I can be a very understanding and reasonable person when it comes to services. It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review for someone, but I really felt that it was needed. When we communicated with Palmetto Aerial, our conversations were... always pleasant. Unfortunately, communication was something we had very little of. From the time I reached out, I was given a venmo to do the deposit and then heard nothing for months. As the wedding date approached, we had not signed a contract nor heard anything more about the next steps making sure we had completed everything to ensure they would be at our wedding. I constantly had to track down and ask the questions that I feel I should already have known since I am paying for their services. We had very limited communication and contact throughout the entire process with Palmetto Aerial. I honestly thought that we had been scammed out of our money. After the wedding, he had said it wouldn't take long at all since it was just the ceremony. I had reached out about three weeks after the wedding to find out how long we should expect to receive our video (had no idea how long these processes take). The message was read...but no response. I let about a month more go by and still...crickets. I tried finding phone numbers and emails and finally had to publicly post on Facebook before they reached out to me. After that conversation, I was promised it would be ready in a week. After two weeks went by and I still had heard absolutely nothing, I reached out again. Again, I can be very reasonable. If you know it won't be done, just tell me. But don't promise me and then just not give me the heads up that it won't be ready. So, I let a few days go by and then reached out. Still, heard nothing. Then, two days later I get a message to meet up. Was told to meet at 10:30 on a Friday. Went in town and waited...and waited...and waited. At 11:30 i had heard nothing and finally messaged. Again, knowing I was waiting in town and could not even send me a message to let me know he could not meet. Went home and at 3:30 still had heard nothing. When I messaged him he let me know that he was just getting the video downloaded. So, when we should have met at 10:30, it still was not even ready! We finally got it at 4:30 that afternoon. After having paid in full for the package and then having to run around for several months trying to get in contact, it was very frustrating. I figured maybe at least the video would be worth the stress and frustration. I have seen the work they've done and had high hopes for our video. This was a basic, 20 minute ceremony video that had now taken almost 3 months to complete. When we finally watched it, I was very disappointed. It was choppy in any part where there was movement and the sound was so low we had to turn it up to 100%. In the middle of the ceremony the camera starts to shake. The video does the basic thing we needed it to do, but it was not worth the $1100 we paid and the tip we gave as courtesy for doing the service for us. Our name wasn't even spelt right on the video download we received. It made me feel forgotten and made me feel lke I was not worth the time and money. It was a terrible experience and would not recommend it you are a bride/groom who has high expectations with quality and communication with this service.
