This venue is gorgeous, easy to make your own, lots of open space, and affordable. The venue itself gets a 10/10 in my book. However, the reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because of the staff you have to deal with for this venue. The women in t...he parks office are extremely strict in their rules and very rude. Before we booked the venue, I called to ask about coming to see the space with our officiant who lived out of town. When I gave the women in the office the two options that she could travel in to see the space they told me that they only allow you to see the venue on the few specific dates during the year that they allow people to come tour the space. They were not willing to accommodate or make an exception. So she didn’t get to see it in person with us. The Friday the week before my wedding I called the office because I had questions about set up and getting the keys. The woman in the office told me she would give me a call Monday to discuss set up. Even though I had her on the phone, she refused to talk to me before Monday. I asked if we could schedule a time for Monday bc I’m a working mom of 3 and I can’t always get to my phone when people call and she said no I just needed to be available. Monday comes, and of course I missed the call. She leaves me a voicemail yelling at me, telling me how urgent it is that I give her a call back and how I should have been available. When I give her a call back she goes over her check list with me for picking up the keys and set up. I said ok, and then I tried to ask her about clean up and returning the keys and yet again she said she won’t answer my questions. That she only discusses clean up questions on fridays. Seriously? Lol. I have you on the phone, why can’t you be a human and just have a conversation with me? But whatever. So Friday I go to pick up the keys and she gives me the very aggressive checklist when it comes to rules and clean up. So the venue when you arrive has every single table they own set up with chairs. So unless you want the space completely covered with tables and no room for a dance floor, be prepared to take a lot of tables and chairs down. And they want you to put it all back exactly the way they had it that night right after your reception. Including carrying all the trash in the trash cans to the dumpster. So I just told my whole family they needed to stick around after to help clean up. Well at 10pm during my reception, my mother got a call that my grandpa who isn’t doing well, took a turn for the worst. So my family who was planning to help clean up left to go be with him. The tables and chairs were organized but not put back the exact way they were when we found it. I knew the lady in the office was going to lose her shit and just figured we would lose our 500 security deposit. (Which is ridiculous considering the venue was very clean when we left). Monday comes around and as expected she called me SCREAMING at me. Said that she didn’t how we could leave the place in such disarray and how I was so incompetent that I couldn’t follow her instructions. I told her what happened with my grandfather and that we did the best we could by ourselves with 3 little kids with us. And that $500 from our security deposit should be more than enough money for people to put the tables and chairs back the way she likes it. Our wedding was gorgeous and everything we wanted, however I would never book this venue again due to the staff.
