y were truly as delicious as we heard. And, boy were we pleasantly surprised...every time we stopped by they did not disappoint. We decided to go with whoopie pies, to go with our southern themed menu and it couldn't have been more perfect. From the ordering, to the tasting, to the delivery and the set up, it was wonderful. But, the best part about it was the TASTE! We had 3 types of whoopie pies, and not only were they adorable, but they tasted incredible too! Thank you P is for Pie for giving us a non-traditional wedding dessert to share with all of our family and friends during the biggest night of our lives. We'll be back for more!

s to taste and decide on. We went with one tier of brown butter cake with pecan filling, and two tiers of chocolate cake with chocolate ganache. We also left with armfuls of treats that we bought just because it was all so delicious. Our guests absolutely loved the cake, and our caterer came up to us at the end of the night to ask for the contact info because it was the best cake she had ever had. Also, the mini pies we got were equally delicious, but for sure the cake was the real winner at the end of the night.

with vanilla with lemon curd filling and the 2 smaller layers with chocolate with strawberry basil filling. I personally dislike cakes, but changed my mind after sampling their options. The design was exactly what we were looking for and complimented our vintage wedding style with great elegance. We also chose small bites: s'mores, blackberry lemon tart, and apple hand-pie. These were all incredible too! We worked with Nicole who was very flexible and helped to guide our choices according to our budget and get exactly what we wanted for our guests. I would highly recommend this bakery, whether you go with a dessert bar, traditional cake, or both!

Throughout the entire process, I was impressed by Tara and her team. The pies were delicious--I still get compliments on them--and my husband and I have become regulars at the shop. I would highly recommend the "Caramel Crack Pecan" flavor of hand pie. But, really, anything you order will be great. Tara sources her ingredients locally and the pies are truly impressive.

ontacted her for the tasting. It was quite the drive for us at the time to attend the tasting, but she was so flexible and sweet, and invited us into her new shop for a delightful tasting. Everything I tried was so amazing! I dreamt about her pie and pie pops all the way until my wedding day. She was one of our favorite vendors, and I would recommend Tara and P is for Pie Bake Shop to EVERYONE. She brought the pies on top and helped my coordinator set up a beautiful display. Everyone ranted and raved about all the different pies, mini pies and pie pops we had-they couldn't get enough!

P is for Pie was worth every penny! We had these for our rehearsal dinner and a regular wedding cake for the day of, but everyone raved about the pies. We definitely thought that the pies were better than our actual wedding cake. Had we not been married on a cruise ship and been able to bring on any food, she would have been our pick for the actual day. We can not thank her enough for how she made our weekend special and stress free!

You can tell she takes pride in her baking and freshness is at top of mind. These pies were so cute, beautiful and most of all delicious. You know how they say most Brides and Grooms never really get a chance to taste the food at their own Wedding…well its true, but I made sure that I hide a few of these little pies for later in the evening and I'm so happy I did. Now, I just need to find another reason to place an order with P is for Pie. Tara, thank you so much for being part of our special day by baking such delicious & beautiful desserts, can't wait to eat them again.

and although it's not on her regular menu, she turned out a really great one for our wedding. We chose 4 different kinds, all of which were a hit at the wedding! We chose full size pies, but Tara can do 6 inch or minis as well. She uses fresh, local ingredients as much as possible. I felt that we got really nice personal attention and the pies were wonderful.

As the wedding coordinator, I couldn't help but notice how much of a perfectionist this "pie lady" was... from the correspondence and coordination in the weeks leading up to the big day, all the way to the timely delivery and absolute picture perfect look of the pies on the day-of. And once I saw how popular the pies were with the guests, I made a mental note to forgo the typical groom's cake at my own wedding and serve these yummy pies instead. I got engaged in the summer of 2012 and P is for Pie was one of the first vendors I booked. Tara just makes it easy! She's always willing to tweak and personalize your order, and as someone who's been to a lot of weddings this was important to me... I wanted all of my wedding details to be unique and memorable. As a wedding planner AND as a bride, I know how important it is to pick amazing vendors you can rely on to deliver the quality they promise and you expect. In my experience as both, Tara is absolutely incapable of disappointing! Her pies are DELICIOUS and they look just as scrumptious as they taste. We even ordered extra and served them the day after the wedding when we had our out-of-town guests over. They were usch a hit (the chocolate peanut butter with sea salt is to die for). I will find every excuse in the book to use P is for Pie Bake Shop at every event I host :) and as a wedding planner, I will recommend this to any client who wants to do something a little different at her wedding and serve something unforgettably delicious to his/her guests. YUM.
