Shannon was amazing to work with. She was very responsive, helpful and went out of her way to make my day special. I can’t thank her enough. A big shout out to the Pelican Lakes staff too! They were amazing and did so much for us on the day of our wedding. I highly recommend this venue and Shannon.

Pelican Lakes was beautiful and the staff was excellent! Shannon, the wedding coordinator, was AMAZING!! She was so organized throughout all of the planning stages. I was not worried about anything on our wedding day... A Bride's dream!

100% dream come true! Shannon was attentive to detail from when we were shopping for a venue, through the night of the wedding. She always was available for phone calls and questions, and responsive when we needed to make a last minute change. We did not have to stress or worry about timelines because Shannon and her staff were on top of it! The food was absolutely amazing! The service staff made sure we (bride and groom) had appetizers and drinks during pictures and cocktail hour. At the end of the night, they were helpful in the cleanup and gathering of decorations. Our ceremony and reception was on the very well kept and island. The beach front provided a place for little ones to play, and amazing sunset pictures.

We had our wedding on July 22, 2017 and I must say it was everything we dreamed of! Shannon, Director of Sales and Events was AMAZING! Shannon made sure that everything was perfect on our wedding day, she even helped with the decorations! Even before the wedding, I knew our wedding was going to the best day of our life because Shannon would respond to my emails in less than 10 mins. Her and her colleagues are amazing. Not to mention, this venue is so reasonable in price and TO DIE FOR!

I have nothing but great things to say about pelican lakes and Shannon! My wedding day was absolutely perfect and Shannon was a huge help from thr moment we booked! She was tinely and always helped with anything I needed. The venue is gorgeous and thr food and service was great. I would highly recommend this venue for any wedding, or any event for that matter! We had our wedding June 24 2017 and I could not have asked for anything better than this place! This place was an absolute dream come true! It is affordable, trusting, great food, and just an over all great place. Shannon is amazing to work with and I recommended her to everyone. She can really make the wedding what you want for the price you want. There are three different places to get married on the golf course and we went with the island. We got 12 hours of rental time on the island, plus drinks, food, rehearsal dinner, dance floor, fans, lights, everything for a reasonable price. The entire price of the wedding was about a third of the price every where else was charging, and everywhere else was giving you half of the stuff that Pelican Lakes provides. The island is beautiful and everyone who works there is just fantastic. I got a horse and carriage, island, boat, sparklers, everything I could have ever dreamed of for such a great price and it was all beautiful! I have people still tell me that this venue is amazing and the best wedding they have been to yet. And Shannon really takes care of you. She helps make a billing plan so you have time to pay off the wedding, she made sure I ate which was huge, and she is right there every step of the way. I HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone!

PERFECT! What an awesome venue, a great staff, and of course a great golf course. But, our wedding day was perfect, thanks to the help of Shannon, Lorna and the team. We decided on The Island to host our special day, and we couldn't have dreamed of a better venue. You have the water, the pelicans, the beach, and plenty of space to have a huge party. We had about 145 guests and it was very comfortable! My wife and I both worked at golf courses, and we know they aren't typically known for the food. But, we just loved the BBQ brisket and pulled pork. I also couldn't get enough of the smoked salmons. Mmmmm. I only know one person who was married here before us, and that also makes it really special. If I were you, put down the deposit, and make it your official wedding venue because you won't regret it one ounce.

Shannon is a delight to work with, and everything went so smoothly. The island is such fun, and everyone thought it was so pretty - we have some great photos already from friends and family. We were lucky to have a breeze on a hot July day, and we had a lovely, magical day.

We had our wedding and reception there at the end of May and could not have been more pleased! Pros: - Wedding coordinator to help with the preparation and day of things at the venue, plus Taylor is AMAZING - They do the venue for ceremony and reception and all the setup so you don't have to worry about tables, chairs, and linens, it is included in the price. - Food and drinks were great, we had so many compliments so it is a double bonus that you don't have to find a vendor and worry about whether they will be on time and if the food is good. I would suggest their margaritas too. - The island is beautiful for a single location ceremony and reception. Cons: - A little pricey, but considering the little worry and that everything went smoothly, it's worth the cost.

We recently got married on the Island at Pelican Lakes. It was truly the best day of my life. The staff made sure that our every need was met and the food was fantastic! The tent is simply breathtaking and we got to capture the best Colorado sunset over the lakes. I would recommend Pelican Lakes to any bride that wants to have a beautiful Colorado wedding.
