It’s also worth noting that your wedding photos will turn out amazing. We did our first look photos a few days beforehand, and Liz took us around on a golf cart so we could hit all of the beautiful locations throughout the garden. Overall, Red Butte was incredible to work with, very reasonably priced, and we loved our wedding day. Thank you!

ad our guests stay at the Marriott down the street which made it convenient for everyone. You do have a certain list of caterers you have to choose from, but they have so many on there that will pretty much let you have whatever food you want! I went over with the Red Butte staff where I wanted all tables, decorations, etc two weeks before the wedding which made me feel so much better. They were so helpful when I was starting to feel stressed out! You also don’t need many decorations since the venue is just so naturally beautiful. You also don’t have to travel far for any photos with your photographer. They do have a golf cart to take the bride, groom, and photographer around to different spots of the garden. 10/10 recommend!

Form with the names, contact info and arrival time of our hired vendors (caterer, cake, florist, musician, photographer, etc). They even asked for the name of a contact they could go to for questions on the wedding day which enabled my husband and I to focus on eachother and greeting our guests. This was something I really appreciated! We had a 4 piece band perform throughout the night. The music was quite loud even with volume control. Probably due to the elements of the room (concrete flooring, windows, etc), so I would probably recommend not having one or hiring a smaller band. The ivy walls and other plants in the room were perfect as a backdrop for photos. This was a big help as I didn't have to decorate much. Overall our experience was amazing, and I highly recommend having your wedding at The Orangerie at Red Butte Gardens!

he venue is SO stunning you don't need really anything to make it better. I had worried with our wedding being in August that it'd be too hot, but by the time our evening wedding rolled around (5:30pm), it was starting to cool off and was perfect!

They made the entire process smooth and easy. The gardens are beautiful, as well as the Orangerie where the reception was held. The wedding party was taken throughout the garden on a golf cart, which is great when you're stuck in a heavy, hot wedding dress!! I absolutely loved the venue; we had 5 hours for the event, and had plenty of time for set up. Beautiful, perfect outdoor/indoor wedding space!!!

for getting a small room, and you can only get food from their approved catering list, which are all pretty expensive.

Do be upfront about what you are expecting though as they don't help with everything which caused some confusion (we ended up hiring a day-of coordinator to fill in the holes). Overall: A++

d her staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The are beyond organized and professional and we worried about nothing, the day couldn't have been more perfect! They took care of everything, things we hadn't even considered and they coordinated with all of our vendors beautifully. Thank you again for everything, our wedding day was a dream because of the staff and beauty of Red Butte!

as needed. We had dinner in the Orangerie, which is a very tall building--one room, essentially--with glass walls overlooking the mountain hillsides to the east and the Salt Lake valley to the west. We had some beautiful flower arrangements for the tables; but otherwise, the setting itself provided the peaceful, warm ambiance. We had dancing on the patio abutting the Orangerie, which was the perfect space because people could go in and out throughout. The staff worked with me throughout the planning, and accommodated my long-distance planning. I wasn't able to actually meet with them until the week of my wedding. My mom was in SLC to help, which made things much easier. Between the ceremony and dinner, the staff drove us to a few different spots for pictures. Meanwhile, the gardens themselves were lovely for guests to enjoy. There are other areas at Red Butte where weddings can be held. Also it is possible to do everything inside the Orangerie if the weather is bad. The venue sets the tone for the evening and I couldn't have asked for a happier, more beautiful wedding. We were very very pleased.
