The hardest thing will be choosing which romantic setting to host your celebration.
The Overlook at Sandestin. The newest of the spaces at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, the Overlook works well for smaller celebrations such as rehearsal dinners, bridesmaid brunches and farewell breakfasts. This outdoor space can host up to 50 guests for a cocktail reception.
Bayside Ballroom and Patio. The Bayside Ballroom is an elegant 4,000-square-foot room that can host a party of up to 150 guests for a seated dinner and dancing. It opens onto the Patio, which offers phenomenal views of Choctawhatchee Bay and works well for a ceremony or cocktail area.
Azalea Ballroom and Foyer. For receptions of up to 200 guests, the Azalea Ballroom and Foyer is an ideal choice for couples looking for a classic setting. Its convenient location at the Baytowne Convention Center is just a short walk from the Grand Lawn, where many larger ceremonies are held.
Bayview Room and Terrace. Smaller events of up to 80 people can be hosted in this space which has an airy, modern feel. The room is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows and has lovely views of the bay. It opens onto the terrace, which is often used for ceremonies before receptions in the Bayview Room. The terrace makes an elegant location for an intimate ceremony with its views and refreshing bay breezes.
The Beach. A beach destination wedding calls for a prime ceremony spot and Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort definitely has it. Imagine exchanging vows in the soft white sand at sunset with the sound of waves rolling in as your background music; or having a relaxing after-party on the beach under the stars. The possibilities here are endless.
The Beach Club. For a really tropical vibe, The Beach Club’s poolside receptions are an excellent choice. The space can accommodate up to 150 people and its beautiful pool just a few steps from the beach is lined with palm trees and offers spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico.
Burnt Pine Clubhouse. This is a versatile space for both large and small events. The Burnt Pine Clubhouse is located in the exclusive neighborhood of Burnt Pine. The main dining area can seat up to 200 people and has floor-to-ceiling windows for lots of natural light. A beautiful chandelier is the centerpiece of this room, giving it a classy, modern feel.
The Grand Lawn. Couples looking for a romantic garden-styled space for their wedding will love the Grand Lawn at The Grand Sandestin, which can also accommodate out-of-town guests. Up to 500 people can be hosted on the Grand Lawn for a ceremony or reception.
Linkside Ballroom. This space offers a classic golf clubhouse venue for those who want to celebrate and have great views of a golf course. The modern, clean lines of the Linkside Ballroom make it easy to bring in personalized colors and themes. It can host up to 250 guests for a reception.
The Magnolia Ballroom and Foyer. Large, formal affairs call for a very elegant space. The Magnolia Ballroom and Foyer can accommodate up to 500 guests. The impressive doors, upscale lighting and sophisticated decor make this ballroom a stunning choice for high-end events.

We had our wedding 3/25/17 at Sandestin. We originally had planned for it to be outside, but with Florida weather, we had to change it to an inside venue for the ceremony with the reception still held at the beautiful Bayview Room and Terrace. The wedding coordinator, Mary-Katherine Owen, truly saved the day and turned our last minute inside wedding, into the most beautiful and magical indoor/outdoor covered patio fairytale. The resort was the perfect place for our families and friends to spend the weekend hanging out at the beach, having a bonfire on the beach with s'mores and pizza, shopping, and even going out with out friends. We had people from all over the world, everywhere and all ages rom Louisiana all the way to England and Sweden, and all had a wonderful time. Mary-Katherine made our day and week relaxing, exciting, fun, magical, special, and even better than we ever thought our wedding would be. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We used Sandestin for catering as well, and it was truly the best food our family and friends had ever had. Not only was the resort beautiful, there were so many activities for everyone, and transportation provided within the resort for our guests without cars. We could not be happier with our choice for our special day.
Perfect Wedding on the Beach and Reception at Burnt PineReviewed on 10/12/2014 Taylor W
We had our wedding at the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort in September 2014. The resort property is beautiful. The beach is gorgeous. The rooms were lovely. The weather was great. The service was impeccable. We can't say enough about how professional and accommodating the staff was. All 5 events we had at the property over the weekend were incredible. Our resort event coordinator paid attention to every last detail, ensuring that everything went off without a hitch and exactly as planned. Thanks to her, our big day was absolutely perfect. She and the rest of the resort staff really went above and beyond the entire weekend. All of guests (many of whom are very well traveled) kept telling us how impressed they were with the accommodations, level of service received, and activities (for adults and kids) available on property. We couldn't have selected a better place to have our wedding! We will definitely be coming back to enjoy the property many times!!!

Beautiful wedding and vacation!Reviewed on 5/22/2014 Jennifer M
We had our wedding at the Sandestin Resort – Bayview Room and Terrace on 5/10/14 and it was amazing! Our ceremony and cocktail hour were held on the terrace and our reception was in the Bayview room. We had approx. 70 guests. Everything was beautiful. The food was wonderful. Our guests had an amazing time. There is so much to do at the resort that it was a special vacation for us, our family and friends. This was a destination wedding so after visiting in 4/13 and booking the venue, we did not return until the week of the wedding. Dayley Gunnells was our Special Events Manager at Sandestin. She was extremely helpful through the entire planning process. She provided a preferred vendors list for DJ, flowers, etc. and we were extremely happy with all of our vendors. From group rates for our guests to exploring options for our next day brunch, Dayley helped with every detail in a timely manner. As a destination bride, I can attest that you will get all the help you need in the planning process. We can't wait to return to the Sandestin Resort. Thank you!

Great ResortReviewed on 9/16/2013 Barbara A
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort provided an amazing venue for our wedding. It was at their Terrance and Bayview Room and it could have 100 people, but we only had 70. The view of the bay was amazing for the ceremony and for the reception it was inside. The coordinator was prompt and very detailed to all of our needs. The catering was very good and we had amazing time. I completely recommend looking into the resort, there is so much to do while on vacation for the wedding. The resort has a bay area, beach area, golf are and so many activities. Ours was a destination wedding and we choosed Sandestin. Our family and friends loved it as well.

Great Venue for a Destination WeddingReviewed on 8/23/2012 Caitlin C
My experience with this venue was wonderful. I had my wedding ceremony on the beach and the reception at the Finz Restaurant. Our coordinator, Barbara Miller, was very good at keeping us organized and on schedule with the planning. The beach was beautiful and thankfully no rain! The reception was perfect for a guest list of about 50 people. And I just happen to love that other beach goers were able to watch my wedding. They cheered louder than my family I think.
Ceremony and Reception at the Bayview TerraceReviewed on 7/17/2012 Johnita F
Lovely spot, Barbara was very helpful! Food was great!! Make sure to ask for waiver for any extra food that you might want to take home.
My Dream Wedding!Reviewed on 7/02/2012 Erin O
We held our ceremony on the beach, which was breathtakingly beautiful! Since the resort is a gated community and the beaches are private, it wasn't very crowded. The beautiful white sand and blue water made for incredibly photos and video. They included folding white chairs, a table for our sand ceremony, and four bamboo posts (you have to have someone decorate the bamboo posts for you). Our reception was held immediately after in the Finz Loft. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue! The Loft was amazing. It had a great view of the beach, was decorated gorgeously, and made for a perfect reception. It is perfect for couples that are sick of the traditional reception venues in ballrooms and such and want something unique. This was perfect for our group that was under 50 people. The staff who worked our reception were fabulous! LOVED our bartender! Food was also delicious :)
Beautiful Bayview room and terraceReviewed on 6/07/2012 Diana A
The Bayview room and terrace was an absolutely beautiful venue. During our ceremony there were fish jumping out of the bay, it was too cool! Our cocktail hour was held outside on terrace and reception indoors. My only complaint was the waitstaff delivered the wrong food to a few of my guests.
SandestinReviewed on 11/06/2011 Lindsey L
This place was absolutely beautiful and gave all of my guests lots of lodging options. Everyone who worked with the Sandestin was overall pretty friendly and accomodating. The only downfalls were the high costs.
great place, not so great staff.Reviewed on 5/29/2011 Libby C
the area and the grounds are AWESOME! but EVERYTHING we did was over priced, constantly had to check what they were charging us and it was ALWAYS OVER! we'll put it this was just on food alone, our first bill was $23,000 and after making them fix everything they had over charged us for... it ended up being $13,000. thats a HUGE difference.(example, we had an open bar the whole time so we wanted regular liquor and naturally they slipped in the premium prices) just watch them. the only other problem we had was the way the "wedding coordinator" made me feel. the whole time she was basically tell me in a "nice" way that i had a cheap wedding.... including our wedding bands our total cost was over $100,000!! and she was making me feel cheap about EVERYTHING! if you have tougher skin then me and want a pretty venue to get married at Sandestin was great... you just have to be very tough with them
Beautiful venueReviewed on 5/06/2011 Katie W
The venue was beautiful. The planning was very helpful and Barbara was patient as we went over every detail. She did a great job of giving her input and making it a great day. If you're not using a wedding coordinator, you'll hear about it. I was offended that even after my beautiful wedding a comment was made that she always suggests brides use at least a day of coordinator. There is also a swap of contact person for the day of the event, which was a bit of a shock to me as it was not addressed up front. The view over the bay (we were at the Bayside Inn) was breath-taking and our photos turned out gorgeous. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it! It's definitely a day we'll look back on with fond memories for all of our life.
Sandestin Hilton was greatReviewed on 10/21/2010 Hadley A
