While the space is really cool and ended up being beautiful, I found the staff at Peached Social House the most difficult to work with out of all of my wedding vendors. There was a staff change after we had signed our contract. It was incredibly difficult to get into contact with the person that had taken over. When we finally did get in contact with them, emails were very touch and go and they would take multiple days to respond. As the wedding approached, we had set up a phone meeting to go over the details, and they had actually forgotten about it and I had to call them and email them to get them to call me back and proceed with the meeting. Many things that were discussed before the wedding were not communicated well with the staff that was working the wedding. They would not let us into the venue to set up until 3:30 even though the wedding began at 5:00. They assured us that they would begin setting up when we got there. When we arrived, nothing had been done. My family and wedding party ended up setting up the chairs ourselves, and barely got all of our decorating done in time. When it came time to flip the space for the reception, the seating chart that we had sent was not followed. Yet again, we ended up having to set up the tables and chairs ourselves. We had asked for the seats with cushion for our elderly guests and they were not put out for our reception even though it was notated on the seating chart. We had brought up our guests with food allergies many times before and on the day of, we told them where they were seated to make sure that they got the correct plates. They ended up serving all of them the wrong plates and my sister had to stop them before they had a chance to eat to send the food back and get the correct plates. The draft from the ac made the dripless candles drip onto the tables. We were going to scrape the wax off with a credit card but, they told us not to worry about it and then scraped it off with knives and damaged the tables, and then charged us for it. Unless you have a very strong day of coordinator, I wouldn't recommend booking here because it added so much unnecessary stress.
I cannot say enough good things about Peached Social House as a wedding venue. I selected them fairly close to my wedding date when I was having second thoughts about the original venue and am so glad that I did. I worked with Ashley throughout the entire planning process and she was so patient with me while I asked 1001 questions. Ashley was also onsite for the day of and between her and my coordinator, I had not a worry in the world, everything was just handled. The venue itself is simple and modern which is exactly what I was looking for. They had all the tables, chairs, etc and the fact that catering was also in house was a huge added bonus. Speaking of the food, I still have people say it was the best wedding food they had every had. Period. The outside patio was a hit and during dessert we had the s'mores station out there which was so nice on a cool November evening. The entire staff was polite and delightful, especially shout out to the bartenders who were just lovely. I was a little worried about the location and how it would shoot in photos but it was perfect, we got kick-ass sunset photos right in the parking lot. I had about 90 guests who attended and the wedding which did not feel too crowded, it felt intimate and we were able to keep the guests in decently close proximity which can be a challenge in a larger space. I said at the beginning that I do not have enough good things to say about this place but I will leave you with just one more: book this venue for you wedding. Just do it, you won't regret it.
We loved our special day at Peached Social House. Ashley our wedding coordinator was the perfect combo of being super efficient and fun!!! She made me feel at ease during entire process!
PSH is a unique venue with amazing catering. We loved it so much and are super thankful!!
We had our wedding at Peached Social House and it was a blast! The venue was perfect for our wedding of about 60 guests. It was easy to work with their team (even through some staff changes) who were friendly and organized through the whole process. The food was incredible (especially the Korean braised short ribs!) and the service staff did an excellent job. They also do catering off-site so if your wedding is too large for the venue or the converted industrial space isn't your style we would still recommend trying out their catering!
We had our wedding reception at the Peached Social House and it was amazing! The food and drinks by the Peached Tortilla were sooo good that people are still talking about it and trying to recreate it at home a couple months later. We had about 35 guests in total and the venue was the perfect size - not too big, not too small, but you could definitely fit more people in there. They made everything so easy for us Lora and her team made sure we had everything we needed/wanted and I’m so glad that we chose Peached Social House as our reception venue!
I am so glad we got married at Peached! Every single detail was perfect, from the space to the food to the service--we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We so enjoyed working with Lora throughout the planning process (and Alisha and the rest of the team on the rehearsal and day-of), and got actual compliments from our guests about how awesome the staff (especially the bartender) was. The food from Peached Tortilla was PHENOMENAL. My mother was so in love with the ahi tuna poke that she refused to even put it down for pictures, and that was only the appetizers! Truly, everything about Peached and the services they provided was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience.
Peached Social House made our dream wedding come to life! If you're looking for a modern loft space with an intimate feel, then this is perfect! Lora is an incredible venue manager and made everything so much easier for us. I was incredibly anxious about planning such as large event, but her expertise and event planning skills put me at ease. The event staff were very professional and polite as well. They flipped the space from ceremony to reception in half the time that we allotted, so we actually managed to become ahead of schedule on the day! All of our guests were very impressed with the look of the venue itself and the staff. The outdoor patio was also completed before our wedding, and provided even more space for our guests. I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience at Peached Social House.
Best private event space in Austin, hands down! We hosted our rehearsal dinner in Austin at this venue, and it was absolutely perfect. The food is amazing, the price is super reasonable and the space is the perfect size for an event with 30-40 people. We were also extremely impressed with the friendliness of the staff: from the first time my fiancee and I drove by and the caterers offered us a tour of the kitchen, to hosting private samplings for our menu and delivering an amazing experience the night of our rehearsal dinner. The brisket grilled cheese appetizer was one of the best things we have ever eaten! We got so many compliments from our family and friends that attended the rehearsal dinner in Austin at Peached Social House on the quality and offering of the food. Also great to be able to utilize furniture the space has onsite and provide your own decor. Any bridge and groom should check out Peached Social House as a wedding venue option, and look into Peached for their catering needs! A++
I hosted a rehearsal dinner for my son and his bride at Peached Social House. The venue was just the right size to allow lots of mingling during our cocktail hour and dinner. The layout is great with a separate upstairs seating area for pictures or conversation. The venue has all its own tableware, tables, and chairs. Choose the cobalt blue dishes! They look great on the dark wood tables. A complete kitchen is attached and the food is delish! Every single appetizer they make is great; don't miss the brisket grilled cheese. Entrees and sides were fabulous and we chose to have them served family style. The servers were smooth and professional. They allowed us lots of leeway to decorate with photos, flowers, decor that we brought in. The event coordinator Lora Null is calming, knowledgeable, and so helpful. She even gave me recommendations, directions, and answered my phone calls during her days off. This place is a gem!
I can not say enough good things about Peached Social House and Peached Tortilla Catering. My (now) husband and I were on a seriously tight budget for our wedding, and from beginning to end Lora (the event coordinator) worked hand-in-hand with us to ensure that not only did we have a spectacular event, but came in well within our budget for venue and catering. As a nervous bride and novice event planner, Lora and her team were extremely patient in helping me plan the wedding of my dreams and offered their expertise at all the right times to make sure that the event was special for us and our guests. On event day, I was able to hide out in the bridal suite to get ready while they took care of--literally everything. My hairdresser even noted how calm I was, and I told her, "It's because I know everything is in good hands." From the minute we arrived to the moment we waved our final goodbyes, Lora and her team had everything under control, and went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were having a good time (and always had a drink in our hands!). I would recommend this venue and caterer to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind wedding in Austin. Our daytime wedding had a uniquely modern backdrop, was absolutely flooded with natural light for great photos, and had more than enough room for our 75+ guests. The food was top notch. Service was 5 stars. I only wish I had an excuse to hold another event here soon!
