The most special and unique aspect of our wedding was the venue. We wanted a classic, rustic Montana outdoor wedding and I don't think we could have done better.
The property comes with a secret garden, creek, tons of rustic, old buildings, a...nd an orchard studded with fruit trees. Our photographer, who also happens to be our friend, had a field day on the property, and we walked away with so many beautiful photographs.
The property also has a small cottage/in-law, which made for a convenient place for getting ready.
We opted to use the front porch and stairs of the circa-1800s farmhouse for our ceremony. We thought the its red exterior would look really cute in our photos, and it saved us from having to find a decorative wedding alter, eliminating an item from our to-do list and sparing us the expense (those wedding altars are expensive!). However, there are a ton of other options on the property, and you could certainly set up an altar with the Bridger mountains as your backdrop.
The property is nestled quietly outside of Bozeman (but not too far from town) in the foothills of Ross Peak and the rest of the Bridgers. We had around fifty guests but you could certainly double or triple that with the amount of parking and open space. Tracee was incredibly accommodating and did whatever we needed to make our day perfect. We can't confirm she controlled the weather but we did get a sunny and 75 degree sunset reception.
