, are just as good as it was the night of our wedding. They were also easy to work with and their staff really made it a point to take care of my wife and I on our wedding day. They loaded up our plates with food and made sure we always had a drink in hand! Our tasting was so enjoyable and they really catered to our every need. We even asked for a slight change to one of their main dishes and they were more than happy to accommodate! Overall the service was just as amazing as the food!

Additionally, for some reason the menu at the head of the buffet listed 'mashed potatoes,' as a side, which we certainly didn't select for our Italian buffet. Many guests told me after the wedding they were confused and told by the caterers that they had just 'run out,' which obviously wasn't true since they were never selected in the first place!

On the eve of their wedding the catering company called the bride and said that even though “the final payment” was made they overlooked a charge of another $600. So on their wedding day, the groom (my son) had to contact the bank and get copies of bank statements. In the process the bride and groom received another phone call from the catering company at 2:00 saying they would not cater their wedding which began at 4:00 without this additional $600 that THEY OVERLOOKED! So my son made arrangements to pay the additional fee. You should be ashamed of yourself. How can this be a professional business?

But honestly, the best part was that they sent us home with ALL OF THE LEFTOVERS!!! In addition to the exceptional food, I want to shout out Hannah Fritz who was so wonderful to work with! We booked RMC in June 2019 for our October 2020 wedding but postponed it due to COVID to May 2021. Hannah was so obliging and understanding. She took a really stressful circumstance and made it stress-free.

Day of, they were spot on. My husband and I along with our parents were being catered to non-stop in a noninvasive way. When it started to snow during photos, Hannah was there with hot coffee. When signing our marriage license in the back room, a waiter was there with a personal plate of apps for us. She worked hand and hand with my day-of coordinator to ensure the day flowed smoothly and their staff day of was pleasant and professional. They were a great balance of service and value.

From beginning to end, Hannah made the catering experience entirely stress-free. She is exceptionally responsive, made excellent recommendations for food selections, worked collaboratively both with our day-of coordinator at Villa Parker and wtih us, and was super accommodating during the several months leading up to the wedding as plans changed due to COVID-19. The day of the wedding, Hannah and the staff at Rocky Mountain were incredible. The food was delicious, their timing worked out despite delays on my part (haha), and our guests raved about the quality of food and customer service. We would highly recommend Rocky Mountain Catering, and especially Hannah! :)

Beyond that, RMC handled all of the set-up and break-down exactly as they said, and we had nothing to worry about on our wedding day. r. She was so kind, helpful, friendly, and patient. She had lots of advice for us and was able to answer all of our questions. She was very thorough in all of the information she gave us, and she made us very excited for our wedding! She was always available through email and even text and helped us through different quotes/menus, changes, and even helped create our floor plan and update our Event Rents quote for the tables. Once we figured out our menu, we came in for a tasting. Hannah was able to serve us everything on our menu. We decided to have the black plastics for our appetizers and cake and for the seconds on the buffet. For our menu we chose the BBQ Buffet. We were still able to choose our sides, bread, and salad. Everything we tasted was so good, and far better than any wedding we had previously attended. The chicken was super tender, juicy, and had that hint of smokiness. The brisket was so tender and juicy and full of flavor. The pulled pork was also tender and full of flavor. We had potato salad, which was some of the best potato salad we have tasted, and green beans with onion, tomatoes, and bacon. The corn bread with the honey butter was so yummy together and went well with the BBQ. We decided at the end of the tasting to change one of the sides from mac and cheese to green beans. Hannah also attended our 30 day walkthrough with us to go over the plan and the timeline. The service that Rocky Mountain Catering provides is above and beyond what we expected. Not only do they provide and serve the food, but they help set up all the tables and place settings, the chairs at the ceremony and reception, and even have servers walking around to clear plates and cups. They cut and served the cake for us, as well as helped pass out the champagne toast. All of our guests were complimenting us on the food saying it is some of the best BBQ they have tasted and some of the best wedding food they have had! It tasted even better on the day of than it did at the tasting! They say that they make enough portions for every guest to have one of everything, and by the end there was no leftover brisket it was that good! Hannah and her head server were so nice and friendly day of, asking if we ever needed anything. We just had to sit and they served us both up a plate with a little of everything. At the end they packaged up all of the leftover food and cake for us. They also bring their own decorations that match with the theme of your wedding to put out on their buffet tables. Hannah and her team with RMC was able to work so well with our venue and other vendors for a seamless day! We are so happy we chose Rocky Mountain Catering for our big day and are so pleased with how everything turned out! Hannah is so amazing and we can’t thank her and everyone at RMC enough for their help and service! They are definitely invested in you as a couple and are willing to do whatever they can for your big day and your vision! They personally called each table up to the buffet that was encompassed by a tall plastic barrier. They had servers on the opposite side dish everyone’s plate with very generous portions. They had a server personally get mine and my husbands plates and passed out champagne for our champagne toast. They had an attendant present at the dessert station to grab desserts for the guests and they even cut our wedding cake to serve. We did the famous BBQ buffet and I can see why it’s famous. Our guests could not stop raving about how good the food was. From start to finish I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and service of RMC. I would highly recommend them for anyone needing a caterer in the Denver area!!

A planner's mother on the other hand is about 10x higher. After 2 failed tastings with 2 different caters I started to lose hope. I began dreaming I was taking calls with Elon Musk pricing out rockets to outer space so I could deliver the stars. Lucky for me the heavens opened and stars fell right out of the sky. Patrick, Robin, Katie and Katie were like guardian angels of culinary delight. Not only was the food delicious and checking off all the boxes, (vegan options, lite on seafood due to groom's allergy, fresh twist on classics, beautiful displays, customizability and the mother of the brides seal of approval) Robin surprised my bride with a full mock up including rentals from 3 vendors and flowers from Boulder at our tasting in their DTC kitchen. Patrick, executive chef and owner, was present at our tasting for feed back and was the man behind the grill in the kitchen they built out in the middle of no where on the wedding day. Fighting the elements while providing solutions for our lack of running water & electricity this team produced not only some of the best catered food I've had in my career but literally the tastiest salmon to have ever crossed my lips. When it comes to service Katie and Katie's attention to detail far surpassed our expectations. Everything was exactly how the bride imagined it would be. Weather you are looking for a plated 3 course, buffet, or family style cuisine at your wedding. I suggest you look no further than Rocky Mountain Catering. They are among the best in Colorado! Every service member was very kind and helpful and ensured that each guest had a great experience on our wedding day. The only critique I would note is that the bartenders opened nearly all of the cases of our beer/alcohol (even though other cases of the same choice were already opened and not empty) which made them unreturnable to our liquor vendor. Very small detail, but just something to keep in mind. Overall, Rocky Mountain did a fantastic job!

When I connected with her, she was honest that RMC was not experience with our menu's cuisine, but that they were 100% interested in going outside of their culinary box! After our tasting, we were able to hone the dishes and recipes used to get the flavors where we wanted them; and the chef was definitely very open and receptive to our feedback and input! The chef NAILED the food at the wedding! Our entire menu was an absolute hit! Many guests commented on how yummy they thought the appetizers and dinner were! Also, we opted to not have a wedding cake and went with RMC’s S’mores Bar instead- best decision ever. We personally love s’mores, but our guests were also huge fans of this fun interactive dessert station (our wedding was only adults). All the staff at the event were simply amazing. Katie was the head caterer and she blew our proverbial socks off. My husband and I were floored by her thoughtfulness throughout the cocktail hour and reception (during family photos Katie brought us ice cold water and some appetizers; when we sat down at our sweetheart table we had a plate of appetizers waiting for us; during dinner she asked us what we wanted to eat and then had plates of food brought to us so we didn’t have to go to the buffet). RMC is a well-oiled machine that knows how to make sure your wedding reception runs smoothly and everyone goes home well-fed and happy! Our reception was exactly what we hoped for and we owe that in large part to RMC and their incredible team! They take their job seriously and bring their passion for the industry into every thoughtful detail.

One of the bartenders was even diligent in making sure that my daughter was drinking enough water and she consistently filled up her soda glass - small details that we were very impressed with! And the food…..truly the best, guests complimented us on the incredible taste, quality and number of choices all night long. Every single server was great and treated each guest like their own family!! The staff did a fantastic job through the entire event, including carefully packing up our centerpieces and flowers, and they even made up a special plate of desserts for the bride and groom!! Linda made sure that everything was perfect and executed the event flawlessly! She and her staff went above and beyond in every way - including helping us pull off a spectacular sparkler exit, by making sure the guest’s sparklers were all lit at the same time! uring our final walkthrough at the venue, Linda attended to create our linen order and worked with Colorado Party Rentals to make sure we had the correct number of plates, utensils, napkins, table linens, and everything you could think of -- details I would be lost in making. - She packaged to-go boxes of leftovers for my husband and I to take with us as we left the venue! We definitely enjoyed those, as we were hungry again by the end of the night. - Linda truly considers the couple and how to make their day the best, down to the smallest detail. She arranged for my husband and my meals to be pre-plated at the reception, so while everyone was going through the buffet, we could have a moment to eat our dinner before we had to get up and visit with our guests. As a bride and groom, WE ATE! It was a miracle. - Finally, Linda was so flexible with our budget, for which I think many couples are so grateful for. We chose the Italian buffet, and it was DELICIOUS! All in all, I highly recommend.

Shaeley answered several of my panicked bride phone calls in the months leading up the wedding that weren’t fully her responsibility but she was so great at providing reassurance and guidance. The staff on the day of the wedding was also wonderful in bringing us a tray of apps and water during the photos and having bug spray for me when the mosquitoes came out. Upon our inquiry to the business they were very quick to rectify and alleviate our concerns. In the end Jolene was assigned to our wedding day. She was attentive to our needs and the needs of all of our guests. She personally made sure that the catering portion of our wedding went off without a hitch. Guests routinely commented on the quality of the food as well as the manner of service. The staff are friendly and all worked hard to ensure we had a perfect night. Bottom line: the food and service were both excellent. We cannot recommend them enough for your big day.

The whole process was completely stress-free. On the day of the wedding, the staff was extremely helpful and kind! They were professional and made sure we weren't forgotten, especially while we were taking photos while the rest of the guests enjoyed cocktail hour. They brought us and the bridal party drinks and food during photos and they continually checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we didn't need anything. We have received countless compliments from our guests about the entire wedding but so far pretty much everyone has commented on how amazing the food was! We highly recommend booking with Rocky Mountain Catering and we are actually trying to come up with another event that we could hire them for because they were that good!
