tiny thing I didn’t like, it was the fact that the kitchen staff poured the champagne for the toast way too early. I was still getting ready in the bridal room when I saw them doing it. We had our ceremony there (which was beautiful!), and by the time everyone came in for the reception, the champagne was lukewarm. It wasn’t a big deal because people didn’t really realize - I believe; but I thought I should mention about it because I personally like my champagne cold. Other than that, everything went nice and smooth and I definitely recommend PennOaks! It was such a magical day for us.

for guests with disabilities and older guests. Also, had our puppy in our wedding and they were wonderful with him. Made him feel just as welcome as we were. We worked with ONE person throughout the entire process. Carina Hernandez was our coordinator and did an AMAZING job. Lisa was our banquet manager the night of our event and was available and kind and willing to change and alter ANYTHING we needed. Even provided a little bite to eat for our pup. HIGHlY recommended!!!

She made the process so easy and not stressful at all. We even decided to add fireworks only a couple of days prior and it wasn't a problem at all. On the day of the wedding, everything was set up impeccably and the day flowed perfectly. They went above and beyond and this wedding was anything and everything we could have hoped for. date was 7/22/17 but on June 7th I was in a horrible car accident and it was going to take many of surgeries and a lot of rehab for me to be able to walk down the aisle. The week of my accident I called Carina and let her know what happened and asked about changing my date. The next day the called me back and told me whatever date I wanted I could have as long as it was still available. So, instead of 7/22/17 we got married on 10/6/17 and it was hands down the best day of my life. They made sure every little detail was worked out and I didn't have to worry about a thing! I was a amazing day and I can not thank them enough for all that they did for me and my husband! Thank you!

was gorgeous! The cocktail hour was amazing on the patio, and the ball room was perfect and spacious fitting 165 people very comfortably! Our guest keep talking about how amazing the food was, and how beautiful the wedding turned out! We couldn't have done it without Dawn! She was AMAZING, she was so easy to work with, with her organization, she was so on top of everything. For the entire year of planning she was always there to answer our questions and make sure our special day would be everything we imagined! The entire day went so smoothly, Dawn was there early in the morning to let us get ready in the bridal suite! She took the time to make sure all of our special details were exactly what we wanted. She also took my husband and I on the golf cart to bring us to the best spots for pictures. The entire staff was extremely nice and helped to make our wedding day the best day of our lives! The owner is the friendliest guy who honestly wants you to be 100% happy with your wedding - and we totally were! looked beautiful, the cocktail hour and food was amazing and the space overall worked so well, even for our large wedding of 220 people. We also had our ceremony on site and the outdoor gazebo space was so nice. Then our guests only had to take a few steps to the patio where we hosted our cocktail hour. It was all so convenient! Knowing that our family and friends love to dance, we opted to have the band and dance floor on the patio so there was more space for dancing. This setup worked perfectly and the dance floor was packed all night! We are still hearing from our guests how much fun they had at our wedding and this is all thanks to the team at Penn Oaks. We would highly recommend Penn Oaks for any formal functions!

reception. Our coordinator Dawn and the owner Steve went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Not every wedding venue made us feel welcomed or relaxed. They treated us like family from the moment we walked in and continued to treat us like family throughout our wedding journey. I knew I wouldn’t get this personal attention and service at any other venue. I have food allergies and my father is handicapped. Penn Oaks worked hard to make both issues a non-issue. The day of our wedding everything went absolutely perfect. I tend to be a perfectionist so it takes a lot for me to say something was perfect. Nothing went wrong thanks to the attention to detail of Dawn and the Penn Oaks staff. The tent sparkled for our nighttime wedding and cocktail hour. Every photo looked amazing with those lights. We had a seamless transition from ceremony to cocktail hour. Cocktail hour was phenomenal due to the food, drinks, and atmosphere. We upgraded to the Freddy’s station which was a huge crowd pleasure. We had the most compliments for that station! We are huge Freddy’s fans so it made our wedding uniquely “us”! After cocktail hour ended, our guests only had to walk into the ball room for dinner and dancing. It was extremely convenient to have everything in one venue. Dinner was delicious and the portions were very generous. Lisa, our banquet manager, made sure everything ran smoothly. We had zero complaints from our guests, only numerous compliments. We had the perfect wedding thanks to the entire staff from Penn Oaks. It was the right choice for us and I know it will be the right choice for you.

We were able to save food stations until the end of the night too that way guests could have late night munchies. The wedding party and I got ready in the bridal suite, which was huge and comfortably fit all of us and the beauticians. We were checked up on all day to make sure we didn't need anything. They really came through for us at the last minute when we saw the weather was going to be bad, and we were able to get a shuttle arranged the day before the wedding. Also, the day of, they decided to valet park the cars since the road was a little icy and it was cold. Overall, this was the most beautiful wedding I could have ever asked for, and working with Penn Oaks was very stress free. I could not have imagined a more perfect venue for my December wedding!

She kept us organized throughout the whole process , always responded to emails in a timely manner, and the day of the wedding she kept my whole bridal party organized and had us start as soon as our final bus arrived! she even sewed the button on one of the groommens jacket back on before the cermoney and when our card box wasn't working she allowed us to use the box from penn oaks. We also worked with Lisa and Sarah throughout the night who were also wonderful and helpful! Later on we even found out that due to strong winds , penn oaks was actually running on a back up generator ! haha and nobody even knew ! my wedding was perfect because of Penn Oaks!!! If you are planning an outdoor ceremony there are great views of the golf club all around. I wanted our ceremony to be outside and unfortunately we had rain all day but the staff was so accommodating in trying to wait until the last minute to set up outside and when they couldn't, they made the covered patio just as beautiful as outside would have been, probably even more so with all of the soft up-lighting they provide, so you will definitely be covered either way! The food there is great, I have had many family and friends tell me how much they enjoyed all of the appetizers, food stations and their dinners and that they just couldn't believe how good everything was! Penn Oaks gives you a ton of food options and there packages include so much it is unbelievable! I would whole-heartedly recommend Penn Oaks to anyone getting married, they are kind, courteous, efficient and they are all genuinely happy that you picked them to share your special day with! I can't say enough good things about them and how happy I am that I picked them and I hope you do too!

On the day of the wedding Penn Oaks' staff were so nice, welcoming and tended to our every need. No need to worry about the food either. Our guests made sure to express how tasty the food was! Our family is accustomed to Caribbean food and during our food tasting we asked the chef if they could add jerk seasoning to our plates and needless to say it was a hit!!! What I love is that Penn Oaks went out their way to make sure the food was how we wanted it to be! During cocktail hour the food would not stop coming!!! The bartenders were super nice and to top off the amazing night my husband surprised me with fireworks! Our guests kept telling us how and I quote, "It was best wedding they've been to!!!". The stress leading up to it was worth it due to the end result! I'm so happy we picked this venue and honestly wish we could re-live it again <3 Please make an appointment to visit Penn Oaks!! The grounds are beautiful (perfect for photos!!!!) and the reception hall is gorgeous! Definitely a day you will never forget!!!!

She was very kind, helpful, responsive, and professional. We had a 5-month engagement, and Jeanette helped make sure everything got done. The night of the wedding Lisa was there to help, and she was also very friendly and helpful. The food at our tasting was so good, it was hard to pick just 2 entrees, but we ended up choosing the Chicken Meditteranean and the Stuffed Flounder, both of which were delicious! Our cocktail hour, though my husband and I only attended for a short time, was great, and everyone raved about all of the food! Thank you Penn Oaks for helping us create the wedding of our dreams! The staff on the day of our wedding did a beautiful job setting up our reception area beautifully. The decorations we brought were all displayed nicely. The best part is that she also speaks Spanish, which made it so much easier when I brought my mother to see the place. The Food was AMAZING! I think it tasted better the day of the wedding than the day we had our tasting menu. They were very accommodating and again incredible helpful.

When it came time to drop off our final check and decorations, our schedules didn't match with Carina's. She graciously swapped her work schedule that day with another coordinator so we could drop the check off later. She even made herself available so I could stop by and test out centerpieces one weekend when she was busy with another event going on at the club. On the actual wedding day, everything went so smoothly. Carina and the staff set up all the centerpieces and decorations just as I had wanted them. The food was so delicious and abundant. I had several friends and family members say it was some of the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Additionally, the service provided by the staff and banquet manager was excellent. After the wedding was over, they packaged all our decorations and even let us come pick them up the next morning so we didn't have to take them back to the hotel that night. I could go on and on about how great Penn Oaks is. We got so much value for what we paid. (Oh, and if you have your wedding in the winter (like we did), they have an insurance policy that makes your wedding FREE if it snows 6 inches or more on the day of your wedding. That was honestly the selling point for us since all the other venues we toured said we were SOL if it snowed on the wedding day.) My husband and I cannot speak any more highly of Penn Oaks and Carina! We will be recommending it to anyone planning any kind of event!

any country club venue. Boy, was I ever so wrong. By listening to the advice of one of my close relatives, I got over myself and made the appointment, with absolutely no expectations. When we met Dawn and saw the facilities it was love at first sight. The banquet room was gorgeous, it had afire place and the 90 degree angle of windows, which gave it that personal feel (not conference room like), the tent was amazing with chandeliers and drapery (not a pitched up tent, like at other venues), the tent was built on right off of the banquet room and then there was the ceremony space, right off the tent (a perfect flow) a beautiful outside with so many flowers and a gazebo! The venue was so perfect, if it rained (which it did not) I would be OK with having the ceremony in the tent space, that says a lot when I refused to get married inside. Now that is the venue! Lets get to the staff, our coordinator was Dawn. She was amazing to work with and helped me with all the little details and all the steps. I work full/all the time and planning a wedding should be really stressful. Dawn made me feel at ease and was always there to remind me of my next steps. So much so that I had everything I needed (guestbook, place cards, wedding favors etc.) dropped off to her the Wednesday before our big day. She even checked my champagne flutes and anything glass to make sure there were no cracks or damages! I can't thank her enough. And now for the wedding day its self! I was able to drop of everything (dress, shoes, etc.) before getting my hair done so everything was ready when I arrived. When I arrived, was I ever so lucky, Dawn and Lisa were both there to make sure my whole day ran smoothly and it did. All timing was perfect so that we still could enjoy our evening, even Lisa sat us down and made us eat (from what I hear most brides do not get to enjoy that luxury)! It was the most beautiful day. Now, lastly the guests, unless no one is telling me, I have had only great things said from the ceremony, food and reception. We have been married just over a month and family and friends still are raving me and complimenting me that I could not have picked a better venue. And now to all the brides to be, most importantly to me was cost, my husband and I had some help, but most of the cost was on us. I wanted the mansion venue, where I would have had to provide everything, tables, chairs linens!!! Penn Oaks, included all the food all the drinks, cake and centerpieces and most importantly came with Dawn!, if anything Penn Oaks needs to raise their prices for all that is included!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to everyone at Penn Oaks! Ladies, please do not do what I did and ignore this venue! Take a chance, I did and would not change a think about our wedding day!

She catered to my many requests, and didn't bat an eye when I brought in boxes and boxes of decorations just a few days before the event! The day of the wedding couldn't have gone more smoothly- the back patio was opened for cocktail hour and dancing, the food was delicious, and we got to dance the night away under the tent versus constantly worrying whether or not everything was taken care of.
