Buyer beware – despite the beautiful space, I wish my husband and I avoided working with this establishment. I hosted a welcome party for my wedding weekend at Pinstripes in August of 2021, and was extremely disappointed the night of the event and afterwards. In short – the planners were unresponsive prior to the event, failed to deliver on the contracted and agreed upon services, and brushed off requests to correct this on the night of the event as if we were inconveniencing them. One week later, and after a lengthy email detailing my experience, the assistant manager profusely apologized and offered a refund for the services their team failed to deliver (nothing else to make up for their mistakes), however the refund never showed up in my credit card statement. Two months later I noticed they had just charged my credit card two more times for the full cost of the event, and they won’t responded to any of my messages about it! In the end I had to change my credit card number, and Chase helped dispute both transactions.

We had our wedding at Pinstripes on October 23,2021. We had an intimate wedding of about 50 people on the river level terrace. Everything was perfect! Our guests loved the food and drinks, the service with our servers and bartenders was great, all the employees were helpful and looked like they enjoyed being there! I love the atmosphere of Pinstripes, a wonderful combination of modern/industrial with rustic warm wood accents. Our event manager Lejla was amazing, she was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and was quick to respond to emails and calls!

Review of wedding on 9/25/21: Being a couple trying to get married in 2020 was not easy. We originally chose Pinstripes Chicago for our venue back in 2018 for the following reasons: amazing food, Riverwalk outdoor access, bocce ball, firework views on Saturdays, the overall wedding package, and the attentive coordinators we exchanged with. That venue decision proved to be the right one even after the pandemic started. I can’t thank Pinstripes management and event coordinators enough for being SO accommodating in moving our wedding date. There was complete understanding and support on an upsetting decision. Fast forward to September 2021: our new date! Lejla worked with us up until the big day. We could tell she is one of the best! She was responsive, had great ideas, helped with anything we requested and was just overall making things happen. She coordinated with our vendors and was extremely organized. The Pinstripes event portal records all conversations and updates with any detail changes. That made such a difference in this long process of ours! The wedding day: Lejla, Jeremy, and the entire Pinstripes staff WERE AMAZING! Everything was set up flawlessly and on time. We had our ceremony and reception in the same room so it was quite the effort for the staff to flip the entire setup while guests were outside for cocktail hour. The food was out of this world, my guests are still talking about it! Lastly, the bartenders were so quick serving 120 guests. There was never a line and the bartenders always had a smile on their face. My husband and I could not be more grateful to Pinstripes for making our wedding exactly how we dreamed it to be! This location will always have a special place in our hearts and our stomachs :) THANK YOU!

In the last few months, the Pinstripes team was wonderful to work with and helped accommodate our changes in plans with COVID. Their staff is fun, energetic, and experts in event planning. We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Pinstripes this year in the cocktail room down by the beautiful river and we cannot wait to host our larger reception next year in the ballroom. The location (right next to Navy Pier) is optimal and the outside/inside flexibility was greatly appreciated. During and after our rehearsal dinner, our guests thanked us several times for the delicious food at Pinstripes. The event planning team has been great to work with --through tastings, room setup, and again, re-planning our entire event with COVID. If you're looking for a great location, delicious food, a rustic setup on the river, and a great planning team, look no further! Wedding planning is already quite time consuming and a few Pinstripes below alleviated so many of our stresses throughout: Jessica Randel has been very responsive and proactive throughout her time with us--we had to make significant changes to our plans due to COVID and she helped bring our new vision (keeping everyone as safe as possible while maximizing our rehearsal dinner experience). She's helped us change our 150 person wedding to an intimate rehearsal dinner gathering outside, expertly advised us on various dinner services and setup, helped us safely manage new Chicago COVID rules (that changed week to week), and during the week of she kept us abreast of the weather and proactively guided us into a stress-free scenario. We cannot wait to work with her next year as we reschedule our big wedding reception in the downstairs ballroom. My husband and I also cannot thank Sherry Kenny, Diana Grodecki, and Jeremy Hopkins enough for the excellent expertise and service-driven customer experience. Sherry, at Oakbrook Pinstripes, provided us invaluable advice as we were navigating our COVID change in plans and managing through the changing circumstances in Chicago. Diana worked with us during the early phases, making our wedding tasting and early planning experience with my family a blast. At our rehearsal dinner, Jeremy ensured that every one of our guests received the top food and drink service, that his staff took precautionary measures, and that everyone had a phenomenal time. These efforts on your wedding weekend make a huge difference and we couldn’t have been more happy with our rehearsal dinner evening. We cant wait to finalize our big wedding reception plans with them in 2021 and return for another great experience.

Pinstripes was the perfect choice for our intimate, post-wedding celebration. The downtown venue and river-level event space created a perfect backdrop for our dinner. All of our guests raved about the delicious food, the beautiful space, and the fun they had playing bocce. We had to change coordinators a few times but Jessica (our final coordinator) was great to work with. She was super helpful and ensured everything ran smoothly.

We did our rehearsal dinner at Pinstripes and it was perfect! The food was amazing, the room was beautiful, and we rented bocce courts as well which was so much fun!! They were extremely easy to work with, very responsive, and so nice. We used to live right above the restaurant so we knew the locale was perfect, and were so happy they were able to accommodate our welcome party the night before the wedding.

We were blown away by the high quality food and service provided! Our family is in food service and catering out of state, so we had a high expectation that was absolutely exceeded. The short rib was phenomenal. The servers were exceptionally attentive and guests continue to tell us how impressed they were with the menu. Kyla at Pinstripes went beyond her role as a caterer. She was critical in connecting us with exceptional vendors, guiding us through the menu and following up in every aspect to ensure every detail was attended to with care. We considered many more familiar catering companies and absolutely strongly recommend Pinstripes!

We were a mature couple, having a traditional wedding, for a 125 of our loved ones and dearest friends. There is not enough praise I can offer Pinstripes Chicago. Jessica and her team were incredibly intuitive, professional & accommodating to our every need & request. Thank you so much for helping make our day so special!!!

Pinstripes was the perfect wedding venue for us! We used Pinstripes for both our rehearsal dinner, ceremony location , reception. Shannon was our main contact during our planning process and then we also worked briefly with Vee the few days leading up to the wedding including the rehearsal dinner. Shannon was amazing to work with and prompt in responding to my and my family's many many questions. During the event she checked in with us when necessary and even had some food brought to our bridal room after she noticed we didn't eat much during the cocktail hour because we were busy taking family photos. There were no issues the entire night and our guests RAVED about the venue, riverwalk and food. We actually had friends tell us it was the best wedding they've ever been to! The best part was we capped the night off with bowling and late night snacks. The rest of the staff for the night was awesome as well the bartenders and servers were friendly and service was prompt. Compared to many other Chicago wedding venues (and I looked at over 13) Pinstripes was the best value and check offed everything we were looking for in a venue- great location, amazing food, and fun ambiance.

Pinstripes was fantastic and all of our wedding guests raved about the food and the venue. Although our event manager switched mid-way through the planning process, the transition was seamless, and Hailey and Grace were both wonderful. The pricing was very reasonable, especially given the downtown location, and because Pinstripes was able to include or arrange for so many things that would normally have required us to hire and deal with multiple vendors had we chosen a different venue, our wedding planning was so simple. Our wedding day was perfect!

Cannot thank Pinstripes enough for helping us celebrate our big day! Jessica, our event manager, was AMAZING - great communication and consistent support. Our guests loved the food and riverwalk, and our servers and bartenders were fantastic! We loved having our wedding at Pinstripes and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a laidback, Chicago-style venue :)

We just celebrated our daughter's wedding at Pinstripes on Saturday. I can't say enough about the whole experience. Our coordinator Jessica was wonderful. She took care of every little detail and made sure that everything ran smoothly the night of the wedding. Our guests loved the venue! They had fun playing bocci and really enjoyed the riverwalk :) The food was amazing! I highly recommend the short ribs. Servers and bartenders were great. We couldn't have picked a more perfect venue!!

We had a wonderful experience having our wedding at Pinstripes in early October 2017! It was such a pleasure working with the on-site planner, Shannon. She was very attentive to detail, responsive to my wide range of questions, and very knowledgeable about how to optimize the venue for the best possible experience. We loved the vibe of the venue, and appreciated the indoor/outdoor possibilities with the river level patio. The food was delicious (and abundant!) and the staff at our wedding were all very helpful, even on the days before and after the wedding when we were finalizing details or picking up items left behind. We had a wonderful Pinstripes experience and I would highly recommend it to any bride looking for a fun, affordable downtown Chicago venue.

We had our wedding reception at Pinstripes Chicago and it was amazing! The room and river walk are beautiful! The service & waitstaff were incredible, so attentive & nice and the food was delicious! Our event coordinator, Shannon, was great- always super responsive and helpful down to the last details. We had a fairly strict budget that we wanted to stick with and Pinstripes made that possible without losing any of the important details. Excellent venue!

My husband and I had an incredible experience working with Pinstripes Chicago for our wedding reception. Before choosing it, we did a lot of online shopping for venues that checked off boxes on our "must have" list (e.g., large capacity, in Chicago, close to hotels, good food, some sort of outdoor space). Pinstripes was the first and only venue we actually visited; it checked off all of our boxes and we loved the event planner, Veronica, there. There was a change in hands a bit before our wedding because Veronica moved to another job, but the transition to working with Jessica was very smooth. Communication via email with Jessica was timely and helpful, and when we needed to have lengthier conversations, she was available via phone. We liked that Pinstripes had drink/food package options and that it included a wedding cake. We were able to bring family members with us to the tasting and the scratch family-style Italian food was DELISH. Stand-outs were the pork, potatoes, and risotto. Our guests raved about the food and the cake. We had a bit of a hiccup with valet parking the week of the wedding; apparently the city was changing zoning, so valet was not going to be available right outside of Pinstripes (no fault of theirs). However, Jessica made sure that our guests were well taken care of. She brought over information about a different valet option to our hotel and had a staff member stationed outside of the venue to direct our guests to parking. This is just one example of ways that Jessica and her team went above and beyond. Our vendors (and our moms!) worked seamlessly with Jessica. It was great to have outdoor space so that people could go out on the river walk during the reception. What was even better is that our wedding was on a Saturday night during the summer, so we could see the Navy Pier fireworks perfectly from Pinstripes! Such a bonus and we got some really great pictures of them. We also received a discount on a day-after brunch buffet. This was seriously one of the highlights of our wedding weekend! The brunch is amazing (especially the mini waffles with balsamic whipped cream)! Definitely highly recommend Pinstripes!

Amazing!! I had my wedding here in August. Our venue coordinator, Laura is detail oriented and helpful. The menu and drink options were extensive, and the food was wonderful! You really can't beat the food and service. The staff reminded me multiple times that the gratuity is included, and they are honest about their contracts. My guests loved the bocce ball and Navy Pier fireworks. It's very hard to find such a lovely venue on the city for the price!

I was a little hesitant at first to say yes to a venue that I could "bowl or play bocce" at. But, saying yes to Pinstripes, with the encouragement of my mother, was the best decision I could have made to make my wedding "the perfect wedding". My wedding coordinator, Veronica, was AWESOME! I planned long distance from Atlanta with my mother and Veronica in Chicago. They both made it so easy for me. Everything my mother and I chose as far as décor, was ideas from Pinterest and Veronica just helped to steer us in the right direction in order to bring everything to life. I was walking into almost everything as a surprise. It turned out beautiful!!!!!! and I have been getting nothing compliments since "This is such a cool venue" "This was wedding was so beautiful and so elegant" "The service was amazing" "The food was amazing" "The cake was amazing"... The compliments have been endless. If I could do it all over again I would in a heartbeat! Except the second time around I would not for a second hesitate to choose Pinstripes Chicago as my venue. All of my guests had a blast! Can't wait to come back and visit (Their food, the brunch!, everything is amazing!)

Just Spectacular ! I just hosted my daughters wedding here and I can't say enough about it! Veronica, the event coordinator went way behold the call of duty, she is just amazing, nothing was overlooked. The chef was amazing too , the menu choices we made , everyone just raved about each and every one them. The presentation is so lovely too. The staff was so attentive and polite to all my guests the entire evening, just can't say enough about them. And also my guests played bocce ball and had a blast! They were also able to go outside on the river walk and enjoy the views of the city. Please stop by and see Veronica, believe me you will not be disappointed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I cannot say enough good things about Pinstripes as the ceremony and reception venue for our wedding. Lisa, the Pinstripes Chicago event coordinator, went above and beyond to ensure everything came together perfectly and our day was flawless. Our guests raved about the venue- the outdoor space and cocktail hour area lined with floor to ceiling windows made for the most beautiful backdrop, and the 10:00pm fireworks on Saturday nights at Navy Pier were in full view for all of our guests which was an added bonus. The prices were so affordable which is unheard of in the city! Our guests still talk to us about how incredible the food was (DEFINITELY go with the salmon!) and about what a wonderful venue it was. The Pinstripes team really did everything they could to make our day special and beautiful, and we wouldn't have changed a thing. I would highly recommend Pinstripes as a wedding venue to anyone!

Our wedding reception at Pinstripes was a beautiful success. Not only was the food delicious but with the family style setting you get lots of choices and enough food to be more than satisfied.Our guests raved about the food, service and atmosphere. Our wedding planner, Jessica was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. She was thorough, knowledgeable and so pleasant to work with. The weather cooperated so we were able to have our cocktails out on the Chicago river. It added such a nice touch to our wedding. Usually, you get what you pay for, but in this case I would say that we received above and beyond.
