun. John was also beyond helpful with prepping and planning. He shared his knowledge of how much to purchase but also was mindful with usage so we got the best bang for our buck and we’re able to return unopened items. Highly recommend. Working with John was pretty easy, and his recommendations on alcohol varieties and amounts were spot on for our wedding (we did end up having leftovers but the advantage of supplying it ourselves is we got to take home the remainder!). John was very friendly at the wedding, being super accommodating with drinks that we (the bride and groom specifically) requested, and my friends have mentioned once or twice how cool John was. We had the great fortune of having Over the Moon serve at our wedding. The clearest sign of a great vendor is the approval of other vendors. Each and every one of our other vendors (like the caterer, the venue, the day of coordinator, etc) said "oh you're working with Over the Moon? They're the BEST you're in great hands" and that was absolutely the case. John and his team were incredibly easy to work with, providing great assistance in terms of planning our event (how much and what kinds of drink to purchase). They were super relaxed and friendly, with all of our guests being very happy with the service. Never had a line either. Also super flexible with some last minute changes to our menu as well. Even the small details, like neatly packing up and going through all of the leftovers. Could not recommend Over the Moon enough, but don't take my word, just ask any of the pros who have worked with them.

Assisting with a tent wedding-at home-in a field is a logistical challenge for any vendor. No running water, no refrigeration, limited access to power - no problem! Over the Moon Bartending was 100% up for the challenge! John was of great help in our planning and the services provided day of were outstanding.

Over the Moon was one of our favorite vendors we worked with for our wedding this past weekend. From the moment we first made contact, John was attentive, responsive, knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. Having had prior experience at our venue, he was also able to provide really great insight and advice regarding what was necessary, even saving us some money by telling us certain additional things were simply not necessary for our needs. It was a pleasure to work with John, we really appreciated his expertise. You won't be disappointed working with him! The actual bartender for our event, Randy, was amazing as well. He was personable, worked hard and very thoughtful. Throughout the night he would check-in with me and my wife, making sure we had beverages or if we needed anything else that he might be able to help with. Several guests came up to us throughout the evening and in the days since remarking at how much they liked our bartender. Randy helped our entire day go off so smoothly and it was just wonderful having him there with us. Can't recommend Over the Moon enough - they've got some rockstars and it is apparent that they know what they're doing!

I don’t have enough good things to say about this small business! From the start, John was extremely communicative, reassuring, and an absolute professional. Pricing is very straightforward with no crazy hidden fees like many bar services like to sneak in! I had him bartend my wedding at the Riviera in Lake Geneva this past weekend, and he was familiar with the space and left me feeling confident he had everything under 100% control. John and his team provide everything but the alcohol. He provides an excellent consultation to help you figure out exactly how much alcohol you need to buy. This was especially useful for us being on a budget! We were going to go with a full-service bar package from another company at first, but decided to last minute make the switch to OTM and I am SO GLAD WE DID! I had guests coming up to me all night extremely impressed with the bar service. Not a SINGLE complaint all night long! Even after our wedding was over, my family was still raving about the excellent service provided. If you’re looking for the final reason to book OTM, let this be it! They totally made our wedding what it was!

Joe at Over the Moon was extremely helpful throughout the booking and planning process, and his whole team was great on our actual wedding day! Joe provided us with guidance on how much alcohol to purchase and also gladly looked over our final excel sheet/plans for alcohol quantities. My wife and I booked with them prior to Covid impacting 2020/2021 and they completely understanding of the situation and willing to pivot through our multiple wedding reschedules. Their flexibility and willingness to work for us is reason enough to book with them. Prior to the event they provided insightful coaching and advisement on how much beer, wine, alcohol to purchase and were pretty spot on with their recommendations. When it came to the day-of event, they had everything set up and ready to go prior to my arrival. If you’re looking for a full service bar staff that brings professionalism, punctuality, collaboration and FUN look no further than Over the Moon. Working with John was a delight - he was responsive, helpful and made us feel at ease while we planned our wedding in 8 months! Our wedding guests were amazed at how quickly they mixed up and served libations and beers. Even with a line after dinner, they worked through it with ease. One of the best decisions we made when wedding planning was having Over the Moon bartend. John was excellent to work with through the planning process and made everything easy and stress free. When it came to our day, Robbie and Joe absolutely KILLED it. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and got everyone their drinks quickly. We were so happy with how our batch signature drinks turned out and so was everyone else! We have heard from many people how impressed they were and I cannot thank everyone at Over The Moon enough!

Over The Moon was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! John and Joe were both incredible! They were accommodating to our unique wedding requests and willing to help us out in any way we asked. They came highly recommended to us from our venue, Plant No. 4, and they did not disappoint! John was generous enough to have multiple calls with us to go over everything in detail that we would need to know for our wedding day. He took the guess work out of it all. And was super helpful in picking our signature cocktails! About 40% of our guests didn't drink alcohol so John was kind enough to batch our signature cocktails as "virgin" drinks and add the alcohol to those that requested it. This required a lot of prep work on the part of OTM Bartending and they were happy to do it. All of our guests had a great time, and have told us how NICE the bartenders were! Every interaction we had with them was also incredible. They are great guys with an obvious passion for what they do - I would recommend them a million times over to anyone looking for a great, stress-free bartending team/experience! Thank you OTM!!

Chris and Robbie were our bartenders and they made my wedding GREAT! Since they arrived, they we're so friendly and ready to help. They were such professionals while also having fun. I was told so many times by wedding guest that they walked up to the bar and the bartenders always remembered what they were drinking. They got the drinks out quickly, so everyone could get back on the dance floor. Could not tell you enough how much I enjoyed having them as part of my wedding day.

He was so helpful with planning the details for our cocktail hour and reception. He was so knowledgeable, professional, and spoke highly of his other colleagues. Highly recommend! We had a venue where you could bring in your own alcohol. We knew we needed to hire a professional bartending company because we wanted them to be able to make any drink that was requested, wanted to make sure all was legal, and we didn't want to worry about anything other than supplying the alcohol. We are still getting compliments on how awesome the bartenders were at having people's drinks already made, since they seemed to remember what everyone was drinking. They were fun, easy to work with and brought everything that was needed outside of the alcohol. They also guided us on how much and what alcohol to get. Joe was so easy to work with, super friendly and made the entire planning process so easy and effortless. We had regular calls scheduled to go over all the details and provided us with awesome recommendations on where to buy all the alcohol we needed. Many of our guests let us know how friendly and helpful Joe and John were and how the kept the drinks flowing all night long. My husband and I never had to wait in line for drinks :) Joe was always ready with our refills. Best bartending company around! Highly recommended. Thank you so much.

We cannot say enough about Over the Moon Bartending. From the initial conversation we had with them to the wedding day, they made the entire process extremely easy. They did a phenomenal job understanding our vision, yet giving their input to help ensure the entire event ran smoothly. We worked with Joe from Over The Moon for our wedding - we cannot say enough about him or this company! Joe made the whole planning process when it came to our bar stress free by being personable, talking on the phone or emailing whenever we had questions, consulting us on how much alcohol we should buy, and making us feel confident all would go well. We enjoyed having Over the Moon Bartending serve for our wedding! John was really helpful in offering options within our budget for drink choices. We had a great variety of options for our guests within our budget! They were at our wedding venue ahead of time to set up, they premixed two signature drinks of our choice and created a drink menu! On the night of, John and his associate were great to work with! He kept checking in with us and kept us well hydrated. He also cleaned up after guests. He walked around and cleared off glasses from the tables. That was HUGE because we didn't have to do so much cleaning at the end of the night or the next day! They brought their own coolers and cleaned up the booze/wine we purchased for them to serve. It was nice not to have to worry about the small items for the day - drink ware, juices, sodas, water, keeping the booze/wine cold, cleaning, keeping the booze/wine stocked, and not having to create a menu or bring drink dispensers. It's all included in the price! The only thing we had to do was purchase the booze/wine/liquor ourselves and get it to our venue. I highly recommend working with them for your wedding or event!

John helped us out tremendously during the planning stages of our wedding in July. Incredibly knowledgeable, no BS, and really well organized. Throughout the wedding and even now a month later, we still have guests saying how great the bartenders were, particularly how friendly both John and Chelsea were and how they kept the line moving throughout the night. Over the Moon was great to work with for our wedding this past July! They were very responsive to questions and helped us plan how much alcohol we would need to purchase. We received many compliments on the bartenders from guests. We had a little over 200 people and they made sure everything went smoothly.

We were the 4th wedding ever at the new venue Plant No.4 in the 3rd ward. Not surprisingly John had already worked a wedding at the venue once prior, for the venue owners family, and knew all of the venue specifics, set ups, potential challenges, etc. John & his team were awesome in helping bring our wedding vision to life. He left no stone unturned, was extremely understanding of what we wanted, and wherever possible made it happen. For any Wisconsin wedding, he is the guy to go to...especially since you can buy the exact booze you like and want, vs typical awful open bar packages.

Over the Moon Bartending did an absolutely fantastic job at my wedding! I could not be happier with their service. They were incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating. The thing that really stood out for me was that they offered the option of bartending services and providing all the mixers, glassware and garnishing and just allowed me to provide the alcohol. Other bartending companies would not do this and wanted me to buy an alcohol package too. The bartenders were friendly and did a great job on our signature drinks. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for bartending services. The bar is arguably one of the most important aspects of the wedding and they did such a great job.

Joe and Over the Moon Bartending did such an incredible job at our wedding on Sept 3. Where even to begin?? Pretty much as soon as I started talking to bartenders I knew that Over the Moon would be the right choice, because Joe was so amiable and easy to work with - and patient in going over all the details with me and answering all my questions (and as someone who had never planned an event at this scale before, I had MANY questions)! We provided the beer, wine, and spirits, and Joe and his team took care of the rest; we planned signature cocktails with his help, and I couldn't possibly count the number of people who raved about the blackberry citrus old-fashioned. :) Over the Moon was totally professional, everything went smoothly on wedding day, and their cheerful demeanors really made the bar a hopping spot at our reception - the way it should be! We used Over the Moon for our wedding reception for 230 people and they did a fantastic job. Joe and John are extremely kind and professional. The added personal touch of his and her specialty drinks made the night fun and was a big hit with all of the guests. If you have an event requiring bartenders these guys won't let you down.

Joe and John were hilarious and fun. By the end of the night, several of our guests seemed to be their new best friends. They were also totally professional, flexible when our wedding was delayed slightly by weather, and really helpful in ensuring that we had the right amount and type of alcohol for our guests. Let's start with the excellent costumer service that started at the booking process, and followed all the way through to the day before friendly "checkin in" texts, letting me know everything was going to be Perfect for my wedding day. John and Joe and helper for the night- Charlie, were top notch and on point the day of. Professional in every sense, yet fun and laid back. Smiles, and good energy radiated from that corner of the barn. Not just because the drinks were out of this world delicious, but because John and Joe put so much more into the night than just well crafted drinks. I was very choosey when it came to my vendors, and I took an absolute chance, with Over The Moon. I wanted vendors who outstretched their traditional roles, who I really connected with on a personal level, and vendors who I felt were an extension of my close friends and family. Over The Moon blew my expectations out of the water. Over the Moon was FANTASTIC at our wedding. They created signature cocktails for my husband and I and had great names for them too! They were very professional and so fun. We had a ton of positive feedback from our guests, and were able to keep up with our 200+ wedding!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
