Jamie and Jason are the best!Reviewed on 2/07/2013 Sarah V
I loved working with these two during our GTKY session, and I'm very excited to work with them again on our wedding day! The images are just breathtaking.
Dream Come TrueReviewed on 10/18/2012 Cynthia A
My husband and I decided last minute to hire a videographer. We came across Rose Street Studio and watched their mini clips of other weddings and I cried every time. I am not a cryer usually and the fact that I cried my eyes out each time w/o knowing the couples made me realize Jason and Jaime were the ones for us! Their work is spectacular and words cannot express the final result. It is the most special and heart warming thing to watch. They have an eye on exactly what to capture from that day to make it an everlasting memory. I was nervous about our interview and even more nervous about cameras being around us all day but both of them always made us feel at ease and never was there an uncomfortable moment. It was like they were never there! Their kindness and professionalism was one of a kind and cannot thank them enough! I HIGHLY recommend Rose Street Studio for any of your wedding needs!
One of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding!Reviewed on 1/15/2012 Tami R
We used Rose Street Studio for our wedding videography. They showed up early, stayed late, and accommodated our many location changes! From our initial email to following up several times after the wedding, communication was always spectacular and something you can tell is important to them. From doing a pre-inventory of each detail we wanted captured, to getting to know us and our style, and making sure the songs we loved fit just right.. the video was catered and made to fit us and our personalities. The video came out perfect, and still makes me tear up each time I watch it. The investment was priceless. The day went by so quickly, and add in the nerves, and it's all just a blur, so being able to slow it down and watch and re-live the day is such a blessing. And more so to me, because the video featured a very special moment between my grandmother and I, and our wedding was the last time she and I were together before she became very ill. So thank you Jason and Jaime, for more than you'll ever know! We will cherish it forever. Our video- http://vimeo.com/27305129
Made our wedding day SUPER SMOOTHReviewed on 10/09/2011 Lyncea M
Jaime and Jason were beyond a pleasure to work with on our wedding day. Prior to wedding day, she was eager to learn more about us and our personalities. Day of, they were there on time and got the job DONE, snapping pictures left and right. I loved that Jaime focused on the "set-up" shots, while Jason focused on getting more of the "behind-the-scene"/ candids. The best thing about them, I have to say, is the way they helped regulate time. I have a huge family and everyone wanted to take pictures with us. Jaime regulated where we went (during "picture rounds time"), how long we were there, and ushered us along to the next table. She even said, "this way we get you the shots we need without wasting time, and your guests get to blame ME for that, not you (the bride and groom)." As the night drew to a close they had no hesitation when we asked them for an extra hour of photography. They took all our ideas and concerns to heart, and captured all the shots we had initially mentioned as being important to us. She emailed us shortly after the event, letting us know she was working on the pictures. It was nice being kept in the loop. Shortly after we saw a WONDERFUL slideshow of the highlights to music - i cried. The pictures were done so artistically and beautifully, the lighting was soft and perfect, and they captured all the moments we wanted - the cake, us getting ready, the rings, grandma smiling with the ring bearer, etc. The pictures were easy to order, and i got to share the slideshow and the website with all the pictures to all my friends and family. Best of all, shortly after we received the digital negatives, so we'll always be able to look back on our amazing day!
We LOVE our pictures!!!Reviewed on 10/08/2011 rachel b
My husband and I eloped to Tahoe from NJ to get married. We decided the last minute to have some pictures taken of our day. We found Rose Street online and were so happy with our initial communication. Jamie was friendly and quick to answer all of our questions. Best of all, she and Jason were available to fit us in, with only 5 days notice! The day of our wedding came and Jamie and Jason were there an hour before us. We even had a glitch with the pier location, but they packed up the equipment and followed us to a new one. Their flexibility and understanding made a potential stressful situation an easy one. Our ceremony only lasted an hour, but Jamie and Jason managed to capture every moment. They mainly took candid shots, which came out beautifully. They both have such an amazing artistic eye and were really able to tell a story with the progression of pictures. The few posed shots we did were wonderful too. It was everything we wanted!!
So talented!Reviewed on 10/07/2011 Leah N
A few months before our wedding we decided that we needed a video to document our day. We searched high and low to find a talented videographer in the Lake Tahoe area. We stumbled upon Rose Street and they offered everything that we were looking for: a journalistic/cinematography style that was classy and anything but cheesy. Jason worked with us weeks before the wedding to get to know us as a couple. He also surprised us by asking to attend our rehearsal (to get to know the venue) and asking to film our reveal (not included in our wedding video package). We could immediately tell that Rose Street was going to produce a quality film and really took pride in their work. Jason and another employee filmed our reveal, ceremony, and reception. The final product is beyond amazing! Rose Street captured our day so perfectly and even included music that was special to us as a couple. If you think that a wedding film is unnecessary, think again. Choose Rose Street and know that you will be getting a wedding keepsake that will perfectly capture your big day.
From a Guys PerspectiveReviewed on 9/07/2011 Brock F
My fiancee and I took a family vacation out to Lake Tahoe and decided since it was beautiful to get our engagement photos done. My fiancee found Jamie and we started shooting. Neither of us had taken pictures like this before and had no idea how we were supposed to "pose" or "act" during the entire time, but thankfully as awkward as we initially felt, Jamie was able to take tons of extremely cool/beautiful/amazing pictures. When we saw the results of her work, I was stunned at how well the turned out. When I showed them to my family they all responded by saying they were the best engagement photo's they had ever seen. I agree. Jamie will forever be appreciated by us for how well they turned out and from my family so they can have a keepsake forever. I will certainly recommend her to anyone!
Great photos, great serviceReviewed on 9/06/2011 Melanie C
Jaime and her boyfriend Jason were wonderful. They have taken beautiful photos and were great to communicate with. Jaime has a great attention to detail and all of our guests enjoyed the Photo Booth area!! (They brought along an extra helper, Justin, and threw him in for free). They came all the way from SF to Point Arena/Manchester overnight (a 4 hour drive) and shot all the next day. It was incredible. Thanks for going above and beyond!
Great Videographer and Photo BoothReviewed on 7/19/2011 Linda K
As a last minute addition, my husband and I decided to hire Rose Street Studio for their videography and the Super Funtime Photobooth. Luckily our DJ recommended Rose Street Studios and we could not be happier with them. Both Jason and Jaime were easy to work with and answered our millions of questions without making us feel like we were a bother. We have yet to receive the video, but can only imagine it will be nothing but the best...as seen on their website! The photo booth was also a HUGE hit! It is more of a studio style set up as opposed to the old school photo booths. They bring props for guests to use and take both candid and portrait shots. This was a huge hit with our guests and it allowed my husband and I to get even more photos/memories from such a great night!

Jaime Emery with Rose Steet Studio is amazing!! We had a wonderful engagement session with her before our special day and there aren't words for some of the shots she captured. We choose her because she shoots photojournalistic style, no posed photographs, but the moment. That was very important to us. Not to sound cheesy but you can see and feel our love for one another in the pictures. My parents are old school and did want the posed portraits and she was totally cool with that. She is very professional and we definitely think highly of her.
a work of art!Reviewed on 7/07/2011 Shelley G
We couldnt be happier with our photographer! We were recomended the photographer by a friend who is a wedding planner in the Tahoe area and when we looked at the website we knew that they were the photographers we wanted to document our special day! They are friendly and great to work with!! They have the best quality at a reasonably price (perfect for this economy and a wedding on a budget).
Simply Outstanding!!Reviewed on 2/16/2011 Katie D
From my first inquiry with Rose Street Studio they have been caring, professional, accommodating, friendly and a real pleasure to work with. They traveled to San Diego for us, were flexible when the weather turned and managed to capture the overall vision and mood of the day in a dreamy yet real way. I love Jaime's photo journalistic style and creative eye and knew she would do a great job but she definitely exceeded our expectations. The day of she was low key, calm and made us feel so comfortable. The day was magical and to see the sentiment and special moments captured in such a natural, creative way truly brings the feelings and special memories right back. She managed to capture all those special moments from before the wedding to after including family, friends and intimate moments with my husband and I. You have to get the video as well, you won't be sorry. I had envisioned this cheesy wedding video thinking it was something we had to have but would maybe break out a few times in our life to bore our kids with. Boy was I wrong. Jason has a great artistic eye as well and creates the video like a movie. We hardly knew he was there but are so glad he was! We are thrilled with the end product and love being able to share the short clip via email and facebook. We also choose to have a photo booth at our reception which turned out to be such a hit! The photos are hilarious, fun, classic and are some of my favorite photos from the wedding. We are going to use these photos as our guest book. Also, the black and white conversion is excellent! It has been so fun working with Rose Street Studio, I can not say enough good things about them!
Could not be HAPPIER!!!Reviewed on 11/19/2010 Kera L
Jamie & Jason were amazing. I requested their help 1-2 weeks prior to the event & they met & exceeded all expectations. We met the day prior on location. They then took the time & scouted the entire surrounding area. In which they found several amazing locations for shots. Needless to say they made me & my wedding look far more beautiful than what it was; a simple backyard wedding for a simple girl. Bottom line fair price for exceptional work & beautiful photos to remember your special day. You couldn't ask for anything better!!!!!!
