When looking for caterers in Sonoma county I found several that looked good, but when I saw some of Pegi's sample menu's I knew that I wanted to try her out. We didn't opt for tradition wedding food. We wanted our wedding to have a back yard ...BBQ feel to it. Good food, good wine and friends & family.
When we went to our tasting it was perfect from the Cheese Torte that was in a heart shape to the fresh green salad with homemade Balsamic dressing. We also had the Marinated & Grilled Tri Tip, Traditional Potato Salad, and Garden Vegetables roasted with Olive Oil & Herbs for the entrée. I really liked that she helped us plan the timing of things like when we should have the first dance and when to cut the cake.
On our wedding day her and her crew were on time. They set up everything up in a timely manner. Everything looked amazing. The food was great! Our guests loved it!!! We had a buffet style meal but the servers would help with opening the bottles of wine that we provided and keeping the place settings neat by refolding or replacing napkins when guests stepped away. Pegi was there to help guide us through the day. She even boxed up the top layer of our wedding cake so we could freeze it for our first anniversary. After the wedding her and her staff cleaned up and gave my family the left overs to enjoy.
Pegi's prices were very fair. She knew we were on a tight budget and managed to get us the meal we wanted with out sacrificing quality or quantity.
I would highly recommend her to anyone having a wedding or any other catered event!
