Sigh... The contact person here was not very responsive to us in the beginning, we actually never even met her, Rachel. They were very understanding to everything else, but with the suggestions came additionally high costs. On the day of, everything was great and went... Read More smoothly. HOwever, they messed up the table seating and I had to fix it right before the wedding started. A day and couple days later, we found out many people got sick. All the same symptoms of Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, etc. Many people had to go to the ER for an IV due to this sudden outbreak. Then on Monday, 3/28, both my husband and I had the exact same symptoms and couldn't even move. We were shaking, vomiting, everything you could imagine; felt like two dead people. Later, when more people said they were "Sick" over the weekend, we all realized we had the same thing. We immediately contacted Remi, but were told it wasn't them. That we all got sick from someone else. However, what made no sense was that everyone really had no connection to the other people other than the wedding. People got sick at the same time, but were no where near each other. The common denominator was Remi Restaurant. Ultimately, it makes me sad that my wedding was such a depressing memory of everyone getting sick and almost dying from the food/illness from staff/uncleanliness from staff. And that when we brought this to the attention of Remi, they didn't want to help, but were defensive that it wasn't them. I would not suggest having an event here, just maybe stop by for a quick cocktail.
