eview rating I feel the need to respond. What this client’s review does not mention is the fact the we offered her a DJ and Photo Booth package with several FREE upgrades to make her party special. We had 5 team members, including myself, at her party. We received many compliments on the music selection and quality Photo Booth pictures. We will include a free slide show with the purchase of any TV package. We will scan, edit and produce up to 750 of your photos and burn them onto a DVD. The slide show can be shown throughout the evening during your event and is yours to keep. Normally we do not add video clips to the slide show. It is unfortunate that the client cannot appreciate all of the work, reformatting and editing time that went into making your slideshow the best possible given the material we had to work it. My concern for time editing constraints was explained to her in an email on March 6, 2017. The slideshow was free. Our policy of the free slide show is listed in your quote as well as all of our published price lists. The clip the client sent could not be fixed unless we shrink it down to 50% of its original size. I offered to reformat the clip for the client at no charge. Below is a copy of the email I sent to the client explaining the issue. “I checked your original video clip. It appears as though the clip was shot on a mobile device as it was being played on a TV. Since a tripod was not used during the filming, there is a lot of movement throughout the clip. Although the format appears to be the correct aspect ratio for the entire shot the actual TV is 4:3, which results in black area on the sides and bottom around the TV. The clip does not have a straight vertical line of reference and it also shows other contents of the room in the lower right hand comer of the shot. The audio quality was poor and needed to be resampled and boosted to import it with an acceptable audio level within the slide show. When the clip was added to the slideshow the editing program performed as expected. The program eliminated the movement in order to correct for the image not being shot square and the added background noise. As a result some of the heads were partially cut off. This is the best compromise achievable given the quality of the supplied video and is a result of the clip being shot incorrectly and not the fault of either the editing program or operator. The only alternative would have been to shrink the supplied video down to 50% of its original size. This would have produced a smaller edited image complete with room contents, black areas and movement. Other then the forenamed alternative, the supplied video clip cannot be corrected.” I’m sorry this client was unhappy. We offered her a reformat option that she refused.
