My wife and I aren’t from New Orleans so finding this beautiful place was truly a blessing. We have to give major props to the Event Specialist and one of our best friends during the wedding planning process, Karen! Karen was an absolute joy to work with, super professional, welcoming, and dearly missed. The other individual that deserves major credit is Chef Pat. The feast he cooked up was out of this world! Two months later and we still have friends talking about the food. Paradigm Gardens as a venue is such a breathtaking place. You walk in the gate and there’s plants, vegetation, tiki torches, and in the back Goats! This place is truly amazing and my wife and I are so glad that we got our wedding weekend party started at Paradigm Gardens. Booking Paradigm was the first thing we booked in New Orleans while planning our wedding and we can’t wait to see it again someday. Thank you to the whole team at Paradigm that makes this place as special as it is.

For starters, we are from out of town, and the whole process of planning and communicating was done remotely, with no in person interaction, site visits, tastings, etc. We started this process blind, with very flexible expectations, relying on communication and an innate sense of reliability and professionalism. All we knew was that we wanted somewhere pretty and intimate, and if we could reduce the number of vendors we needed to organize from across the country, all the better. Right away, Paradigm was an exceptional fit. Quick response times, extremely reasonable pricing, and a one stop shop for many of your event needs while still excelling at each service they offered. Karen is amazing to work with. She assuaged any concerns, answered all questions, and provided reliable and informed suggestions we’re glad we listened to. Our day-of coordinator Sarah was amazing, security was exceptional, the kitchen deserves their own dedicated praise so I’ll save that for now, and all that was really left for us to coordinate on the day of was quick queues with the band, officiant, and photographer. With regards to services – the ceremony and reception were basically covered down to the last detail by Paradigm, at least for our needs. Ceremony chairs, a variety of table sets for the reception, utensils, plates, drinks (available from the moment doors open I might add), floral arrangements from the garden, linens, beautiful string lighting, a stage, dance floor, rain plan tent…. Paradigm will cover all of that for you, PLUS pygmy goats! Yes, your event needs goats; they make everything better. And I would be remiss if I didn’t rave at least a little about Chef Pat and his talented team in the open kitchen. Most wedding food is best described as “alright”, but the food from this kitchen has no place being lumped in with any of that. We selected a few options we had our sights set on and let our phone call with Chef guide our hand for the remaining menu choices. They managed a high variety menu with a seasonal flare and kept absolute perfection flying off the open flame and onto the serving table with meticulous consistency, attention to quality, and timing. From the second we walked back down the aisle, our guests had delicious appetizers in hand. No hungry, impatient guests wandering and praying for a drink at our wedding – all covered, food and full bar at your fingertips faster than you can blink. With regards to the menu, It would be best described as rustic fine dining meets full flavor in the humblest, down to earth form factor, all on full display in the open kitchen. Our guests can’t stop reminding us of just how good the food, the beauty of the venue, and the overall experience were. Paradigm Gardens is truly a hidden gem. If you have a more involved vision for certain elements of your wedding, they offer so much more and the flexibility to source additional vendors, either with them or on your own. I can’t say enough; weddings are tough, but they don’t have to be, and with Paradigm you’ll want for nothing.

Again, every guest raved about the food. You can really tell that this venue and the people who work there care about every aspect of the gardens and the creatures that live there. Our budget was fairly limited, but Chef Pat over at Karibu Kitchen (Paradigm Gardens' Catering) made the most of every dollar we spent. The food and bar packages were, hands down, the best we encountered at any venue in New Orleans. We had so much fun designing our custom menu with Chef Pat, and the tasting at Tchoup yard was one of our favorite parts of the planning process. Our family and friends still tell us it was the best food they've ever had at any wedding. The team even went out of their way to make sure our bar included our favorite brand of pickle vodka shots which turned out to be one of the highlights of the night. The location in Central City was perfect. It allowed us to have our rehearsal dinner downtown, and also take our pre-ceremony pictures at Audubon Park without requiring much driving time to and from the venue. The lush garden was more than we could have asked for as a backdrop. We said our vows in a short ceremony then watched the sunset over cocktails and dinner. The jasmine was in full bloom which made for awesome photos. The goats were a big hit with our wedding guests and the outdoor kitchen acted as a sort of fiery centerpiece to the whole evening. We had a local DJ playing New Orleans bounce and spent the majority of the night on the dance floor under the string lights. Without a massive budget, we anticipated having to compromise on a lot of aspects to be able to afford a wedding in New Orleans, but we couldn’t have been more wrong. We will forever be grateful to the folks at Paradigm Gardens for giving us the wedding of our dreams.

They were honest and upfront about what the venue could offer which was important because this is NOT your traditional venue. All of our guests were so taken aback by how special and magical the setting was for our big day. It really provided the perfect bohemian, magical autumnal garden backdrop. It has everything you need and nothing you don't. They even worked with us to create an NA bar package for all of our sober guests. AND OMG THE FOOD!!!! Chef Pat and Karibu kitchen are VISIONARIES! Every single guest said it was the best wedding food they've EVER had. Cooked onsight using many ingredients from their garden, you're essentially having a farm-to-table meal! He created the most delicious vegetarian menu for us. Definitely book Paradigm if you are looking to host a sweet, intimate, magical wedding for you and your love and your closest people <3

space with natural beauty that doesn’t require extensive outside decor. The food was amazing. It was fresh and seasonal without feeling pretentious or out of reach for our pickier eaters. I had guests compliment the food for weeks after the event. It was the best food I have ever had at a wedding by a mile, and I’m not just saying that because it was my own wedding. To address our biggest concern, the threat of rain in an outdoor event space is always scary, but we had a solid rain plan with their team and were able to make last minute adjustments as the forecast threatened us all week but we got lucky in the end. Their team is also conscious of weather patterns in the city and do not schedule events during the garden’s off season. We loved having our event at Paradigm. It felt like a unique reflection of us.

When I asked her if she could arrange some bouquets for my bridesmaids, not only did she deliver but made some of the most beautiful bouquets I've ever seen. The day went off without a hitch because of her thoughtful planning and we are so grateful! The food made by Chef Pat and his team was phenomenal - we're still getting compliments a month later! The preparation, the service, the presentation, and the flavor exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere at Paradigm is that of a garden oasis that celebrates all the best that New Orleans has to offer. I could not recommend it more for your special day!

Every single person who was part of the day went above and beyond for us. Karen is a pro and helped us with all the nitty gritty details start to finish. We loved working with her. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I lost count of the number of people who told us how incredible the food was; Chef Pat and Karibu Kitchen created the perfect custom menu, and people are still talking about it. Sarah and her team greeted everyone with drinks when they first walked in, which we thought was such a nice touch. One of our guests told me at the reception, “This place is amazing; what a great idea to have the wedding here.” They made the day such a joy for us and provided a space for it to be everything we wanted without stress or a ridiculous price tag.

The family style serving also makes for such a communal, convivial space - which is exactly what we wanted. The drinks were also excellent, and their offering of wine upon entrance for all the guests was a lovely touch. And the goats! Just the icing on the cake - we got to hang out with one of them right before everyone arrived, which provided a sweet, quiet moment before the party started. The staff was wonderful and patient with us when it took a minute to escort everyone out of the venue at the end of the night (no one wanted to leave this garden paradise!). We could not have been happier with Paradigm and we HIGHLY recommend it for folks seeking a chill and beautiful outdoor venue in New Orleans!

Honestly, what made this the best decision, aside from all the wonderful statements above, was the event coordinator - Karen. From the very beginning, she worked with us as we planned our wedding from San Antonio, Texas and walked with us every step of the way. Our wedding day was on March 26th and I can honestly say it was the best day of my life! I wholeheartedly believe that it couldn't have been as magnificent as it was without Karen and Paradigm Gardens. You will not regret the decision of planning your special day here! This place is filled with so much love and warmth; it's the perfect location to starting a marriage off in the right direction.

I had no outside help planning my wedding and I had no idea what I was supposed to do, but the event staff at Paradigm helped me through ever step of the way without ever making me feel like my non-traditional touches were out of place. The food was AMAZING, the crafted drinks were fabulous, and the place looked beautiful. To top it off, the day of staff was on point from set up to break down. We had a lot of unique touches, and the staff helped incorporate all of them seamlessly. I couldn't recommend this venue more. And while it may not be cheap, it's very affordable! Like I said, we did a good bit with the space, but you could do absolutely nothing and have a beautiful event. It's been 6 months, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful and well run our venue was (and how great the food was. Honestly, it was the best food I have ever had at an event). If you're looking for an intimate outdoor space in NOLA, it doesn't get better than Paradigm.

We felt like most venues had us picking a little from Column A or B and Paradigm stood out for NOT having this. On the night before and day of, Bruna was our go-to girl for keeping us on track! She was gentle in guiding us through the steps of our wedding reception, and making sure our ceremony went off without a hitch! Overall the staff at Paradigm is incredible. If you want a small, intimate wedding...this is the place to do it!!

Children were running and playing, couples took advantage of the little hideaways, and they just created a wonderful overall experience. The team here has just been all the way A++. This place is a definitely must if you are looking for a unique wedding experience that won’t break the bank.

husband and I got married at Paradigm in November 2018. Throughout the planning stage, Karen was thorough, incredibly kind, and willing to answer requests about the tiniest details. The space is completely magical -- you're surrounded by plants, flowers, the flickering light of the torches, the breeze, the smell from the woodfire oven. One of the things I loved most about the venue is how interactive it is for guests. People can wander through the garden, sitting and chatting at any of the little hideaway spots woven throughout, pet the goats, watch the chef cooking, or just enjoy the night sky. It feels completely out of the norm of most standard venues, in the best way. Finally the food and cocktails were absolutely spot-on. We opted for roast beef, BBQ shrimp, tomato pie, and salad, and all of it was insanely flavorful, seasonal, and cooked perfectly. I'm so grateful to everyone at Paradigm. This is a truly beautiful and special venue.

Paradigm is a beautiful garden space and needs almost no extra decor (a big plus when sticking to a budget!). We even had guests tell us they wanted to have their own events at Paradigm in the future. We opted to rent tents due to a threat of rain. I was concerned that the tents would take away from the beauty of the garden, but it didn't take away from the atmosphere at all! Joel and the staff re-strung the lights to drape beneath the tent and it turned out beautifully. The staff was so kind and easy to work with. They even coordinated setup with our cake vendor taking that added stress off of us. I honestly cannot say anything but positive things about the entire experience. Our day went perfectly!

On the prep and pre-party logistics side of things, Karen was warm, thorough, and easy to work with. She was a caring guide through the process, and gave great advice, which all turned out to be dead on. The food, cooked by their events chef Patrick, was amazing, and many of my guests told me it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. (You'll have to ask about the coffee-rubbed pork loin!) Jim, the co-owner and the day-of coordinator, thought of every small detail, helped us get everything set up beforehand and kept things running smoothly throughout the night - no small task, but he made it all seem effortless. Paradigm is a very special place, with a group of very special people behind it. If you plan an event with them, it will not be a cookie-cutter, cliche party: for example, the garden will look different depending on what is in bloom; the ingredients in your food and in your cocktails will depend on what is fresh from the garden. And you will have a support staff that do not feel like "staff", but like collaborators, and that atmosphere will bleed into your event, making your guests feel relaxed and happy, like they have lucked into something very unique. Which they have. We could not recommend Paradigm more!

The venue itself is absolutely stunning. We visited a few times earlier in the year and were concerned about how “green” it would be in the middle of summer, but it was SO colorful and vibrant. They brought in plants to add to the lushness of the garden and to spruce up the areas for our pictures. They truly went above and beyond to make it look picture perfect from the moment you walk up to the door. The food was hands down the best food I’ve had at a wedding. Every single guest I chatted with commented on how tasty they food was too! The drinks were also top notch. My guests and I really enjoyed the presentation of the food and drinks, as the staff put on a show and told us what we were picking. The overall experience of having our wedding at the garden was 10/10. Paradigm Gardens = G.O.A.T.
