Based in Seattle, Washington, Reuben's Brews - Barrel House are a family-owned and operated brewery and event venue that specializes in hosting pre-wedding celebrations. It is suitable for rehearsal dinners, wedding showers, and parties. Co-founders Adam and Grace opened the brewery in 2012 after years of homebrewing. This venue is rustic and inviting. It is a large area that is surrounded by old oak barrels filled with aging beer. Seating includes high stools and barrel tables and lots of picnic tables for mingling. This room has a capacity of 110 people and has a separate entrance for you and your guests. Event packages include beer, cider, and non-alcoholic drinks served from 4 taps in the event space. Beyond the beer on tap, there are a large amount of beers available in cans. Outside catering is welcomed and there is a stereo system available to play music. It is a great space to spend time with the people you love before the big day.

We hosted our Welcome Party at Reuben's Brews - Barrel House and it was the perfect space to host our friends and family for our casual event. The team at Reuben's was able to offer plenty of drink options for our guests - beer, cider, wine, and alcohol-free - which was perfect to accommodate everyone invited. The speaker system allowed us to play our own music, we warmed up the space with flame-less candles on the tables, and folks could bring in their own dinner from the nearby food trucks. It was the perfect evening, with plenty of space to mix and mingle with our 100+ guests - and bonus points for being kid-friendly too!

We rented Reubens Barrel House for our rehearsal dinner and I am so glad we did! The space barely required any decorating, just a few basic center pieces on the picnic tables, and with the hanging bobble lights and barrels lining the walls, the vibes was set. Our wedding was in winter, and it was warm enough and held about 80 people very comfortable. It is very affordable for everything that you get and communication was quick and reliable. We hired a pizza company recommended by Reubens who set up their oven outside, it was a lovely casual very Seattle rehearsal dinner, would be even better for a summer event since the big garage door could be open.

Many of our couples are fans of the brewery or the Ballard area in general. I find it so exciting to connect them with a venue that showcases their personal interests and allows out of town guests to experience this unique area of Seattle.
