r price is very affordable for what you get! I literally felt the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life after she was done! She did my maid of honor’s makeup as well and it was too perfect. She knows skin tone and eye color and how to make your best features POP!! On top of that, my hairstylist got lost TWICE and was an hour late but Rachel was so comforting and offered to do my hair if needed (because she is ALSO a hair wizard of course). It was such a comfort to have her there and her personality is so easy-going and friendly; all your bridesmaids will Love her. Top notch service and would recommend to any bride who wants to be their most gorgeous self on tbeir wedding day ;)

id. So I didn't really know what to look for or request aside from a general direction. The first trial was great, and from there I (along with my fiance, who actually had some opinions!) figured out what I was looking for for the wedding day. I discussed what I was thinking with Rachel after the first trail and she is so amazing and attentive she had really good recommendations and minor changes we could do to get the look I was going for. The 2nd trial was spot-on and I felt amazing going into the wedding. My skin does get really oily with a lot of makeup on, and Rachel did an amazing job of keeping me matte all day and night during the wedding. Day-of she is a great calming presence and is such a great pro. She did 3 bridesmaids, my mom, and myself and everyone's makeup turned out amazing. Such a great experience!

I live in LA, but was getting married out of town and during my online search for a makeup artist I shivered and even got some real anxiety when I came across the airbrushed, caked on, monstrosities that were locally available to me in the small town, NorCal, region where we were getting hitched. A friend recommended Rachel from LA and said that she would travel. We had our trial session and my fears immediately subsided. My face was a g-d damn work of art and Rachel is a genius. Many things can and sometimes do go wrong during a wedding. Let it be. Let there be not enough tea lights, let the wedding planner be a little too stressed ... but ladies, with grace and adoration, take care of the star of the show that is you! The last thing you want is for your face to be a mess and to not look like your beautiful self. Rachel did such a masterful job of accentuating my natural beauty, and the best part is the way I shined from the inside out when I looked at myself in the mirror. I look in awe at my wedding photos today and I still get chocked up when I think of my Mother’s face when she saw how beautiful she looked on the day of the wedding after Rachel was finished. Elegant, gorgeous and beaming with joy. In addition to that, Rachel is a consummate professional. She is punctual, her prices are very reasonable, and she had a glow of peace and calm on the day of my wedding that I remember cherishing in the moment while I sat in her chair getting my look perfected. And logistically, she's very responsible on time and the pacing - a great quality when you've got the day planned down to the minute. Also, if possible, get your bridesmaids to spring/opt-in for her services. She can artfully create individual looks for every single person while still holding true to the tone and theme that the bride has already set. Because she's so good at what she does, it's usually pretty obvious when someone doesn't opt-in for the services and can be a miss for the photos. Trust me... she's totally worth it. They'll be very glad they spent the money!

flawless technique. She can go as extreme as you want or as subtle and simple. She has such an incredible range! I liked her so much, that I had her do my make-up for a Halloween party last October and she transformed me into the best Bride of Frankenstein, it was incredible and I won best make-up! Overall, I would have Rachel do my make-up everyday if I could. She is a wonderful addition to any wedding party!
