She was there for me for every little question I had in the months before my wedding. She took charge of the event timeline and vendor communication - which was exactly what I needed when I was slammed with work and all of the other personal chaos that kicks into high gear in those final weeks. On the day of our wedding, Marian was an absolute rock star. She was a step ahead of everything and kept us on schedule while also making sure my partner and I weren't stressing when we hit roadblocks (like when our family members got lost a block away from the location for formal photos or my shoe sunk into the cobblestones and got stuck). She was always nearby in case we needed anything and was proactive in solving problems before we even knew they existed. Plus, she brings an excellent, positive, and fun energy to the day! I highly, highly recommend hiring Marian as your planner or day of coordinator. She gave me a true peace of mind that I didn't know was possible with a large event like a wedding and that was worth it a million times over.

Her expertise allowed us to focus on other aspects of the planning process as she created a detailed minute-by-minute calendar of events and managed all communications with our vendors in the few weeks leading up to the wedding. Mi was absolutely incredible throughout the actual weekend, ensuring that everyone was in the right place at the right time. She was also extremely thoughtful, constantly checking in to make sure I was enjoying myself and that I had everything I needed. At no point was I stressed during the weekend and I can confidently say that is because of Mi! What impressed me most was Marian and Mi’s commitment to their clients, which didn’t stop after the weekend was over. When we encountered a small mix-up with one of our vendors, Marian stepped in to manage communications and resolve the issue during the week following the wedding. I wholeheartedly recommend Marian and Mi to any couple looking for exceptional wedding coordination!

Because of this, the wedding week was stress free and relaxed. The wedding day itself was when Marian really stood out. I wasn’t exactly sure at first what a planner did day of. What did she NOT do was the better question? She saw any issue approaching from a mile away and solved it immediately. I really wanted an intimate first look with my dad and groom- she confirmed this with me and then asked my bridesmaids to keep it private. Things like this really allowed me to be more in the moment. She literally has a masters degree in dress arranging. She laid out my skirt and veil so beautifully in pictures. She had a comb readily available as well as a number of other things I didn’t even think of. Additionally, she got so many great pictures herself that allowed me to see some behind the scenes the next day which I adored!!! She made the whole day feel effortless and smooth. She seriously had a tab on everything and every person at all times and could tell you where something was at any given moment. When my bustle went down in the beginning of the night she was right there with safety pins to save the day! al “panic” moments (over the most minor of details), she always knew the solution. When we needed her to source decor items, she found and/or created the perfect ones and even lent us items of her own (eg a giant frame and stand for our welcome sign, gold and glass terrarium for collecting cards, baskets for our dancing flip flops, etc) . She communicated with all the vendors seamlessly, and the day of our wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. The vision completely came to life and the timeline ran precisely on schedule. Don’t think twice about hiring Marian!!!

On my wedding day, Marian seamlessly orchestrated the various wedding vendors and I never had to worry about a missing detail. Even when rain dampened my dreams for an outdoor ceremony, Marian worked quickly to move everything inside and helped create a cozy, intimate ceremony atmosphere that was just perfect. I cannot recommend Marian and Porch & Pearls enough. If it was PC to get married all over again just have more time with Marian I would!

We also benefitted from the fact that she has a legal degree due to her knowledge of the legal aspects of the ceremony and vendor contracts. getting ready at a hotel, our ceremony at a church, reception at a venue, and after party at a bar, I knew we needed support for the day of our wedding to help make it all happen. With all the logistics involved, we wanted someone we could trust to run the show the entire day. After first talking with Marian, I knew she was professional, took pride in her services, and was a wedding expert! I was so impressed after our first conversation that we booked her immediately. Not only was she our Day of Coordinator, she helped us stay on track with all of our decisions and details 10+ months leading up to our wedding. She was easily accessible and provided advice and recommendations on all things wedding day (even questions with addressing invitations, providing insight on different vendors, ordering details items, etc.) all the months leading up to the wedding day. As it got closer to the wedding, she worked with our big team of vendors to ensure everyone was aligned with the overall timeline she put together and served as the main POC for them, allowing us as a couple to take a step back. She even helped us plan out the logistics of guest shuttle transportation that we booked last minute. On our wedding day, she was right by our side every step of the way and was a comforting face to see. She kept us on schedule with everything, but was still flexible/adjusted with things that we made game-time decisions on. Having her be by our side and running the show was invaluable - and we know she was behind the scenes working with all the vendors during the day too. There were so many things she did (without us even asking) that made me realize I don’t know who would have done those things if we did not have Marian. Some examples include: keeping us on track and moving with photography/videography, opening the doors of the church before I came down the aisle, bustled my dress in the bridal suite, helped transport and setup flowers from the church to the reception, distributing tips at the end of the night, packing up personal items, texting us photos the next day, etc. She also helped keep our large bridal party (9 on each side) organized and moving throughout the day. We are so thankful for Marian and are SO happy with our decision to hire her. I would recommend her and her services to anyone who is starting to plan their wedding!!!! ico and my mom is from Poland, so we wanted to plan a wedding that incorporated as much of our respective cultures as we could. There were so many moving parts to our wedding and so many different details that we wanted to include so that it felt like ours, and Marian was great at helping our vision come to life! She really understood what kind of vendors we were looking for, and all of her suggestions were perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding day, and we definitely couldn't have done it without her!

Marian provided great ideas and vendor recommendations and her planning list allowed me to visualize the areas I needed to focus on prior to our wedding. We also had Marian come to our rehearsal which was extremely helpful to due to our high chance of needing a rain plan. She was able to easily manage the many personalities of our spirited family and friends. On our wedding day, Marian made sure we stuck to our timeline and executed our vision better than I could have imagined. We had an amazing day! And at the end of the night everything was packed up! Hiring her not only relieved my stress but I was glad that my family and bridal party were not burdened with coordination and could relax and enjoy the day! Marian is direct, agile, has great communication skills, a good sense of humor (which is essential for all the stress of a wedding), and kind. We would highly recommend her!

She did everything from Bustle my dress at the reception, to organize and collect family members for photos, to secure my veil, to getting us drinks at the reception. She was organized, thoughtful, and well-prepared. At the end of the night when were leaving to go to the after party I knew I was missing something but couldn't put my finger on what it was, and without saying anything, Marian handed me my hotel key and said, I think you're looking for this. This summed up our experience with her - she knew what we needed before we even thought of it ourselves.

On the day of the wedding Marian arrived in our bridal suite and helped me get dressed and made sure we were sticking to our timeline. She checked in with us frequently throughout the day and it was so helpful to have someone to turn to and ask for help, with literally anything, including finding me eye drops when I had something in my eye! She was so helpful and I couldn’t imagine the day without her!
