Rachel did a fantastic job on my makeup and made me look stunning on my wedding day. My makeup looked very natural and I still looked like myself. I didn't even have a trial with her but after reading all the positive reviews I was confident in her work and on the day of my wedding she delivered. She arrived promptly at 10a like she stated she would and was very easy to talk to. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my eyes to look since I wanted them to stand out as that is my best feature. RS Makeup Artistry did both hair and makeup for myself and my entire bridal party for my wedding. That was about 9 people all together- not an easy feat! Rachel and Jackie were fantastic- they made everything fun, and everyone was done on time. With 9 people getting done, I thought we would be rushed, but that was not the case at all. Rachel put together a great schedule so everyone was in the right place at the right time. Besides the logistics...the hair and makeup came out amazing! We got so many compliments (even from the family hair dressers who we snubbed to go with RS). I would definitely recommend hiring this team for a wedding. Excellent quality and excellent value for the money.

I found Rachel less than a month before my wedding day after having 2 other makeup trials with "big city" makeup artists that did not go very well. I was very nervous but Rachel made me feel comfortable from the start. She was SO incredibly easy to work with and extremely professional. Rachel even accommodated and extra bridesmaid the day of, plus doing another bridesmaid's lashes. In total she did 8 (opinionated!) ladies' makeup, including the mother of the bride and groom, and each one of them looked stunning. I wear makeup often but never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. Can't thank Rachel enough - I highly recommend her, coming from someone who has had lots of difficulty finding a makeup artist!

Rachel S. was absolutely amazing! We did a trial first before the wedding on August 2013 and it was great. I knew I could trust Rachel to bring her expertise to have me look my best. She immediately put me at ease and she has amazing hands. I was honestly stunned when I looked in the mirror on my wedding day. The makeup was absolutely phenomenal. I got compliments all day long. The airbrushing was flawless. I felt like a princess. My baby shower is coming up and I am treating myself to amazing makeup (again) by Rachel! :)

RS makeup artistry was absolutely amazing. Rachel was phenomenal to work with and exemplified the utmost professionalism. Being a bride that does not usually wear any makeup, I had no idea what I wanted to do for my wedding. She gave me great advice and I really trusted everything she said. My trial was amazing and Rachel helped me feel relaxed and comfortable. For the day of, she arrived early, not even on time :) and was able to fit in all of my bridal party without feeling rushed. All of the girls, plus myself absolutely LOVED the way our makeup came out. Not only did she help me look great, but she helped me feel relaxed for the fact that everyone was so well taken care of. I also have a sister with special needs and Rachel did an amazing job at helping her and making her look/feel like a princess for my big day!! Highly recommended!!

Rachel did my makeup for my wedding. She was very responsive over email, great about answering my questions, and very professional. She was attentive to my needs and what I was looking for in my make-up look. She was lovely to work with - very calm, gentle, and patient. She used excellent products (such as Bare Minerals) and was also flexible with me bringing in my own items.

Jeanie did an awesome job she was very patient for the trial to get the right colors and also the day of the wedding. I would definitely use her again for any major event. She did me the bride and the maid of honor. Great job

Excellent experience. Rachel has the largest selection of makeup from eyeshadow to foundation. She also does air brushing!!! She did a great job really listening to what I wanted, and making me feel beautiful. Her services are extremely convenient, offering both hair and makeup should you need both. I was able to get ready in the comfort of my own home, making the process much smoother than if I were to havr to travel to a salon. I would reccommend her to anyone and everyone. Hi everyone, I just wanted to say that Rachael and Jackie did an unbelievable job on my hair and makeup, they were professional to work with and would highly recommend them. Rachel & Jackie are amazing! They were punctual and very friendly as if we have known each other for years. Rachel was able to guide me to use certain products to make my hair feeling the best it ever has. they worked as a great team during my trial and worked around my likes and dislikes. Rachel and Jeannie from RS Artistry were nothing short of fabulous in every way!! From my first interaction with Rachel, I felt confident that this would be a wonderful experience. They did an amazing job on 11 people for my daughter's wedding. Everyone looked amazing. Some people had air brush makeup and some had the traditional makeup. Both looked amazing. The makeup looked natural. Everyone was thrilled with how their makeup came out! Besides being talented makeup artists, they were timely, responsible, very pleasant and just made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. I thought it might be a hectic morning with 11 women to get done, but it was quite the opposite- relaxing and ran very smoothly!! I highly recommend RS Artistry. You will not be disappointed!!

I found Rachel from RS Makeup Artistry after she was recommended by a coworker of mine. I hadn't heard from the makeup artist I originally booked, and I had been trying to contact the woman for two weeks prior to my wedding!!! I checked out Rachel's work on her website and Facebook and absolutely LOVED it all, so I called her right away and asked if she would be available. She had another client booked on my wedding day, but she was sweet enough to make time for me in her schedule. She came over very early, and since I didn't have a trial with her I was kind of nervous... but we spoke for 10 minutes or so about what I wanted (I wanted a very natural looking, dewy complexion with a beachy kind of look) and she NAILED IT. She did a gorgeous gold/bronze eye color and a coral/pink lip, and she contoured my face - I looked 10 pounds lighter and I felt like a celebrity! I actually cried after because I was so stressed about everything and the makeup didn't even come off !! It lasted all day outside through sun and sweat and I got tons of compliments on my skin because of the airbrush makeup - it really is so flawless and when Rachel told me it was waterproof I had to do it. She was SO sweet to work with, patient, and she has the most amazing variety of cosmetics I've ever seen in my life!!!! I really appreciated her squeezing me in that day, I don't think most people would have!! And I am terrible at doing my own makeup, and I would have scrambled to find some mediocre makeup artist to do my wedding day makeup if I didn't book her. I would DEFINITELY recommend her to any and every one who needs makeup for any event!! I will definitely be using her again for events in the future :)

Rachel of RS Makeup Artistry does amazing work. I was recently a bridesmaid in a wedding, and booked Rachel to do my makeup. I loved how natural but beautiful she made me look and feel. I received many compliments from friendson how great my makeup looked! Rachel has also done my makeup for fitness competitions, photoshoots, and other special occasions. She is great at what she does. Shetruly knows how to make a woman look flawless and feel beautiful.

Rachel was a wonderful make up artist - she is very professional and highly talented. She showed up on time, completed everyone's make up efficiently and everyone loved the result. My bridesmaids are very different and each appreciated the result. I would recommend Rachel to others. I would also recommend her hair style counter part (Jackie) - she did an equally wonderful job with each of our hairs. As an aside, they also happen to be wonderful, kind people.

WOW! That's all I have to say about Rachel & Jacki! They are an incredibly talented team. They did my hair & makeup for my July 27th wedding in Brooklyn. The overall look came out wonderful - very natural and not over done at all. I received numerous comments on my hair (the modified braid) and very natural looking makeup. My make-up came out incredible for my wedding day (If i do say so myself)!!!! I had the airbrush make-up done, and I had a ton of compliments on it. It seriously looked flawless, and was very light-weight! It did not budge for the entire day! Rachel did a wonderful job on not only me, but all of the girls in my bridal party. Rachel and Jackie were a fabulous team. They did hair and make-up for myself, 7 bridesmaids and my mother-in-law and everything went off without a hitch. My make-up was flawless all day and night and Rachel was really easy to work with. I was nervous at first because usually I don't wear that much make-up AND my husband is one of those au natural guys that loves when I don't wear make-up (weird I know!) so I wanted a good balance of looking myself as well as looking great in pictures. Once I had my make-up trial I no longer had any worries because I knew I was in good hands. I also must say thanks to Rachel's expertise on timing she made sure we started early so that we had enough buffer time between each person to be ready with time to spare and planned in extra time because there was snow predicted for the wedding day. Also - Jackie was fab, although she didn't do my hair personally (my father is a hair stylist so he did the honors) everyone looked beautiful and she was lovely to chat with all morning. I also liked that she brought a little "look-book" with her because I can remember from other weddings I have been in that sometimes I am really bad at deciding in advance of how to do my hair and I saw my bridesmaids taking a look and using some of those photos as well so that was helpful.

Rachel was awesome! She did you great job on me and all the girls. She did exactly what everyone asked for she listened to what everyone wanted instead of telling us what we should do. So sweet and very professional. I would totally recommend working with her.

I used this vendor on my wedding day and I could not have been happier!! She truly listened to everything that I wanted and my makeup came out unbelievable. My bridesmaids and my mom absolutely loved her too!! She came on time to my apartment the day of my wedding and was completely prepared. She has a huge makeup case that would suite the needs/goals of any bride! I really love how she listened to what I wanted. Some of these vendors do what they think looks good, but this vendor took the time to listen and write down how I wanted my makeup done that day! On a morning where I was excited and nervous, it was comforting to know that I didn't need to stress about my makeup! This vendor is very talented. I would definitely use her again, and I would certainly recommend her to others!

I used this vendor for my wedding and I am so glad I did. No other makeup artist was able to get that I wanted brighter colors and not nude or natural looking makeup! Everything about my makeup was wonderful from the trial to the wedding day (even though I changed my mind closer to the wedding and wanted a completely different look than what we achieved in the trial, Rachel's talents shined through and she made me look great!). My bridesmaids looked amazing and the makeup lasted all night! I wanted a bollywood/arabic kind of flair to the makeup and she knew exactly what I was talking about. She is so talented and sweet and very well stocked (her makeup case is so cool!). I am so happy I chose her for my wedding!!
