Our accommodations were comfortable and a convenient walking distance to the Marienplatz where we dined, shopped and drank often (not always in that order)! It's not easy wrangling a large group like that especially when there were staggered arrivals and everyone has different interests. Everyone found something great to do in the itinerary and everyone was very well fed!

We ended up deciding on a trip to Bali that, despite the long flight (about 20 hours total one way), was truly the greatest, most unique, and luxurious vacation of our lives! Before leaving on our trip, Sue made sure to send us vouchers with details for our different accommodations and activities and a detailed itinerary. Now, the trip itself… Sue planned us a truly extravagant adventure across the country of Bali for our honeymoon. We started in one of the top resort hotels in one of the main cities, Seminyak, then traveled north to Ubud, and back south to Sanur. Sue made sure our accommodations only got nicer and more luxurious as the trip progressed. The final resort in Sanur included a private two story honeymoon villa, complete with a private butler and pool. We were blown away by the graciousness and kindness of literally all the staff at every resort. Sue arranged private transportation for all of our excursions and Oka, our great travel guide, accompanied us on all of our trips, telling us all about Balinese culture and suggesting areas to visit for our next visit- we have to go back! Throughout our trip we felt perfectly safe and secure, which is so important when traveling across the world. Sue checked in with us to make sure there were no issue with our flights and was very prompt to answer any impromptu questions we had before and during the trip. Some highlights on our itinerary included a food tour of Bali where we got to try local food and visit a farmer’s market and try some of the delicious fresh fruit Bali has to offer and a beautiful candlelit dinner in a cave on the beach. We visited several Balinese temples and one was a cliffside temple where we also got to see a traditional Balinese fire dance- a must see if you visit Bali! Needless to say, the photo ops were abundant throughout this entire trip. A honeymoon is a once in a lifetime trip and that is certainly what this was and we are so grateful to Sue for putting everything together for us so perfectly! I can’t say enough how much of an amazing experience we had in Bali and I highly recommend Personal Escape Travel for anyone looking to have a unique and memorable honeymoon. We can’t wait to go back and we fully intend to work with Sue and Personal Escape Travel when planning all of our vacations in the future!

My husband and I hadn't done much international travel before our honeymoon, so we weren't sure where to start. We told Susan what we were looking for and she took it from there. She was honest, open and has so much experience to share from, and made the entire process a breeze. The honeymoon was the easiest part of my wedding - I didn't have to do anything to plan it, and it was AWESOME. Everything was taken care of by Susan, flight, resort, transportation, excursions, everything. If I did have questions along the way, Susan was always available and very quick to respond. We went to a beautiful resort in Mexico and were completely spoiled by the staff. The service was amazing, everyone was friendly, and we had an absolute blast. We took some of Susan's recommendations for activities and were stunned by some places we probably wouldn't have discovered on our own. I don't know how I've traveled without the help of Personal Escape Travel!! I will definitely be using this agency and again and highly recommend for all your honeymoon & travel needs.

She was also willing to work with me nights and weekends to fit around my schedule, and the weekend of the wedding she let me know that she was basically on call the entire time – as she saw to every detail well in advance of the wedding, I did not actually need her on the wedding weekend, but just knowing she was available provided me with peace of mind. In addition, Sue guided us to our resort for our destination wedding, and it was perfect! The resort was beautiful like many others in the Caribbean, but their focus on weddings (only one wedding a day), attention to details, and personalization not only blew me away but my guests as well! In addition, Sue knew that this resort held a Bride’s Dress Rehearsal, an event where we could see the resort, meet the vendors, and make decisions well before the wedding – all of which Sue helped us arrange. While working with Sue, I felt like no request was too large or small as she worked with me on every single detail – she ensured that certain guests did not have rooms next to each other (family drama is unavoidable), she switched flights when schedules changed and made sure to get the best prices, she was willing to work with our crazy budget (we helped pay a portion of the trip for all of our guests, of course it was on a guest by guest basis so the amount was always different, but she never complained about the additional burden of figuring out how much we owed and how much each guest owed), and she even talked me off a ledge and arranged travel last minute when two additional guests were invited by someone other than myself or the groom. Further, I appreciated that Sue was budget conscious for me – for example, when deciding on which location to have the wedding reception, she suggested a particular location that was free (as compared to $950 for the location I was considering), as it was not only free, but it also overlooked the dance floor which would be nice for our grandmother in a wheelchair to observe the action – we felt this was so thoughtful of Sue to consider her, and we were so grateful at the time of the reception to have our grandmother so close to us! And the location was just beautiful! Finally, Sue was always available to bounce ideas off of, and she provided insightful suggestions. I sent all of the wedding design ideas to both her and my wedding coordinator so I could get her opinion, as well as other items unrelated to booking travel arrangements. Overall, working with Sue was such a pleasure, and I know that she is responsible for making the wedding process as smooth and as stress free as it was. I would recommend Sue to anyone, for any kind of travel, and definitely for destination weddings!

The Place D’Italoe, our base, was beatuiful, with the spring blossms in full bloom, excellent connections to all the major Metro lines and stations, and very handy for shopping and local meals in a variety of neighborhood bistros. Susan looked after us every step of the way, and was as kind as she is professional. Cant wait to travel with her again!

We decided on Greece and she really helped us to plan a trip better than we ever could have imagined. She provided options for tours based on what we like to do, found an alternate mode of transportation for part of our trip to help the budget (ferry vs. a plane to island hop) and there was no request to silly whether it was a hotel that instead had a private jacuzzi or picking one with the best views. We went back and forth many, many times to create the perfect trip and she was never frustrated but really just wants you to be happy! Everything went without a hitch on the trip but Susan does make herself available at the drop of a hat if you were to need her. Car service was waiting for us when needed, we had a great time on the tours (the cooking and winery class in Santorini was amazing!), and best of all we got some really great room perks (most private room at our hotel in Oia) that I am sure we would not have if we hadn't booked through her. I'm already dreaming of going back to Greece (and have a serious travel itch!) & will absolutely use Susan again for future trips.
