nd beyond anything I could have asked for. I know hosting an Indian wedding can be overwhelming (food, events and guest number) but Ann stayed on top of everything to make my big day dream come true. We had both our ceremony and reception in the Legends Ballroom. They partitioned the room for the ceremony to give an intimate feel for the 250 guests... and then opened the room up for the reception (appx 500 guests). Everything was perfect! The food & drink minimum is a bit pricey but it's DEFINITELY worth it! If you're looking for a luxury venue for your big day call Royal Sonesta and ask to speak with Ann Massey. I highly recommend her and the venue!

What do you do when you bring your future father-in-law to his hotel days before the wedding and they tell you that the room the confirmed for him the day before is not available? You freak out! But that's ok, it is just for one night, since to...

morrow they have a room for him... Wrong, since tomorrow your mother-in-law (from who he is divorced) will get here too! Countless number of mistakes... To compensate us, they offered us free parking for all the guests, but ended up charging for all the parking, and even charged my MIL who didn't even rent a car. They also charged the many toasts made in our honor onto OUR room (right...) I will end by saying that our room was free for our wedding night (again as a compensation for the mistakes I just mentioned) but then tried to charge our card which was declined as I didn't have enough money on that one and then exchanged insulting emails between members of the staff but accidentally kept me on the recepient list. Probably a good place when they don't mess up but for this one wedding they really didn't do a good job...

We utilized both ballrooms for my wedding on different nights. The smaller one (Discovery) has a much more intimate feel. The larger one (Legends) was able to accommodate my 500+ guests comfortably with a dance floor. The staff worked hard. We ...

were able to bring in outside catering. One of my concerns was that I was told we could use either ballroom on night 2 of my wedding, only to find out the 2nd ballroom was rented out one month before my wedding. This created a big problem because I planned my ceremony for that ballroom. Even worse, guests from that party kept coming over to our event. Secondly, there isn't a nice outdoor space, so you miss out on a natural background for photos.
