Rizzo's Malabar Inn Reception Hall

We had our wedding reception at Rizzo’s Malabar Inn Reception Hall on June 18, 2022 and the day was truly a dream. From our initial communication with Lynn, the coordinator, in August 2020, she offered a tour immediately and provided 2022 prices, which was a huge bonus. Lynn was so responsive to all of our calls and emails during our planning process. We went up several times prior to our wedding to view the reception space and plan our design. The day before our wedding, the room was set up as requested, with the correct number of chairs at every table. We opted for chair covers and bows through Rizzo’s vendor and it was worth every penny!! The chair covers completely transformed the room. The food was phenomenal. We opted for the sit-down meal and our guests were thrilled with the dinner. We loved that the sit-down meal provided options for everyone without having to worry about meal selection. Allergy accommodations were important to us, as four of our closest family members and friends have food allergies. Rizzo’s went above and beyond to provide them with a delicious meal that was not an entirely separate allergy meal. The space was beautiful, we loved using the outdoor space for more pictures, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better day. Rizzo’s staff went above and beyond, and we would recommend this venue to anyone.

We got married at Rizzo's on June 25, 2022 and they made our day absolutely perfect! I can't say enough wonderful things about the entire venue and staff from start to finish. The day was a real life fairy tale. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of throughout the entire night. Lynn coordinated with us leading up to the wedding day. She answered all questions and worked with our coordinators leading up to the event. I went the day before the wedding to deliver the decorations and begin setting up and the entire venue was absolutely perfection. Rizzo's made sure every detail was taken care of and everything was absolutely perfect. The food was one of the biggest highlight of the night and guests could not stop raving about how delicious everything was. We did the white glove buffet package with open bar which included a firework display. The fireworks were AMAZING. I was expecting a short display and was blown away by how long and beautiful the display was. From the time we walked in to the time we left, my husband and I were treated like royalty. I highly recommend Rizzo's to anyone looking for a wedding venue or event space. You will definitely not be disappointed.

Beautiful venue! We had our ceremony and reception at Rizzo's. Our ceremony was outside, under their pergola. They have beautiful landscaping so we had minimal decorating to do for the ceremony. The staff worked with the DJ and pastor to help direct the guests and wedding party during the ceremony. After the ceremony and during our pictures outside, they brought out a large silver bowl full of ice, water, and beer. It was much appreciated since it was a pretty warm day for the month of September. During the photos, our guests enjoyed some tasty cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the bar/cookie table room that was located inside next to the ballroom where our reception was held. I was jealous that I did not get to try some of the amazing food I kept hearing about for days after our wedding! Rizzo's has AMAZING food! Everyone loved their gnocchi! We received a ton of compliments on the dinner and the drinks. Besides having great food and yummy cocktails, the staff really did an amazing job and looked out for my bridal party. It seems like anytime I felt like I needed a drink, someone would appear out of no where and either have a drink in hand or was asking me if I needed anything! Rizzo's wedding coordinator, Lynn, was extremely helpful and a sweetheart to work with. She answered all my questions and made sure I felt at ease with all the plans fr my big day, I highly recommend Rizzo's for your wedding day!

This venue with its beautiful landscaping was perfect for an outdoor ceremony. All the food was spectacular and the staff that worked our wedding was incredible. But Lynn has got to go. She took multiple weeks to respond to every single one of my emails. She was constantly contradicting the contract that we signed all the while saying that everything would be fine even though she kept saying things that were the complete opposite of the contract. She gave me 1-day notice that she was going to be out of the country and unreachable by phone or email 3 weeks before my wedding (which were also the dates that the headcount, food options, linen order, final payment, etc. were due). The person who was supposedly covering her duties was left completely out of the loop, so all the totals were wrong, and we had to work it out ourselves. I was setting up at the venue the day before the wedding and Lynn asked if there was anything she could help with while we were at the rehearsal dinner. I asked her to do 2 things. Neither were even touched when I arrived the morning of my wedding. All morning, things kept going wrong and I had to run around trying to fix them. Things that were already communicated to Lynn or things that were in fact included in the contract and therefore already paid for. Things that Lynn should have been handling. At ~2PM I lost it because she still wasn’t there and I was missing some linens, a cake table, a riser for the head table that Lynn had promised (that I later found out didn’t even exist), and no one had come to take down the room divided between 2 of the ballrooms or set up cocktail tables. Two of my bridesmaids, angels that they are, went to find an answer other than “I’m sure she’ll be here soon” and found out that Lynn was OFF that day. How in the world could she be OFF work on the day of my wedding?!?!?! And never felt the need to communicate that with me?!?!? Or even communicate it with the staff since they all thought she'd be in soon... She clearly does not give a damn about her job or her clients and it shows. She was unapologetically awful. I would also like to include that I waited over 6 months to write this review because I thought that maybe I was just angry in the moment. Clearly not.

The staff at Rizzo’s made my daughter’s reception so enjoyable and memorable. The food, service and atmosphere was first class. Loved it!

We cant thank Rizzos Malibar Inn ENOUGH,, for making our special day a spectacular success !!!! Everything was truely punctual , professional , warm , friendly, beautiful and inviting !!!! We could not have chosen a better place or better employees to assist us in our marriage celebration!!! SALUTE to all !!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

We got married on 6/8/19 at Rizzo’s. It was perfect from start to finish. Everything was perfect and the food was delicious.

Our wedding went just perfect! The food was absolutely delicious & the staff was friendly & very professional. Hands down, a 5 star experience! We had a Christmas wedding & the decorations that they had displayed were wonderful . It was a bonus getting married during the holidays.

We recently got married at Rizzo's on August 25th, 2018! Let me start off by saying it was literally the most perfect day I could have asked for!! Rizzi, Lynn and the whole staff went above and beyond our expectations for a wedding venue. For the brides looking for a venue that offers fireworks, their show is guaranteed to wow your guests and make for some amazing pictures! Our friends and family are still talking about how our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been too! The staff never let a guest go without food or drink the entire night. The attentiveness of the entire staff can not be beat and not to mention the food was out of this world delicious!! :) Thank you so much for everything you did to make our wedding the most wonderful day.

Rizzo’s did an amazing job for our wedding this past weekend (9-29-2018) The staff was so kind and made sure all day long we were stress free. The venue is absolutely beautiful, food is out of this world. If you’re looking for your fairytale wedding then we highly recommend using Rizzo’s. We can’t thank them enough for making our day nothing short of perfect!

We were very happy with all aspects of our reception. Lynn was very accommodating in meeting all our requests. The room was set up beautifully. The food was wonderful and they offer a wide variety to help satisfy all. We also had them do the wedding cake - it was delicious! The service was exceptional - everyone went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend them for any event!

We recently had our wedding reception at Rizzo’s and it was absolutely the most PERFECT day!! From start to finish the staff was amazing to work with, Lynn is the ‘go to’ girl and an angel!! I knew they were great from the start, but then to have so many wedding guests compliment their service made us feel so good about this venue choice. They were so helpful in planning, food tasting, decorating, and going above and beyond to make sure everything was just as we dreamed it could be and more! My mother in law’s bustle came apart right as we were walking in for our entrance and Lynn, who was in charge of the event, set everything aside and came out with pins and fixed her dress right in the Knick of time! The food and drinks were plentiful and superb & absolutely something to talk about. Not to mention the venue looked ‘pinterest’ perfect. We ended the night with a sparkler send off and Rizzo’s fireworks which were out of this world! Kudos to Rizzi, Lynn, and the rest of the staff for doing what you do best and giving us and our guests an unforgettable day!

As a lifelong patron of Rizzo's, my family, now husband and I were ecstatic to book their banquet hall as our wedding venue. The outdoor ceremony was absolutely beautiful and provided a gorgeous backdrop for photos. Throughout the night, the staff were attentive. The food was fantastic - we have continually received so many compliments regarding the menu. As a surprise to our guests, we kept the fireworks a secret. They were a huge hit! No one was expecting such a fantastic show, myself included. Overall, Lynn, Rizzi, and all staff couldn't have been any more accommodating or considerate to help my husband and I have an absolutely perfect wedding day.

I can't say enough about the entire staff (especially Lynn) for making this very special day for our family exceptional. From planning to execution, they really stepped up to make the reception and ceremony one that many (especially me) will remember for quite awhile. I would be remiss not to mention that the appetizer/cocktail hour was near perfect and of course the food was simply as advertised - great!!!!

Rizzo's was amazing! They went above and beyond my expectations! The staff did anything I needed and was super helpful and attentive. Is was so nice having our wedding there. Our guests were blown away by the food, the landscaping was beautiful for pictures and it truly was an amazing night. I highly recommend Rizzo's for your next wedding. It was so worth it in every possible way.

Every one of my guests has told me this was the best wedding they have ever been to! It could not have been any better, the ceremony space is beautiful and needed minimal décor. The staff goes above and beyond from the bartenders to the serving staff and the management. Perfect flow from the ceremony to the cocktail hour. The cocktail space was beautiful with tall and low tables to sit at and a wonderful display of appetizers. Family style meals were a hit and no one left hungry. The serving of the food was flawless with perfect timing of all courses. Table clearing was done smoothly. The whole facility is perfect for entertaining, two outside areas with seating and beautifully landscaped all around. A personal fireworks display ended our perfect night with the serving of individual gelato and drinks. There is not one thing that needed changed. Rizzo’s is the only place to have a wedding!

OMG. Rizzo's went above and beyond. Every detail was covered and the options for an original celebration made this the best wedding I ever attended! A personal fireworks display! White gloves offering drinks after the service! The outdoor area is SO beautiful. The staff was amazing, family style meals times perfectly. The food was great. This place knows how to throw a party!

They helped plan and execute my wedding day to be absolutely flawless. The food was amazing. The service was excellent. The set up was great. Our wedding day happened to fall on a day the Penguins had a playoff game (and we all know how important that is). And instead of doing whatever they wanted Rizzi asked if I allowed the game to be on. We received so many compliments we are so glad we chose Rizzo's.

Rizzo's helped make our special day absolutely perfect! They went above & beyond to make sure our guests were taken care of & everything was exactly how we had asked them to make it. The staff were all extremely friendly and a pleasure to work with. They made our cookie table beautiful, I would highly recommend allowing them to tray for you! The fireworks at the end of the night were amazing & the perfect end to our perfect day! Lynn was a pleasure to work with & she made sure every detail was exactly what we wanted. I would definitely recommend Rizzo's for your wedding venue!

We reserved Rizzo's for my Daughter's & Son-in-Law's Wedding Reception. We cannot express how amazing the experience was. Rizzi, Lynn and his staff went above and beyond to make the day a success. The Hall was beautiful, the food was amazing (friends & family are still raving), the service was impeccable. Our Guests were greeted by Servers as they entered with beverages, the hors d'oeuvres were unsurpassed by any other. The Servers were professional & attentive. No detail was left unattended. We were able to enjoy the day without a worry. I also understand they are doing cakes and cookies now as well. I wish I had known that previously. I highly recommend Rizzo's for any event.

Rizzo's provided our guests with incredible tasting food and incredible amounts of food. There was not one person who left our wedding hungry, and not one person who didn't comment on how good everything was. If you decide to go with Rizzo's, we highly suggest the Chicken Romano and Lasagna. In addition to incredible food, the service staff was on top of things and the kitchen manager made it a point to introduce himself to everyone when we were decorating the room. I truly felt he would have done anything to ensure our satisfaction. The banquet facility was clean, tastefully decorated for the holidays, and provided our guests plenty of room to dance and mingle. My only complaint is regarding the communication with the planner-- I feel I waited longer than necessary to find out when I could get into the room the decorate, and was disappointed events were booked overtop of each other and I was not given ample time to decorate.

The catering services were top knotch. The individuals were happy, kind, and easy to work with. Not to mention thoughtful! The food was unbeatable. I have never had catered food that was soooo delicious. I am not sure of their secret, but WOW. The layout of the cookie table was also impressive. Thank you so much - AMAZING!!

Rizzi and staff were wonderful! The food was absolutely delicious and the servers were very friendly. Everyone attending my wedding which was about 300 love the food!

Not only did we have our reception at Rizzo's Malabar Inn, but our wedding service as well. We still get compliments on the food! During our ceremony, there was not one ounce of catering noise and the staff was the MOST helpful and any time I asked for something, the response was always - whatever you want, whatever you need. I can not begin to say how amazing and wonderful to be able to find the hall, food, and alcohol in on place. No fuss, no muss - just a beautiful experience from beginning to end. People are still asking us to do it again just so we can go back to Rizzo's!!
