Warm hello from us, Rabbi Reuben Modek and Cantor Adam Feder. Based in the New York Metropolitan area, we officiate exquisite ceremonies that fully express each couple's unique values and needs. You may choose a destination wedding in Israel or elsewhere, or just have your wedding close to home. Congratulations on taking this special step. We look forward to serving as your officiant, coach, and clergy while planning your ceremony. As we get to know you, we will plan an unforgettable ceremony that is just right for you. Designing your wedding will be a co-creative process. Jewish tradition is our joyful and honored inspiration. Serving the rainbow of couples is our passion - traditional, interfaith, same-sex, and spiritual. Both of us are credentialed and licensed. Cantor Feder is an interfaith minister, and Rabbi Modek is doubly ordinated. Both of us possess academic degrees in counseling. With us, you will have the option of taking marriage empowerment sessions (pre-marital counseling). That will be up to you. As you can see, we prioritize meeting your style and needs. Rabbi Reuben and Cantor Adam love officiating together, but whether you select to engage one of us or want to have the team will be your choice. Thinking of a destination wedding in Israel or elsewhere? It is our specialty. Rabbi Reuben spends summers in Israel and loves traveling. Couples have also asked us to assist, as their family grows, with baby naming, Bar and Bat Mitzvah and more. We are ready to start the journey with you as soon as you are. Additionally, please know that Cantor Adam's virtuoso world music ensemble, “The Shul Band”, is available for your party and/or reception. Ask us about the package deal.

Modek met with us in person, and also had multiple phone calls and emails with us to discuss and personalize the ceremony. He was always prepared for any questions we had, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. The actual ceremony was perfect - the right mix of poignant, personal, humorous, and traditional. Rabbi Modek has dual ordination from Aleph Alliance For Jewish Renewal, and the Academy For Jewish Religion. For two decades he has conducted local and destination wedding, bar/t mitzvah, and baby naming ceremonies for independent Jewish and interfaith families. A native Israeli, and graduate of Haifa University School of Social Work, he is the founder director of Hebrew Learning Circles. Rabbi Modek, a certified WIT Group facilitator and counselor, he runs men’s support groups and more. Combining multidisciplinary skill sets, Rabbi Modek leads inclusive, meaningful, and joyful ceremonies.
