Hiring Lou was one of the best wedding-planning decisions we made. Not only did he handle all the usual DJ tasks of background music for the ceremony and dinner, handling the microphone for toasts, and keeping up a steady stream of dance music..., but he took care of so many little things during the course of the evening that made all the difference.
When the bride went through the buffet, who held her plate so she couldn't possibly spill on her dress? Lou did.
When we discovered that the venue didn't have an alcohol license, and therefore by law couldn't uncork the champagne bottles, who picked up the slack? Lou did.
When it started getting hot, who passed out our paper fans to the guests? Again, Lou.
In short, not only did he handle his own DJ work extremely well, but he went out of his way to do a lot of extra things that weren't really his job, simply because he wanted us to have a great wedding. Which we did.
