Look no further than Paradigm Gardens for the unforgettable, joyful, vibrant, delicious and thoughtful wedding or celebration that you've always imagined! We had always admired the space for its lush, colorful, genuine energy, but we had no idea how special and personal the experience would be when we reached out to inquire about having our wedding in the garden.
Starting at the beginning, Karen was so available and personable which made it possible for us to talk through our needs and hopes and find a solution that would work for our budget and vison. From that point, we felt extremely supported throughout the year leading up to our wedding with prompt answers whenever we had questions, phone calls to discuss any idea we had to see how we could make it work in the garden, and a menu tasting that was so much fun and SO delicious! One major point to any prospective couple, the food is SPECTACULAR! Made on the outdoor grill and brick oven, the culinary experience is a feast for every sense and seriously something our guests (and we) are still talking about!
With rain in the forecast as our wedding approached, Karen and Sarah made sure every detail was thought of to ease our nerves, and we had a perfect rain plan that was stunning and perfect! The Paradigm team thinks of every detail so that you can create the day of your dreams. The garden flowers and foliage were just divine, the layout was thought out perfectly for our group size, the food was prepared and served without us having to think about a thing and we could just soak in our amazing family and friends, and the love and joy around us! The staff were such a delight and so kind and helpful throughout the evening! We had an absolute BLAST and will remember every second of the perfect day to start our next chapter together. Paradigm is the best decision we made aside from marrying each other!
Paradigm Gardens was the perfect wedding venue! The garden is absolutely magical, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the ambiance. Karen, our coordinator, was incredible—she was so organized and went above and beyond to create beautiful decor, even on a budget. The food was phenomenal, and the chef wowed us with an amazing bonus seasonal dish that was such a thoughtful touch.
The team was also so helpful when it was threatening to rain. They gave us great options to ensure our day would still be amazing, and thankfully, it turned into a beautiful night. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend Paradigm Gardens to anyone!

Paradigm is an amazing place! It felt very intimate when we were exchanging vows. When it come to day of, they make everything so easy and stress free. The food was incredible. Our friends and family were raving about it! Karen is seriously the best. She answered all of our questions, constantly emailed us updates, and even walked us through the set up and breakdown. The staff were incredible. They made sure the groom and I ate. The bartenders were fantastic. We don’t drink so they were ready to make us mock-tails.
Our 100 person wedding at Paradigm Gardens in April of 2024 was perfect. For starters, their Private Events Director Karen is unparalleled. Communication was clear and consistent from the very beginning, and we never felt like they were trying to upsell us. As two more laid-back brides, she made sure we didn't overlook any important details.
If your food is the most important aspect of your wedding, stop reading this and call Paradigm Gardens to book now. Our budget was fairly limited, but Chef Pat over at Karibu Kitchen (Paradigm Gardens' Catering) made the most of every dollar we spent. The food and bar packages were, hands down, the best we encountered at any venue in New Orleans. We had so much fun designing our custom menu with Chef Pat, and the tasting at Tchoup yard was one of our favorite parts of the planning process. Our family and friends still tell us it was the best food they've ever had at any wedding. The team even went out of their way to make sure our bar included our favorite brand of pickle vodka shots which turned out to be one of the highlights of the night.
The location in Central City was perfect. It allowed us to have our rehearsal dinner downtown, and also take our pre-ceremony pictures at Audubon Park without requiring much driving time to and from the venue. The lush garden was more than we could have asked for as a backdrop. We said our vows in a short ceremony then watched the sunset over cocktails and dinner. The jasmine was in full bloom which made for awesome photos. The goats were a big hit with our wedding guests and the outdoor kitchen acted as a sort of fiery centerpiece to the whole evening. We had a local DJ playing New Orleans bounce and spent the majority of the night on the dance floor under the string lights. Without a massive budget, we anticipated having to compromise on a lot of aspects to be able to afford a wedding in New Orleans, but we couldn’t have been more wrong. We will forever be grateful to the folks at Paradigm Gardens for giving us the wedding of our dreams.
Get you a vendor that takes care of everything! I feel like it not only saved me money but made for a minimally stressful day. Paradigm was so beautiful and took care of food, drinks, linens, dance floor, chairs, and even had a backup rain tent option that was reassuring. The staff was so fun and helpful the night of. Planning the menu with Karen and the chef was so fun and the food was amazing and unique! It was the perfect casual fun wedding. Oh yeah, and GOATS!!

We can't recommend Paradigm Gardens enough!! It is a magical little place. We were looking for an intimate outdoor venue, easy logistics, and great food - and Paradigm Gardens checked all of those boxes. Karen and the team made planning super easy. We got married at Paradigm in April 2023, from the day we booked until our wedding, the staff was outstanding, responsive, and helpful beyond our wildest expectations. The tasting and menu creation felt very personal and considerate of our needs and dietary restrictions. The day of coordination was smooth and our guests consistently mentioned that the venue feels like a movie, because it was so beautiful. A perfect spring wedding spot easily held 75 guests with room to spare. Paradigm was there through every step of the planning process and helped us create the day that we really wanted. Can't recommend this space highly enough. If I could get married there again next weekend I would!

Paradigm was the perfect spot for our casual hippie dream wedding. The lush oasis tucked away right outside the CBD really feels like a secret garden- complete with baby goats and all. Karen and Sarah were so easy to work with, and guided our decisions all along the way. They were honest and upfront about what the venue could offer which was important because this is NOT your traditional venue. All of our guests were so taken aback by how special and magical the setting was for our big day. It really provided the perfect bohemian, magical autumnal garden backdrop. It has everything you need and nothing you don't. They even worked with us to create an NA bar package for all of our sober guests. AND OMG THE FOOD!!!! Chef Pat and Karibu kitchen are VISIONARIES! Every single guest said it was the best wedding food they've EVER had. Cooked onsight using many ingredients from their garden, you're essentially having a farm-to-table meal! He created the most delicious vegetarian menu for us. Definitely book Paradigm if you are looking to host a sweet, intimate, magical wedding for you and your love and your closest people <3

We had an amazing experience working with Paradigm Gardens. They have a highly communicative team and were great throughout our planning process. The gardens are a lovely intimate space with natural beauty that doesn’t require extensive outside decor. The food was amazing. It was fresh and seasonal without feeling pretentious or out of reach for our pickier eaters. I had guests compliment the food for weeks after the event. It was the best food I have ever had at a wedding by a mile, and I’m not just saying that because it was my own wedding. To address our biggest concern, the threat of rain in an outdoor event space is always scary, but we had a solid rain plan with their team and were able to make last minute adjustments as the forecast threatened us all week but we got lucky in the end. Their team is also conscious of weather patterns in the city and do not schedule events during the garden’s off season. We loved having our event at Paradigm. It felt like a unique reflection of us.

I don't know where to begin to compliment the Paradigm Gardens team! Our wedding exceeded all of our expectations - beginning from the thoughtful small details all the way to the high-level planning and execution by the whole team. Karen was communicative from the beginning, providing thorough responses to our many questions. She was always transparent and direct, making planning so efficient and smooth! Sarah, who was our day-of coordinator from Paradigm, was so responsive and receptive to all of our suggestions. She made the whole day run so smoothly and thought of literally everything - we were so impressed. When I asked her if she could arrange some bouquets for my bridesmaids, not only did she deliver but made some of the most beautiful bouquets I've ever seen. The day went off without a hitch because of her thoughtful planning and we are so grateful! The food made by Chef Pat and his team was phenomenal - we're still getting compliments a month later! The preparation, the service, the presentation, and the flavor exceeded all expectations. My husband and I had our wedding reception at Paradigm last month, and we could not have been happier. From start to finish, they were completely wonderful and exactly what we were looking for. When we started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted something a little different and a place that could give us a relaxed and easy-going afternoon. Paradigm nailed it. Every single person who was part of the day went above and beyond for us. Karen is a pro and helped us with all the nitty gritty details start to finish. We loved working with her. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I lost count of the number of people who told us how incredible the food was; Chef Pat and Karibu Kitchen created the perfect custom menu, and people are still talking about it. Sarah and her team greeted everyone with drinks when they first walked in, which we thought was such a nice touch. One of our guests told me at the reception, “This place is amazing; what a great idea to have the wedding here.” They made the day such a joy for us and provided a space for it to be everything we wanted without stress or a ridiculous price tag.

Paradigm was like a dream come true for our wedding venue. When we toured it for the first time, we were so impressed with all that they do for the community, and with the refreshing honesty about how much they care about supporting and protecting their staff. We knew immediately that we wanted to book them for our wedding venue, and they were amazing the whole way through! They were incredibly patient with us when we had some logistical snafus, and really helped walk us through the rain plan and figuring out all the little last steps for the big day. Perhaps most importantly, the food was absolutely INCREDIBLE - almost every guest later told us that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The family style serving also makes for such a communal, convivial space - which is exactly what we wanted. The drinks were also excellent, and their offering of wine upon entrance for all the guests was a lovely touch. And the goats! Just the icing on the cake - we got to hang out with one of them right before everyone arrived, which provided a sweet, quiet moment before the party started. The staff was wonderful and patient with us when it took a minute to escort everyone out of the venue at the end of the night (no one wanted to leave this garden paradise!). We could not have been happier with Paradigm and we HIGHLY recommend it for folks seeking a chill and beautiful outdoor venue in New Orleans!

If you're looking for a venue, look no further. Paradigm Gardens was -- HANDS DOWN -- our favorite decision regarding our wedding. The venue was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous!!! The food was phenomenal (and everyone still raves about it -- I still DREAM about the goat cheese grits lol) and the goats were so freakin' adorable!
Honestly, what made this the best decision, aside from all the wonderful statements above, was the event coordinator - Karen. From the very beginning, she worked with us as we planned our wedding from San Antonio, Texas and walked with us every step of the way. Our wedding day was on March 26th and I can honestly say it was the best day of my life! I wholeheartedly believe that it couldn't have been as magnificent as it was without Karen and Paradigm Gardens. You will not regret the decision of planning your special day here! This place is filled with so much love and warmth; it's the perfect location to starting a marriage off in the right direction.

Paradigm takes the craziness of planning a wedding and made it EASY and JOYFUL. The aesthetic is totally built in and fabulous, allowing us to minimize outside vendors and maximize the charm and secret-garden-vibe that it had already. The in-house Chef is incredible, can make literally anything, and the setting with he wood fired stove is just so special and unique. Cannot say enough wonderful things about their staff, so proactive, thoughtful and upbeat... we are so lucky we found and used them. Highly recommend.

This venue is amazing. It's in a busy-ish area, but they've done an excellent job of ensuring a private, intimate space. Aside from the gorgeous and lush garden ambiance (even in November), the staff was incredibly helpful. I had no outside help planning my wedding and I had no idea what I was supposed to do, but the event staff at Paradigm helped me through ever step of the way without ever making me feel like my non-traditional touches were out of place. The food was AMAZING, the crafted drinks were fabulous, and the place looked beautiful. To top it off, the day of staff was on point from set up to break down. We had a lot of unique touches, and the staff helped incorporate all of them seamlessly. I couldn't recommend this venue more.
And while it may not be cheap, it's very affordable! Like I said, we did a good bit with the space, but you could do absolutely nothing and have a beautiful event. It's been 6 months, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful and well run our venue was (and how great the food was. Honestly, it was the best food I have ever had at an event). If you're looking for an intimate outdoor space in NOLA, it doesn't get better than Paradigm.
Paradigm is the PERFECT outdoor venue - beautiful, unique, and no fuss. Karen and Bruna are an absolute joy to work with. They are laid back and friendly but highly organized and make even the most stressful situations a breeze. Paradigm is good people all around, and I can't recommend them enough for weddings or any kind of event!
If you want a quaint, personalized, romantic, amazing wedding reception, Paradigm is the place to do it!
We worked with Karen in the beginning to plan everything. Even as Covid ramped up, she still responded promptly and kept us updated with any changes. Karen was professional and helped us build our dream event!
Pat is a phenomenal chef! If you LOVE food as much as we do, you will not be disappointed working with him to build your event menu. He literally customized each item to our likings and tweaked things based on our recommendations. Our menu was so US! And that's not something many venues can offer. We felt like most venues had us picking a little from Column A or B and Paradigm stood out for NOT having this.
On the night before and day of, Bruna was our go-to girl for keeping us on track! She was gentle in guiding us through the steps of our wedding reception, and making sure our ceremony went off without a hitch!
Overall the staff at Paradigm is incredible. If you want a small, intimate wedding...this is the place to do it!!

First, we us the most beautiful weather you could have ever imagined. But most importantly, Karen and the team were absolutely amazing the entire planning process. They brought together the wedding of our dreams. All of the guest raved about the food, and about the garden. It was so beautiful and inviting. Children were running and playing, couples took advantage of the little hideaways, and they just created a wonderful overall experience. The team here has just been all the way A++.

It's really impossible to convey how lovely and unique (and affordable!) this venue is, but they should be absolutely swarmed with requests for weddings if there's any justice. My husband and I got married at Paradigm in November 2018. Throughout the planning stage, Karen was thorough, incredibly kind, and willing to answer requests about the tiniest details.
The space is completely magical -- you're surrounded by plants, flowers, the flickering light of the torches, the breeze, the smell from the woodfire oven. One of the things I loved most about the venue is how interactive it is for guests. People can wander through the garden, sitting and chatting at any of the little hideaway spots woven throughout, pet the goats, watch the chef cooking, or just enjoy the night sky. It feels completely out of the norm of most standard venues, in the best way. Finally the food and cocktails were absolutely spot-on. We opted for roast beef, BBQ shrimp, tomato pie, and salad, and all of it was insanely flavorful, seasonal, and cooked perfectly.
I'm so grateful to everyone at Paradigm. This is a truly beautiful and special venue.
We had our wedding reception at Paradigm Gardens in March 2019. The reception was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. The food was delicious and unique (many of our guests agreed it was the best wedding food they had ever had), and the DJ that Karen recommended to us (DJ Matty) was a hit. Paradigm is a beautiful garden space and needs almost no extra decor (a big plus when sticking to a budget!). We even had guests tell us they wanted to have their own events at Paradigm in the future. We opted to rent tents due to a threat of rain. I was concerned that the tents would take away from the beauty of the garden, but it didn't take away from the atmosphere at all! Joel and the staff re-strung the lights to drape beneath the tent and it turned out beautifully. The staff was so kind and easy to work with. They even coordinated setup with our cake vendor taking that added stress off of us. I honestly cannot say anything but positive things about the entire experience. Our day went perfectly!
We had our wedding reception at Paradigm with a full dinner in October 2018. There's no way that a short online review can convey how incredible Karen, Jim, and everyone at Paradigm are, but I'll try. It was a perfect night, beyond all of my expectations for how it might go. The garden is beautiful; benches and picnic tables spread throughout the space make it comfortable, while stand-up cocktail tables lend themselves to mingling. An on-site kitchen with a wood-fired oven means that your food comes out fresh. And there are goats!! Once we visited Paradigm, there was no way we could go anywhere else. On the prep and pre-party logistics side of things, Karen was warm, thorough, and easy to work with. She was a caring guide through the process, and gave great advice, which all turned out to be dead on. The food, cooked by their events chef Patrick, was amazing, and many of my guests told me it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. (You'll have to ask about the coffee-rubbed pork loin!) Jim, the co-owner and the day-of coordinator, thought of every small detail, helped us get everything set up beforehand and kept things running smoothly throughout the night - no small task, but he made it all seem effortless. Paradigm is a very special place, with a group of very special people behind it. If you plan an event with them, it will not be a cookie-cutter, cliche party: for example, the garden will look different depending on what is in bloom; the ingredients in your food and in your cocktails will depend on what is fresh from the garden. And you will have a support staff that do not feel like "staff", but like collaborators, and that atmosphere will bleed into your event, making your guests feel relaxed and happy, like they have lucked into something very unique. Which they have. We could not recommend Paradigm more!
My wife and I got married at the garden on July 14, 2018. Let me just say that from the very first interaction with them, it has been nothing but easy. Karen listened to every single detail I gave her and she made sure to check for understanding of my vision. She was prompt and flexible. I could not have pulled our wedding together without her support. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. We visited a few times earlier in the year and were concerned about how “green” it would be in the middle of summer, but it was SO colorful and vibrant. They brought in plants to add to the lushness of the garden and to spruce up the areas for our pictures. They truly went above and beyond to make it look picture perfect from the moment you walk up to the door. The food was hands down the best food I’ve had at a wedding. Every single guest I chatted with commented on how tasty they food was too! The drinks were also top notch. My guests and I really enjoyed the presentation of the food and drinks, as the staff put on a show and told us what we were picking. The overall experience of having our wedding at the garden was 10/10. Paradigm Gardens = G.O.A.T.
