Second, the day of the wedding was an absolute blast. Sal played the guitar at both our ceremony and cocktail hour, and then kept the party going through the entire reception. The entire band did a great job facilitating the event (i.e., bridal party entrances, speeches, etc.), and when the time came, kept everyone out on the dance floor the entire night. Lastly, I would add that it was a pleasure to have Sal and the band at our wedding. They were extremely professional, kept the energy high throughout the party, and just overall were nice to be around. Our guests are still raving about them. I would recommend Ready in 10 to any couple looking for a great wedding day!!

and and boy are we glad we did. From the start Sal was one of the best vendors communication wise. He responded quickly and was easy to talk to and work with. You just feel like he cares about you personally when working with him. Besides for being great during wedding prep, Sal and Ready in 10 knocked it out of the park on our big day. Sal was so easy and accommodating to work with throughout the entire process. He heard what we wanted and far exceeded any of our expectations. The band played to all ages of our crowd and had everyone put their seats all night! From cocktail hour to the end of the night there was always a member singing and not a moment of silence. hlight of our wedding. The band leader, Sal, is probably the nicest human on the planet. In fact when we were narrowing down our final choices, we picked ready in 10 for that reason since we knew he’d be accommodating and easy to work with. We added Sal as acoustic guitar during cocktail hour and for the band to never stop playing live (in that they rotated their meal breaks so that we never had to go to recorded music). Our guests in particular noticed and commented that they never took a break all night so I’m glad we went with that option. Sal and his team sing and play great and the dance floor was always packed, which was my biggest fear with a smaller wedding. I don’t think my SIL left the dance floor all night! We wanted to make sure we enjoyed the party so we stayed on the dance floor most of the night as well. Everyone is still raving about them. It can not be overstated how accommodating Sal was. We wanted the acoustic version of Simply the Best from Schitts Creek, so Sal recorded him singing the song so we’d have it in advance to practice our dance. I’m a huge Disney fan and had Disney touches during the night. I asked him to sing Tale as Old as Time from Beauty and the Beast during cake cutting and he said sure, best song ever! We even asked if they could learn a song from the JLo movie Marry Me and they said sure and learned it and played it perfectly, leaving everyone wondering where the song was from. My husband plays guitar and sings for fun so he surprised me with an original song, and Sal happily coordinated that for him. We also wanted photos with everyone but didn’t want to spend the whole day doing photos so we did something I saw on insta where the band plays one song and you have to get pics with every table during that song. Sal suggested Santa Monica for this song because that’s where we met. Our guests thought it was so fun and it was a quick way to capture everyone. And all said, Ready in 10 is also somehow affordable while providing a top notch experience. We also loved that they play live a lot around LI, particularly in the summer, so we could see them in action and not decide blindly based on a pre-recorded video. What are you waiting for - go book them!!

We got our own private first dance without anything being planned. It was so special and I will never forget that moment. There are bands that are there to play music and get people dancing, then there are bands that are there to make your day unforgettable, insanely fun and give you those special moments. The fact we went from 200 guests to just 50 guests didn’t faze the band one bit. They happily worked with us every step of the way. The most important part of the reception - the music - was never a worry. And when it came time to party, Ready In 10 was ready all night long. I mentioned it was a 50 person wedding, well 49 of them spent most of the night on the dance floor (there’s always that one person, am I right?). I haven’t seen my Mom dance that much in 20 years! My wife loves Top-40 and I love rock n’ roll. Somehow Sal came up with a set-list that made both of us really happy. We had a couple of non-traditional requests that were executed perfectly, as well. The acoustic set during the dinner serving was incredible too, pretty much creating some singalongs with songs that meant a lot to my groomsmen and close friends. That was a cool moment, for sure. It’s been a while since our wedding and I should’ve written a review earlier, but I’m sitting here smiling just thinking about the fun we all had on the dance floor that night. Everything from the Beatles to Blink 182 to Beyonce was executed flawlessly. Sal is friendly and helpful, and a great frontman/MC. He took the time to get to know our taste in music and to get a feel for what we were expecting during the ceremony, reception, and everything in between. He did a great job personalizing our experience. Many of our guests came up to us after the wedding and told us how impressive the band was, and how the setlist was very "us". Their lead guitarist Marc has some serious chops! The same can be said about the rest of this very talented group. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a versatile wedding band that will make your big day even more special!
