When I found John and Perfect Harmony, he got back to me right away (which is so refreshing when planning a wedding!). We organized a phone meeting and he was so kind, down to earth, and we knew we could trust him to make our day perfect! He made it SO easy for us to send him songs we wanted, was incredibly patient with my scatter-brained wedding planning self, understood exactly the type of vibe we wanted, chose the most beautiful uplighting for our venue, and when we met him on the day of our wedding it was like we were reunited with an old friend!!!! We worked with John leading up to our 5/21/22 wedding and he was super easy and laid back to work with. His planning app was super helpful for us to be able to plan out our aisle songs, a cocktail hour playlist, our special moment songs, a dinn...
er playlist, and a reception playlist. We ended up working with Saeed for our wedding day and had a meeting beforehand to make sure we were on the same page based on all of the information we put in the app. I told Saeed to keep it nice and upbeat for cocktail hour and he nailed it. Then for dinner music, I asked to gradually get more upbeat to get people ready to dance - again, he nailed it. And by the time we got to the open dance floor, it was packed and guests were ready to move! He kept the party going all night with dance hits for our diverse crowd - there was a little something for everyone to enjoy!
Unfortunately I had to take one star away from the review because there were a few mistakes throughout the day that were a little disappointing. The aisle song for our wedding party was not correctly played, along with the song for my husband’s entrance. Later, for our first dance song, we had requested Perfect (duet) by Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé, where we specifically noted that we wanted to hear Beyoncé, but he cut our first dance so short that we barely even finished the first verse and never got to hear Beyoncé. Again, for the father daughter dance, this was cut very short and it felt super abrupt - I wished my dad and I had more time for our dance. And for the mother son dance, the wrong song was played and that threw off my husband and mother in law for their special moment.
Overall, these little mistakes didn’t ruin our day, but they were still disappointing. And he did nail the reception dancing, which was arguably more important, so I’d recommend them for a fun night of dancing!

Entertained 700 Middle Schoolers and had them all on the floor, jumping around, dancing, singing. Their ability to read the crowd and work this age group was IMPRESSIVE!

DJ Mike from Perfect Harmony was a total rockstar DJ! When you hire a DJ, you never know what you might get, but Mike brought experience, liveliness, and fun to every moment of our event. We had a long pre-event consultation where we talked to ...
Mike about what we were looking for and he knocked it out of the park. Everything went off without a hitch. Mike played all our must play hits and mixed in a few songs that we forgot about that exactly matched our wedding vibe. He kept the crowd energy up all night, and everybody wished we could keep going after the venue kicked us out!
John the owner was originally supposed to do our wedding, but Mike was a late swap in about two months out. The transition was totally seamless and John personally called me to make sure we were okay with it before making any change. John is definitely the most personable and responsive vendor you could work with. We always felt in the loop. We had to move our wedding back due to COVID, and John made it so low stress and easy. You would have thought that the new date was written in from the start.
We also used Perfect Harmony for our photo booth. Guests loved it and we had a lot of fun looking through the reels together the night after the wedding. It was another easy and low stress add-on because John and company always had everything under control.
You should have 100% confidence booking Perfect Harmony for your event!

This was a second marriage for both of us. We were looking for a needle in a haystack for a DJ. We found it with John.
DJ and Photo Booth attendant - John and his daughter were incredible to us. We were nervous trying to select our DJ. This was the most important vendor in our mind. They could make it or break it for the event. We were looking for someone closer to our age - John is. We wanted a DJ that listened to us - John did. John was professional and kept things going for us. We put a twist on Kim’s entrance walking down the aisle. What John put together was fantastic. (Traditional entrance music; break in with record scratching noise; restart music to doo wah Diddy). He got glares and stares from our guests, thinking he screwed up when the record scratching sound started. Amazing fun way to start the wedding! John was kind, professional and also helped us make decisions for the day!
The photo booth was a hit. At least in our opinion. Almost all of our guests took a turn going through. The props were plentiful and clean. Thanks to John’s daughter (sorry, we can’t recall or find her name :( ) for keeping it organized and helping with our great day!
Perfect Harmony might have been a little higher in cost, compared to some DJ’s out there. It was not expensive. You get what you pay for. We have no complaints with our DJ selection.

The guests had so much and so did my husband and I. My husband is not a dancer, but he was on the dance floor all night! Initially we had them booked until 10pm, however, we asked them to extend the DJ service another hour. They never hesitated and were willing to stay as long as we needed them to stay. John at Perfect Harmony was an absolutely amazing wedding DJ. He was knowledgeable, responsive, and professional in the lead up to the wedding, and did a fantastic job at the event itself. Not to mention, he's just a genuinely nice guy.

all that goes into wedding planning, we decided to leave the dance songs largely up to John, and he completely nailed the playlist. He read the guests perfectly and always seemed to have the perfect song next at hand. In fact, I had multiple guests tell me how much they loved our playlist, even though we didn't select any of the dance songs ourselves.
We also ended up switching the dance floor from inside the venue to outside at the very last minute (literally the day of the wedding) for COVID precaution reasons, and John handled the switch expertly. Finally, from a technical standpoint, everything went off without a hitch, including the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner, which were all in different parts of the venue. John had the right equipment to cover all of these bases.
In short, I can't recommend John highly enough.
DJ John Sawyers was great! He listened to our ideas and wishes and then personalized the experience for us. He provided exactly everything we had desired and requested. I highly recommend Perfect Harmony Entertainment for your musical needs!

special day. I am a massive music guy and frankly the DJ aspect of wedding preparation was one of my personal major interests. I would hire John & Sheila again for any event of mine. They took my selections for music, added in a few of their own and everyone enjoyed the night. The introductions and announcements throughout the night were perfect. When they say they will stay until you are ready to stop, they truly mean it. They happily DJ’ed until well after midnight. They also go above and beyond in everything they do - from helping dry dishes when a passing thunderstorm blew in quickly to providing cueing during the ceremony (as we did not have a wedding planner) - they can do it all. They even sent us an album with copies of all the photos our guests took on the Photobooth in e-format and print and even made the sweetest recap video for us. 100% recommendation based off our experience.

l when it came to the music so none of our guests could request songs. I did eventually let my brother have his at the end of the night - and it was NOT kid friendly (Ginuine's "Pony"). John was great. By the time the bouquet toss was supposed to happen, the majority of the guests had already left and I was just sitting down to eat. He very politely and discreetly asked if the toss was still happening, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately I did not get to dance a lot at my own wedding! We didn't want a DJ that was going to pull focus, and John was perfect. There were only a few moments where it seemed like we were off script. My husband's favorite song is "Old Time Rock n Roll" so we listed it as a must play for him. He was outside when it came on, so I had to go run out and grab him. That intro is so iconic, that I wish my husband had been there for the whole song. We aren't 100% sure, but we think a guest request slipped into the night while we were taking pictures. If it meant our guests were having fun dancing it's fine, but we did specify that we were not allowing guest requests. But again - we aren't positive it happened. The last song of the night was supposed to be just my husband and I. My daughter sneaked in, but so did a couple other guests. I had also said that I wanted an announcement about no drinks on the dance floor, but it didn't seem to be enforced. However no one got hurt or had any clothing messed up. I think we just didn't communicate that particular request well enough to both the venue and John. Overall we are very happy with the music and the MC service. My advice for future brides is to let your DJ handle the music. I felt like unfortunately the music we picked ourselves wasn't the best.

The photo booth was a free-standing machine in front of a glittery backdrop and a table full of props, so it’s beautiful in addition to being a fun activity. It was perfect for guests who needed a break from dancing—my great aunt loved it! We also appreciated that they had cute little signs that say things like, “I’m here for the bridesmaids” and “team groom” but none of the ones I hate like, “run!” And “game over.” The machine printed strips for each person in the shot (even when there were 6 or 7 people) and we got a flash drive with all of the pictures after the wedding.
We also had a cabaret during our cocktail hour and Perfect Harmony was very helpful in figuring out amplification and timing.
We found everyone at Perfect Harmony to be friendly and responsive. Would recommend!

an outdoor ceremony with no electrical outlets nearby - John rented a generator. He must have rented a nice one because it was so quiet, it could not be heard and he placed it out of sight.
Perfect Harmony Entertainment's biggest strength is playing the right music to get everyone dancing (including guests of ours in their 80s!). I think it's really important to have music played that makes everyone want to dance, and John had practically all of our guests on the dance floor, having a blast. John also did an excellent job of MCing the event - introducing the bridal party, the cake cutting, the sparkler sendoff, etc.
John arrived early to ensure set-up was complete well before the wedding began, and he was practically the last person to leave. His biggest priority was making sure we were happy with his services, and we were extremely happy. John was responsible for keeping everything on track and on schedule throughout the reception and that he did a really good job of working with us to make sure everything ran smoothly.
HIGHLY recommend Perfect Harmony Entertainment! They were fantastic at our wedding and the price was more than reasonable.

I loved the ability to have everything in one bucket. Most of the other vendors offered DJ and Ceremony, but NOT Up-Lighting and a Photo Booth. Having everything lumped in together not only saved me money, but gave me peace of mind knowing that everything would be coming at once.
He did a great job keeping the flow to our timeline, as well as reading the crowd to ensure everyone was on their feet and dancing. At the end of the night, he announced the last song - after that song ended everyone at my wedding started chanting "one more song" like it was a concert; that is how much everyone was loving the music selections.
I 100% back Perfect Harmony, and I can guarantee that you will have excellent services provided to you if you go with this vendor. Thanks again John, couldn't have asked for a better DJ/MC.
