By the way, their contract states all changes must be submitted in writing, but it’s clearly something they just put in the contract because they have to and don’t actually adhere to it. The first instance, we asked them for bartending services for 6 hours, which was the max listed in our contract. They said they “no longer do 6 hours” and would not honor our signed contractual agreement. Also double check your final invoice and compare it against your original quote. Although the amount wasn’t much, the price for coffee service had mysteriously changed and when I asked about it they said they had changed the price for that service, but would honor what they originally quoted – made me feel like they were doing me a favor by sticking to what we had originally agreed to. I couldn’t believe they were just going to change the price and hope I didn’t notice since they had never communicated it to us prior. You can still get great good for your event, but I would warn you to be prepared for these types of issues if you choose them.

They were so passionate and so excited about cooking for us and every single thing they made was amazing. The Peculiar team handled all of our needs from the bar at cocktail hour until the cakes at the end of the night! The hardest part of working with them was trying to choose between all of their yummy choices! We couldn't have picked anyone better to make our night so special!!
