My wedding took place in May 2021 and I used Precious Pics to book a photographer and videographer. Six months later, I'm still extremely frustrated with the experience I had and the terrible photos I received. To start, I uploaded a shot list ...and several inspirational photos into the portal, along with songs I'd like to use for my videos. The photographer told me he never received a shot list so he provided very little -if any- direction on the day of our wedding and missed many important photos we should've had taken - like pictures with bridesmaids/groomsman and other attendees, as well as some individual photos of myself and me and my husband. Of the photos he did capture and were sent to me, many of them have terrible lighting and are basically unusable when printed. I complained for months to one of the contacts at Precious Pics and finally received the raw files, but that's been completely useless as many of the pictures are photoshop files and now the onus is on me to have the appropriate software and to be able to edit them. Now that it's the holidays and I'm looking to print pictures and use them for holiday cards, they're completely useless. Additionally, with the videos, the first version that was sent to me, my name was spelled wrong in two of them and two of the three videos jumped around on the sound and picture that it was hard to watch. It took four rounds of edits to get them right, which is unacceptable. I also requested specific songs through the portal and was told after the wedding that I needed to reupload them. From start to end the process was clearly dysfunctional and the lack of communication among Precious Pics and the photographer translated to unusable pictures. I'm extremely disappointed and don't know how to ever correct this wrong, but I want to provide this feedback here and in my third party reviews so that others are aware of what they're signing up for.
