The Park Point Beach House was our dream location. We were THRILLED to be able to reserve it for our day. We had the wedding on the back patio and the evening was so beautiful, we even had our dance outside. Beautiful setting, ample space, d...

My groom and I wanted a unique place to have our wedding. We love Duluth and visit often each year. We fell in love with the Park Point Beach House because it was right on the lake and allowed us to do many things ourselves. Cheryl was wonde...
rful to work with and answered all questions we had. We had the ceremony on the back patio and the reception inside the beach house. We got so many compliments on the location and couldn't be happier with this venue.

ance outside but it was too windy. You can bring in your own caterer which was great. The atmosphere was relaxed, natural, and fun.

Park point beach house was an ideal wedding venue for us. Not only did we get to get married outside, on the beach in front of the beautiful lake, but it was cheap, provided chairs/tables, already had some decor up, and allowed us to bring in o...
ur own caterer and alcohol. The down sides to using this facility is that you are required to get wedding insurance of a certain amount and they want you to clean up (like clean the public restrooms) after the wedding-you can pay a fee to not do this and we did since it was worth it. You can get an alcohol permit and bring in your own alcohol, which makes it a lot cheaper but you have to have an officer if there are minors at the wedding. The space itself is very large and accommodates about 150 people. They provide chairs and tables and decorations on the dance side. There is also a bar with an ice machine, fridge, freezer etc. to use. Since it is a public place and is open to the public until 5pm, they have some annoying limitations on when you can set up the decorations even (even though they would be in the way). All in all it worked well for what we were going for and fit our personality and budget well.
