Richmond International Airport is roughly an hour’s drive from the property, and there are various nearby hotels for guests from out of town. Pleasants Landing covers 2,500 feet of the lake’s shore, creating an intimate space for wedding ceremonies. Between its indoor and outdoor locations, couples can choose the space that most reflects their needs and preferences. A lakeside ceremony exudes romance, while celebrations in the banquet hall can be decorated to fit themes from rustic to contemporary. The venue is inherently rustic, but couples can decide to embrace this or slightly alter it to suit their tastes. Hanging draping over the windows can fill the room with soft, diffused light for a tender atmosphere. The Banquet Room, covering 2,900 square feet, can fit up to 200 of your loved ones, and includes tables and chairs. Possible outdoor spaces include the Point, the Pier, the Beach, and the Lawn. For an elegant celebration, the patio is available for cocktail receptions. Couples can make an unforgettable entrance to the celebration by renting one of the venue’s boats, or they can sail off into the sunset together.
