We recently toured Sea Cliff Manor and were impressed by its charming atmosphere and stunning views. Jeff who provided the tour was so personable and offered tremendous wedding advice as this was the first place we had ever toured. Every tour that followed we found ourselves comparing back to Sea Cliff Manor. However, we ultimately decided on a different venue due to distance. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking - truly a lovely and unique option with an impeccable team.
We had my daughters wedding here on October 5th,2024.
It was perfect.
There was nothing that could have been done better.
The venue itself was beautiful. We were lucky to have an absolutely beautiful day weather wise. The location and venue were elegant and the staff was AMAZING.
The rooms offered for bride and groom to get ready were spacious. Everything we needed for the bride was in the room.
The food was fantastic. I have never been to a wedding where a guest ordered the beef and it came out medium rare. The two chefs are from the culinary institute and it was evident. Rave reviews from all my guests. I personally didn't get to eat at the cocktail hour, but my guest reviews were all top marks.
My coordinator was Ian and he did an outstanding job. He was calm, organized and caring. He prepared us for the ceremony and the introductions. His attention to detail during the entire affair made the wedding that I had always dreamed of for my daughter.
Camille was my daughters bridal attendant. She was amazing. She made sure both bride and groom ate, at both the cocktail hour and the dinner. She made sure they had everything they needed. Worth her weight in gold.
When we originally met for the consultation we were given referrals to amazing vendors.
This was not a wedding factory. This was a unique and elegant venue that really cared about every aspect of their craft.
Thank you Nick, Ian, Camille and every single person in the staff for making our dreams become a reality
PS feedback from guests... best wedding I've ever been to.
I have officially graduated from being a bride at Sea Cliff Manor on 9/22/24. I don't even know where to begin, from the moment my husband and I went to tour the venue to the moment we left our wedding night, everything was absolutely perfect. The staff there, Ian, Nick, Camille, Donna, Josh..every peson was amazing to work with. Communication throughout the planning process was flawless, every email I sent was answered within 24 hours. Everyone was so welcoming and made you feel like family. I am so sad for everything to be over! The wedding day, was so smooth, everything was perfect. There was no issues, no mistakes, nothing. I just truly can't thank Sea Cliff enough for everything they have done for me to make sure my special day was so special. If you're looking for a wedding venue that cares and treats you and your husband like royalty leading up to and on your wedding day, look no further.
Any questions?
Sea Cliff Manor made our wedding truly unforgettable. From the start, Nick and Ian were attentive, flexible, and easy to work with, listening carefully to every detail we wanted for our special day. Ian's attention to the finer points ensured that nothing was overlooked. He helped create a room that felt even more welcoming and beautiful than we could have imagined. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the stunning cocktail hour space and the amazing food. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making everyone feel at ease. Each step of the process, from planning to the big day, was seamless and enjoyable. Sea Cliff Manor exceeded our expectations and made the entire experience a joy from beginning to end.
To the entire staff of Sea Cliff Manor, THANK YOU!!! We are still not over our wedding day, it was beyond perfect and we wish we could relive it over and over and over again!! The staff, the food, the service, the property, the views, we have nothing but amazing things to say and memories that we will cherish forever.
To Ian- just WOW!! I don’t know if we will ever have the proper words to say to thank you for going ABOVE and BEYOND for us. You truly are the kindest soul with the best heart and intentions. I felt like it was our wedding 😂 you cared so much about every little annoying detail I wanted to do and for everything to be as perfect as can be. The day was PERFECT and we owe it all to you! You were so trusting, I didn’t even think twice about anything going wrong, you took all of the stress off us and made the day run as smooth as can be. Everyone has nothing but amazing things to say about the wedding and the venue and I think that’s pretty incredible. You and the staff deserve to know just how amazing you all are. We are so beyond happy with everything and wish we could do it all over again and again and again!! Thank you so very much!!!!
If I could give SCM more than 5 stars, I would. The venue is beautiful, the food is incredible and the team is elite. Ian took care of our day like it was his own and saw to every detail. He even brought out limoncello shots at the end and boxed up extra meals and cake for us to take home. The absolute best decision we made for our wedding.
Sea Cliff Manor for our wedding was absolutely perfect. From the beginning, they were so welcoming, warm, professional, friendly, and easy going. Ian, Donna, Camille, and the rest of the staff were so amazing and the best to work with to help us have the best wedding ever.
We got so many compliments on how amazing the wedding was from so many guests. The garden for the cocktail hour was in full bloom and so perfect. The speakeasy is such a cool touch. The food was sublime. Having the dance floor a little separate from the dining area but still being able to see everything on the dance floor worked so well.
Really was the perfect venue for our day. Would highly recommend.
The best decision I ever made was having our wedding at Sea Cliff Manor. From day one I KNEW we made the right choice. The entire staff (nick, Ian, Donna, Camille) were amazing to work with and answered all questions timely leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding, SCM truly took care of everything and I didn’t stress out once because we were in such good hands. From Ian helping with the decor and Camille being by my side all day, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The food was AMAZING. Every single thing we had during cocktail hour and dinner was soooo good. Our guests kept telling us all night how good the food was! I truly would not change a single thing about our wedding. Sea Cliff manor is perfect!!
I don't have enough great things to say about the Sea Cliff Manor! We just got married there this past Friday, and things could not have been more perfect. Our guests are still raving about all of the little details. It was a game day decision to have the cocktail hour outside because the weather had been iffy in the forecast. I am beyond happy that we did because it was so special! The food is incredible on the service is top notch. We have received so many follow-up phone calls and text messages from our guests, talking about how perfect the Sea Cliff Manor was. Do not hesitate to book this as your wedding venue!!
There are not enough words for how wonderful our wedding at Sea Cliff was and how the entire staff went above and beyond, not only the day of but all the weeks leading up to it. The hype about Ian is so real, he kept my stress levels down and helped with anything and everything. We last minute had to move the ceremony indoors to some heavy rain coming through and he and the staff moved swiftly and set up the indoor ceremony space so beautifully a half hour before guests arrived. Daniela was my bridal attendant and she was an absolute angel. She was my right hand all day and was so helpful from the second I got off the bus and arrived at the venue. My brother in law ripped his pants before the ceremony and she spent 30+ minutes sewing them back together. I would not change a single thing about the day and that was all because of the entire staff at Sea Cliff. All the guests raved about the food and flow of the evening, and we all had a blast. My husband and I could not recommend Sea Cliff more, you're in GREAT hands if you book your wedding here!
Sea cliff was absolutely amazing!!! The staff is so sweet & makes everything as easy & stress free as possible! The food is AMAZING, everyone was so impressed that we had our engaged friends book the next day. Other guests are looking to include sea cliff manor in the future as well, because of how stunning it is!
We got married on the coldest day of the year in January but you would have never known because it was so nice & toasty inside.
Ian really helped with some great recommendations like Kodak cameras that were a huge hit, & he also helped us with our menu as to what everyone enjoys!
Camille was a huge help & made sure we ate, drank, & took care of me with everything!!!!!
I would get married there again a million times over again!
I truly can’t say enough good things about Sea Cliff Manor. We chose this venue when we were living in Virginia, so we did a virtual tour and even through Zoom, Nick immediately made us feel like family. They were so helpful and responsive in answering all of our questions throughout the process when we asked about different logistics in the event space. The bridal suite and groomsmen suite were updated maybe a month or so before our wedding and looked absolutely stunning for pictures. Ian, the maitre’d, was INCREDIBLE and helped us with so many specifics. He called to check in the week of the wedding just to see how I was feeling and if there was anything he could do, and the day of the wedding was so helpful and just a delight. The bridal attendant was just a doll and so helpful throughout the entire day and evening, including helping to bustle my complicated dress, helping me use the bathroom, and making sure me and my husband were eating. Food was delicious and creative; guests kept talking about how delicious it was, particularly cocktail hour. I can’t recommend this venue enough for anyone who wants to feel like they are with family. We already can’t wait to go back to visit and say hi! Definitely has a smaller size cap than some (I think around 195 is the max) – but if this fits your vision, don’t even hesitate for a second with Sea Cliff! LOVE!
I cannot say enough about how great Sea Cliff Manor was for us! My husband and I got married there Sept 2023 and we were so happy with how everything turned out.
Firstly, the property is gorgeous and well maintained. We did not have to do much in the way of decorating as the space is beautiful. The food and drinks were excellent and we had a lot of compliments from our guests.
Nick and Donna were very responsive to questions. Ian made everything flow seamlessly on the day of and helps keep us calm throughout the day. Our bridal attendant Camille made sure we were fed and assisted with whatever we needed. Our guests had a lot of compliments about the service staff being friendly and helpful. Overall an incredible experience.
We had our wedding here and it was incredible! Ian and the whole staff made us feel like family, and the bridal attendant did such a great job making sure I got the eat all of the delicious food! If I could redo my wedding, I'd do it here every time!!
Truly everything I could have ever wished for and more for my wedding venue. Everyone, from the owner, Nick, to Ian, who answered every single one of my many questions, to the staff that was working the day of my wedding and made sure that everything I could possibly need was there, was truly amazing and I would recommend them a million times over for any event. They really know how to make everything special and make sure your vision for your day comes to life. When we met with Nick the very first time, he mentioned how his brides become family, and that was exactly how it felt. Waiting to walk down the isle, he stood there and made sure to compliment everyone in my bridal party and even spoke to me for a few minutes as well. It was like having an uncle there wishing me well. Aside from the staff, the food is incredible. I come from a very big Italian family, and everyone couldn't stop talking about how much they loved the food and how great everything was. There was definitely no shortage of food at our wedding and every "extra" station that we paid for was well worth it. Truthfully, I don't think those extra stations were even necessary, because the "basic" menu comes with a ridiculous amount of food, but it was incredible, nonetheless. I was actually sad when my day was over knowing that I wouldn't be in contact with these people for a while, but I have no doubt we'll be planning more events here in the future. Thank for you making all of my wedding wishes come true Sea Cliff!
My husband and I recently had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at Sea Cliff Manor, and it was nothing short of a fairytale come true. Every aspect of our special day, from the fantastic food to the impeccable service, was beyond exceptional.
The moment we stepped onto the grounds of Sea Cliff Manor, we knew we had found the perfect place to celebrate our love. The venue's stunning architecture, manicured grounds, and breathtaking views of the water created a romantic and magical atmosphere that left our guests in awe.
What truly set Sea Cliff Manor apart was the exceptional service we received. Ian, the maître d', and Camille, our bridal attendant, were the stars of the evening. They were not just there to facilitate our day; they anticipated our needs, ensuring everything ran seamlessly behind the scenes. From coordinating with vendors to helping the bridal party and guests, Ian and Camille were professional, attentive, and incredibly kind. Their dedication and expertise made us feel like royalty.
Our decision to choose Sea Cliff Manor as our wedding venue was undoubtedly one of the best choices we made for our special day and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We highly recommend Sea Cliff Manor to any couple looking for a picturesque, elegant, and meticulously managed wedding venue. Thank you to the entire team at Sea Cliff Manor for making our wedding day an unforgettable experience, and a heartfelt thank you to Ian and Camille for being the dream team that ensured our day went off without a hitch. Our wedding was a fairytale, and it was all thanks to you!
We got engaged the summer of 2021 and after looking at a few more traditional catering halls in the Bronx and Westchester, Sea Cliff was the greatest choice my husband and I could have made. The location, features, and finishes sold us and we booked as soon as we finished the tour. Leading up to our date the Sea Cliff team was professional and really made that part of wedding planning very easy. Our day at the venue could not have been more picture perfect and all that Sea Cliff had to offer was executed to perfection. We had about 120 guests and everyone raved about the food, the atmosphere, and the service from the staff. Ian and Daniella our bridal attendant were amazing and truly felt like family that night. We never had to worry about anything. Only the highest praises for Sea Cliff Manor and anyone who books with them is in incredible hands. Truly a gem in the realm of Long Island wedding venues.
I had my wedding reception at Sea Cliff Manor on August 24, 2023. I never imagined I would feel this happy after my wedding day it’s literally all I can think about. I wish I could re-live it. I’m so happy we chose Sea Cliff Manor to celebrate our special day. We have our friends and family messaging us saying how much fun they had and how it was the best night. Nick made us feel like we were apart of the family from the start when we were just checking out the venue. Donna assisted us a lot leading up to the big day and was super informative and helpful. Ian was a master maitre d’ and I really don’t know how he does it. He’s brilliant. He made everything run so smoothly and I was so thankful he was there! My bridal attendant was Camille and she was AMAZING! Literally best bridal attendant I could ask for. She made sure I ate and was taken care of. And she’s also just an awesome person to talk to. I suffer from bad anxiety and they all made me feel at ease. The rest of the staff were just as amazing. They all made sure our guests were taken care of.
My only regret is being disappointed in the weather. It wasn’t supposed to rain that day and it did. We were looking forward to an outdoor cocktail hour since they have such a beautiful outdoor space in the garden. Cocktail hour ended up being inside and the staff set it up beautifully and it looked amazing. It gave our guests an opportunity to explore the beautiful rooms of the inside (especially the speakeasy!) Guests were still going outside during the reception to check it out. It really was the most amazing day. The Staff at Sea Cliff Manor really went above and beyond.
I remember when we first went to check out the venue, a bride was walking in to pick up her things from her wedding the night before and she said to me “if you’re on the fence just do it. It was amazing here you won’t regret it.” And she really was right. I couldn’t imagine a better venue to have our reception at and we will cherish these memories forever. Thank you Sea Cliff Manor!
My wedding day at Sea Cliff Manor was beyond incredible. The grounds, food, and staff are amazing and I got so many compliments from my guests. The staff takes care of everything and does their best work to make sure your event is perfect. I am so grateful to have been introduced to this venue and these people. They are so talented, professional, and dedicated to their work!
Nick, Ian, Sam, Camilla, and the entire Sea Cliff Manor team made our wedding day a smooth and beautiful experience. At every step their friendly professionalism and expertise made things simpler and contributed to an overall incredible wedding day. The venue itself, interior and exterior, as well as the excellent catering and strong relationships with other vendors all were well above our expectations.
My husband and I are still buzzing from our wedding at Sea Cliff Manor! Our wedding was the best day of our lives. From the beautiful grounds at the venue, to the amazing food, and above-and-beyond staff, you really can't choose a better venue.
Everyone that works there are truly the best at what they do. From our initial meeting with Nick, to the tasting and planning meets with Ian, to the actual wedding day, everyone we encountered were absolute professionals and so easy to work with. It truly feels like you are part of the Sea Cliff family.
Ian's energy is unmatched. He was hyping us up and getting us excited the weeks leading up to the wedding. My husband and I didn't even have to think about anything on the day of our wedding. He was so calm, organized, and attentive. Even our family members kept commenting on how great he was!
Camille the bridal attendant was my savior! The wedding day is so busy you don't realize that you've barely eaten anything. She prepared a separate table at the cocktail hour with plates of food for my husband and I and made sure we sat down and ate. I didn't realize how bad I needed the food until we started eating. She also made sure we always had a drink in our hand :)
You are in amazing hands at SCM! We wish we could do it all over again and our friends & family feel the same.
Sea Cliff Manor will truly make your wedding dreams come true!! My husband, family, and friends all raved about the space, the view, the food, and the staff! Ian was absolutely phenomenal at all stages of the wedding process (pre-wedding and day of) - he is very detail oriented, communicative, and kind, and on the day of my wedding, took care of everything, allowing my husband and I to feel as relaxed as possible. Ian was so well organized pre and during the wedding - he was so responsive to all questions and gave really helpful suggestions. On the day of my wedding, everything was decorated the way we asked, the schedule flowed really well, and our dream day was executed perfectly. All of the other staff members, especially the bridal attendant Camille, were also so kind and helpful, and we really enjoyed working with everyone. We would very highly recommend having your wedding at Sea Cliff Manor!
Could not recommend Sea Cliff Manor more! From the second we toured the venue Nick and the entire staff made us feel like family. We booked over 2 years in advance and the entire process leading up to and including our wedding day was so seamless. They really cater to exactly what your wedding vision is and execute flawlessly. Ian is a wedding wizard and with him running the show we never had to worry for one second about anything. Our guests raved about the food and how amazing and attentive the entire wait staff was. We couldn't be more grateful to be a part of the Sea Cliff Manor family!
I truly could not recommend Sea Cliff Manor more. From our first tour to our wedding day, they have been nothing short of amazing. Ian, Nick, Camille and the entire staff there are so wonderful and truly love the venue and care so much about the couples. Our expectations were completely exceeded (and we had very high expectations). They were so responsive and helpful in the year/months/days leading up to my wedding with any questions I had. The day of my wedding called for thunderstorms all day and a block of sun in between. Sea Cliff was so flexible in choosing whether things would be inside or outside, and so reassuring to me that no matter what happened it would be the perfect day. The ceremony ended up outside and cocktail hour inside. It was PERFECT. All of our guests were constantly complimenting how amazing the food, staff, venue was. The people are truly are what make Sea Cliff so special. It was absolutely the most perfect day and I am so happy we got married at Sea Cliff Manor.
From the moment my husband and I stepped into sea cliff manor we knew it was going to be our venue! It’s so beautiful from the outside to the speak easy inside. Nick and Ian have been fantastic to work with since the moment we got married ! They answered all my questions up until the final days before the wedding. I can’t say enough amazing things about sea cliff they are just so wonderful! They treated us like a king and queen in our wedding day and what more can you ask for? I wanted an outside ceremony so bad and Ian made it happen even if the weather was a little iffy! They are wonderful and my wedding was the most amazing day thanks to the staff at sea cliff!
From the minute we first met Nick on our tour we knew this venue was a perfect fit. This was our first tour, we saw 3 more venues, and quickly ran back. This place makes you feel like family every step of the way, and they are just amazing to their couples and their families. Ian is a creative genius, and I kind of gave him the creative liberty of setting up some HP decor as he saw fit, and they were above and beyond my expectations. Knowing he was a fan as well absolutely helped. They made my off beat dark, romantic, Harry Potter themed vision come to life. They handled every bump along the way with ease - and I know we ran late for sure. I was very worried and felt sooo bad, but they put me at ease. The food is TO DIE FOR. Cocktail hour was something out of this world. We had so so much food and everything was better than imagined. The outdoor area was gorgeous with the sunset during the ceremony and cocktail hour area. We brought in cake and they gave us a dessert of warm apple cobbler, and we added on the 3 passed desserts, along with the lamb chops for cocktail hour - SO WORTH IT! The room size may be limiting for some with larger guest counts. We had ~115 people but had PLENTY of room to spare. This venue is such a hidden gem - their popularity is growing exponentially, and it is well deserved. Their newly renovated bridal suites, a speakeasy with a covered porch outside the French doors, and gorgeous fireplaces are just some of the recent updates. No carpet in the ballroom either! We booked prior to these updates and were updated pretty regularly along the way. My guests have spoken very highly of the service, food & drinks, and their amazing staff. They made sure my mother who has serious back and leg/mobility issues was comfortable the whole night. I will recommend them forever to anyone and am so happy to have worked with them.
We began looking for venues in early 2021 and when we stepped into Sea Cliff we knew it was different. It wasn’t your typical big banquet halls but it had so much character and charm. We knew we had to book this place but because of the pandemic, the next available Saturday wasn’t until mid November of 2022. We decided it was worth it and it was easily the best decision ever. They made so many upgrades since we initially toured the venue so that was a bonus for the wait. The cocktail hour was beautiful, everyone is still talking about it. Everything from the view to the staff and food here are amazing. Definitely worth every penny.
My husband and I knew we wanted to get married at Sea Cliff Manor 5 minutes into our tour and initial meeting with the owner Nick. Every single interaction afterwards only solidified the fact that Sea Cliff Manor was the absolute perfect choice for our wedding. The first thing you need to know about this venue is that the food is the best food you will ever eat at a wedding. The list of options to choose from is so extensive and exquisite that you can’t go wrong with any choice. Even something as small as passed hors d’oeuvres were highly enjoyable but The stuffed rigatoni is by far our favorite dish. The bridal attendant and maitre’d (Camille and Ian) will make sure you have enough time to eat as well. The venue itself was beautiful that we didn’t have to worry about adding decor other then the centerpieces and some greenery/candles. From the fireplace we used as the background of our indoor ceremony to the speakeasy bar, the charm of the venue speaks for itself. Having a groom suite as well as a bridal suite was a great touch as well. Ian worked extremely hard to fit our wintery theme into the decor of the venue and when we walked in during the day of the wedding the venue was even more beautiful then I could have even imagined. We chose the rest of our vendors using their preferred vendors list and every choice they recommended worked in great harmony. It made everything so much easier with planning knowing that our entire wedding staff had worked together before and it showed during our wedding day. The entire staff, especially Ian and Donna, are beyond helpful from the moment you sign on to even after your wedding and were amazing with answering questions, providing suggestions, and assisting with any special request we had for them. During the day of our wedding, Ian and Camille were so amazing with organizing everything and helping us to make sure every little detail was executed perfectly. We were concerned about having to have the wedding indoors due to our December date but the Sea Cliff Team could not have made it smoother. They swiftly converted the indoor ceremony space for the cocktail hour and once again into the reception. The venue perfectly fit all 120 guests indoors as well as our rather large chuppah for the ceremony. We were extremely happy with how our wedding turned out and the biggest reason was because we chose to get married at Sea Cliff Manor. I hope we find ourselves invited to another event here real soon. Thank you Ian, Nick, Camille, Donna, Jim and the entire Sea Cliff team for giving us the wedding of our dreams.
I would give 10 stars if I could! Sea Cliff was such a dream venue. We booked way back in 2020 and from the beginning Ian was in contact helping us throughout the planning process. On the day of, Ian, Camille, Nick, and the entire Sea Cliff team was more accommodating, generous, patient, and supportive than I could have asked for. Both my husband and I had a lot of nerves but truly felt so supported by the team. Every single member of Sea Cliff helped make our day so magical.
Every aspect of the venue was spectacular - the food, the views, the atmosphere, the speakeasy, the outdoor ceremony & cocktail hour, the decor. Every guest was so thrilled and we had an amazing time. I am so so thankful we were able to make Sea Cliff the heart of our special day.
HIGHLY highly recommend!!
AMAZING. The staff is incredible here. My entire family was complimenting the service, care and attention given by every single staff member here. This location was intimate and beautiful and made our wedding the best day of my life. Food was fantastic. Speakeasy and dance floor are beautiful.
We just had our wedding here in August and it was beautiful. The venue is gorgeous and has a really cozy feel. The food was phenomenal and all the guests complimented it. Working with Ian and Nick made the whole process feel easy and stress free - we could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else.
We highly highly recommend having your own wedding here or at least checking out the venue! It is so special and you will feel it right away!
Sea Cliff Manor was the second venue we visited and right away my husband and I knew it was the venue for us. Over our 20 month engagement the venue only got more beautiful. Ian truly thinks of everything. Any cute idea I thought I found online, he had already come up with. Nick and Ian were beyond helpful throughout the entire process and answered all of my questions promptly and with reassurance. I knew we were in good hands going into our big day. They also treat you like family and don’t up sell you. Many friends have told me about their experiences at other venues and it made me so thankful we had the team and venue we did. They really want you to have the most special day. You forget you are one of many weddings they do a year because they truly treat you like you are a priority. The bridal attendant (forgot her name!) was so nice, bustled my dress, made sure we are, always made sure there was a drink on our hand and was always there anticipating our needs. I couldn’t ask for a better team!
We were so worried about the weather but Ian had us covered with a backup plan if needed. Luckily the weather worked out in our favor and we got a beautiful sunset.
My husband said his only wedding regret was not having a second slice of his favorite pizza at our after party… if that’s the only regret you know it was perfect.
We got married during Hurricane Henri when literally every other venue on Long Island closed — but not Sea Cliff! They were extremely communicative throughout the entire process, and extra so the weekend of — ensuring that my husband and I were comfortable with the rain plans the entire time. They also do not charge tent fees! So it’s not your responsibility to find a tent company last minute if the forecast changes. In addition to the amazing customer service of the entire Sea Cliff team (shout out to our day-of coordinator Ian!) the place is just absolutely gorgeous. If you’re going for the cozy, romantic, better-than-your-own-backyard wedding aesthetic — Sea Cliff is the place! You don’t need to go wild on decorations because the house itself is so beautiful and charming. From the beautiful seats to using actual bone china for your dishes, they truly think of everything to make your experience one-of-a-kind. I literally could not have gotten married without them! And the food is outstanding!!! Seriously the best food you’ll ever have at a wedding! A year later and we’re still getting compliments! Would get married there every year if I could!
If you are looking to have an outdoor ceremony, you should really consider this venue. The natural beauty of Sea Cliff Manor cannot be beat. Our ceremony was so beautiful, I still get emotional thinking about it. Even the views of the water inside the venue are spectacular. It is definitely a non-traditional venue that has a more intimate feel - not like a large catering hall. My one concern was the layout of the dance floor (the dining tables do not surround the dance floor, they are to the side of the dance floor) but now that I had my wedding I actually much prefer this layout, because it allowed guests to enjoy their dinner and have some separation for guests who wanted to talk instead of dance the whole time.
The staff is also first class. Ian, our maitre'd, helped make our day so special - he understood and perfectly executed everything we wanted. They are very accommodating and will work with you if there is something you really want done and they are constantly updating and improving their building and food options to make every detail memorable. Even their food is unique, fun and tastes amazing. Sea Cliff truly made our wedding the best day of our lives and I would pick this venue over any other again in a heartbeat.
Sea Cliff has such a special place in our hearts! Not even halfway through our initial tour with Nick, we knew we found our wedding venue. Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous and so unique, but we felt at home right away. Renovations continued to be done throughout our planning process and every time we visited it looked better and better (which was just an added bonus because we fell in love with the venue prior to all the renovations). Words cannot describe how wonderful, helpful, thoughtful, creative, and kind Ian (the maitre d') is. Our wedding day was absolutely PERFECTTTT and Ian is truly to thank for that. He is SO good at what he does and goes above and beyond to make your day special. I could go on and on about how much we love and appreciate him and all he did to make our day unforgettable. After our wedding, we heard many comments from guests that it was the BEST wedding they've ever been to (and one in particular who said the filet mignon was the "best piece of meat he's ever eaten"). We have nothing but love for Sea Cliff, and wish we could relive the magic it brought us again and again and again.
There are simply no words that could describe the magic of Sea Cliff Manor. It exceeded any and all expectations we had. The grounds and atmosphere is beyond beautiful. We just got married this last Saturday 6/4 and it truly makes me so sad the whole journey is over. From the moment we walked into the doors at SCM for our tour, we were captivated by Ian's passion, knowledge and confidence. Our experience with Ian at that tour sealed the deal for us and we knew there was no other place that compared (especially after going on a few others). We had a long engagement and it brought us comfort that Ian was still there 2 years later through COVID and not only was he still there but he also made even more beautiful renovations in that time. Additionally, the food tasting was incredible. Ian reassured me the entire way that everything was going to be smooth and it would be the best wedding and he 100% followed through on that. Guests are still talking about how incredible the food was, how personable the wait staff was, how beautiful the whole wedding was and how smooth and professional Ian ran everything. It was truly the most magical day of my life and I simply could not imagine it being done at any other venue. The weather was perfect, which made the cocktail hour and ceremony everything I dreamt of and more. I wish I could relive this day 1000 times! There is something very special about this venue and how personable and warm Ian and all the staff are. Thank you to Ian and all the staff for making our wedding day the best day ever! I am beyond thankful for finding this hidden gem.
We got married at Sea Cliff Manor in April, and we are so glad we chose it as our wedding venue. My husband and I wanted a very personalized wedding (llamas included!) and felt in love with Sea Cliff’s uniqueness and charm. We had to postponed our wedding due to COVID, and Nick (the owner) was super understanding and supportive through that. We were treated like family from day one. Our guests kept asking about how we found the place, and raving about the food and how friendly the staff were. Thank you Sea Cliff Family for our dream wedding!
Sea Cliff Manor was maybe only the second or third venue we visited, but we knew from the moment we walked through the doors that we found our place.
With Sea Cliff Manor, you're not getting a cookie-cutter wedding hall, nor are you treated like just another couple. When you're with them, you have their full, undivided attention, and you're treated like an old friend, or a member of their extended family. Nick, the owner, welcomes you with open arms into the venue, listens to you and what you want for your big day, and carefully walks you through the options. He's never pushy or sales-y.
The food options are the best you'll find anywhere. It's all home-cooked, and the offerings are fun and creative. Standouts include Tito's & Burritos, the Tour of Italy cocktail station (chicken parm!!), the Peter Luger station, and the hors d'oeuvres.
The cherry on top of it all was the service -- especially Ian, the maitre d, and Camille, the bridal attendant. Ian answered all our emails and calls quickly and was with us every step of the way leading up to our big day. He truly is an asset to Sea Cliff. Camille was with me (bride) all evening and made sure that all my needs were taken care of.
Sea Cliff Manor was the best choice we made.
We got married at Sea Cliff Manor in May 2022. We could not be happier with the venue we chose. Ian and Nick were so accommodating. Everything that was important to us, they were able to do or get, no questions asked. The wait staff have great personalities and interact with the guests. The venue is also newly redone and looks so beautiful, especially the new ready rooms which you get for the whole day. It rained a little and the staff carried umbrellas over each guest to get to the ceremony tent. The venue is very affordable compared to other local venues including NO admin fee. The only thing I don’t think was worth the money was the after party but that is an optional add on. Only great things to say about Sea Cliff Manor and our wedding!
Sea Cliff was the first wedding venue my husband and I toured for our wedding and it was the one we could not stop thinking about. It is not your typical “cookie cutter” venue and it has an intimate charm that is incomparable. We met with Nick the owner during our tour and he instantly made us feel at home. Nick even sent us a handwritten thank you card for touring Sea Cliff, and for us, that sealed the deal for us in booking them for our April 2022 wedding.
During the pandemic, Nick and his staff (Ian, Donna, etc.) were so responsive to any and all of our questions and I never felt like I was being a nuisance to them. They all reassured us that our wedding would be the best day ever and they all definitely calmed my nerves.
In preparation for the wedding, we attended a tasting held at Sea Cliff that allowed us to better fine tune our menu based on our wants and needs (be ready to get full). THE FOOD AT SEA CLIFF IS INCREDIBLE. Many of our guests have told us that Sea Cliff served the most delicious food they ever had at a wedding hands down. The cocktail hour outside was the highlight, with it being held at outside on the lawn with the sun setting on the water. Many of our guests thought that the food at cocktail hour was the main meal because there was so much food!
The service was impeccable and Ian (Maitre D) really put his heart and soul in to making sure that our day went as smoothly as possible. He really made sure that we were able to truly enjoy the day and reminded us to take it all in. Camille (bridal attendant) made sure I always had a drink in hand and she even prepared us plates during cocktail hour to make sure that we were able to at least taste the food served during cocktail hour. She also put together my bustle and made sure that it was always attached so I could easily walk/dance around.
From start to finish, our wedding day at Sea Cliff, as cliché as it sounds, was the absolute best day ever. It is a bittersweet feeling knowing that the day is over, but we will have memories to last a lifetime. When you become a Sea Cliff bride, you truly become part of a family and I am forever grateful to the Sea Cliff Manor family for all that they did to make my wedding day even more special.
We chose to go with Sea Cliff Manor in large part because, at the time that we were hopping around to see different venues, a work colleague recommended we check them out. And, when we called to ask about their availability, they were extremely booked up already, while many of the other places we were visiting had lots of open weekends. That seemed like a good sign, so we went with them. And I'm so glad we did! Our maître d' Ian ran the ship so impeccably smoothly. Talk about herding kittens! Our parents and wedding party also shared with us how great it was to have him guiding us through the whole day and night (not to mention the months leading up to the big day). From all the emails (and seating charts and unique dietary restrictions) to the perfectly timed processional (still not sure how he did it??) to the periodic fist bumps over the course of the evening (so essential!!), we just so appreciated getting to take this step with him. We were definitely in good hands. And that extends to the whole Sea Cliff team, who were so kind and upbeat all day and night. They made sure we were always smiling, and our bridal attendant Camille made sure we were always fed and hydrated! It was just such a relief and joy to be in such great community. We truly felt the festivities went off without a hitch, which is such a blessing and gift. Our wedding also had a lot of little DIY and unconventional details—including centerpieces I'd made myself, a macrame ceremony arch hanging, processional music burned onto a vinyl record, a custom cake tray, a wedding party that was just our families, and so on, and literally every single detail came to fruition, with Sea Cliff collaborating with my florist/stylist who hadn't worked there before. I'm the kind of person who likes to have creative control over all these logistics, and Sea Cliff truly took over in such a reassuring way. Ian was so on top of every detail. He was genuinely empathetic and a great listener, and the pacing and vibe of the whole evening, from photoshoots to rehearsal to ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, was completely beautiful.
My fiancée and I chose another venue for our wedding but the welcoming experience and the way Nick and the rest of the staff treated us and our family deserves a five star review. The owner set aside time and made us feel like his most important business of the day when we visited. The maître d' (the finest dressed man I have ever seen) was warm, welcoming and confident. They know how to put on a party at this venue. The pricing options were clear and presented in a way that made us feel confident.
Whatever your vision for your wedding is, I cannot recommend Sea Cliff Manor highly enough. We'll be hosting a party there, some day.
I'd give this place a million stars if I could. The entire staff is absolutely lovely and creates such a fun experience for everyone. They made us feel so calm and relaxed and headed off any potential issues before they even happened. They really do their best to make sure that the couple and the family are super happy. I've been to many LI weddings and I've never experienced anything like this. The weather was awful on my wedding day and I was initially disappointed about having the ceremony and cocktail hour indoors but looking back, I wouldn't have had it any other way. I'm so happy we chose Sea Cliff. Our guests are still talking about the food and the service there, days later. I even found many of my guests at the bar asking for their table servers by name so they could tip or say good bye to them! I cannot thank them enough for making my day beyond special and I don't have a single thought of any negative feedback or anything that they could change or improve - the entire experience is lovely and genuine and amazing!
I couldn’t have asked for a better venue and better people to work with for our wedding day. I knew we were in amazing hands and didn’t have one stress about the wedding day (except for the weather) but Ian had prepared for indoor and outdoor options the day of. The food was amazing, the staff was amazing the venue was amazing! If you’re looking for a venue that is personalized for you with amazing views, SeaCliff is your place!! I wish we could go back and do it all over again. The venue is one of a kind, not your typical Long Island wedding venue which is exactly what we were looking for. Planning a wedding during covid was stressful for most brides, but not for us because of the way Nick and Ian do business. They always were there to answer any questions we had and never left us in the dark about anything. I cannot say enough amazing things about Sea Cliff.
Our wedding at Sea Cliff Manor was a dream come true. From the beginning of the wedding planning to the wedding day itself, everything was perfect. Ian was such a pleasure to work with and had everything running smoothly the entire day. My bridal attendant, Camille, was great and made sure we had everything we needed, drinks and food all night along with helping me with my dress. Nick and Donna were great to work with during the planning process and were always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Sea Cliff Manor itself is a beautiful property and I love that our wedding was the only one that day so it truly got all the focus from all of the staff. The guests were raving about the incredible food. I cannot recommend Sea Cliff Manor enough. They were a big part in making our wedding day such an incredible day.
Part 2:
We made a last-minute decision to extend the cocktail hour to an hour and a half which was absolutely 1000% the right choice. Cocktail hour is hands-down the best part of any wedding and especially at Sea Cliff with the incredible food it was so nice to just be able to relax and enjoy cocktail hour. We added on the lamb chops which everyone raved about and were amazing (I have a great shot of me with a cocktail in one hand and a lamb chop in another—Ian was ready for me at the bottom of the stairs as soon as I had my dress bustled), People also raved about carving station especially the Romanian Pastrami (I’m Romanian so we had to get this). Other highlights were the barbecue stations and the taste of Italy station. The outdoor space was BEAUTIFUL but I would highly recommend getting heel savers for your guests wearing heels. They do sink into the grass. Ian suggested it and it was a great suggestion.
Someone said it to me so I’ll say it to you: When in doubt listen to Ian. He’s a pro.
We also added on the after party and we did s'mores. People loved the chill, relaxed environment outside and it was a wonderful way to end the night.
We had a 1920s Art Deco inspired wedding (complete with a 1920s Jazz band and Sea Cliff made all my vintage dreams come true…and then some).
I could go on and on about how amazing Ian, Nick and the whole Sea Cliff family is. If you have any questions, let me know. But if you're in doubt, go with Sea Cliff, you won't regret it. Truly, you're in the best hands.
Part 1(I couldn't help myself):
If you can, do a cocktail hour and a half. In my opinion, cocktail hour is the best part of a wedding and I’m so, so glad we did it! We got to really enjoy AND we got to eat.
On a scale of 1-100, Sea Cliff gets 100,000. They are the most caring and genuine people you’ve ever met. If you have the privilege of working with Ian, the Maitre D, he is one of those people that truly loves what he does and it shows. Joy and excitement radiates from his pores when he talks to you about your wedding, helps you with the details and creates pure magic for you. He is organized and thorough and one of the kindest and most sincere people I’ve ever met. His attention to detail is phenomenal and it’s clear that he shows his staff the same love and attention he shows his couples. They clearly love working for and with him as evidenced by our guests who raved about the staff, the food (which they said was some of the best food they’d ever eaten, not just wedding food, food period) and the excellent alcohol that just kept on flowing. My husband loves craft beer and Ian did everything in his power to make my husband happy. He got him some amazing craft beer choices and my husband was over the moon. Leading up to the day, Ian was so responsive and open to my wildest ideas. He repeatedly came up to me throughout the night to show me small details (like our cake topper) and fist bump me and ask me what I needed and what he could get for me. He is a gem of a human and Sea Cliff is lucky to have him.
Nick felt like family from the moment we walked into Sea Cliff (and not in a fake, I’m trying to get your business way. He was and is genuine.) When I walked into Sea Cliff the morning of my wedding and saw how beautiful it was, I started crying. Nick was showing some folks around and he saw me crying and HE started crying. Later in the day he sought me out to see me dressed and started crying all over again, telling me I looked beautiful. He was like my dad! He now even says he feels like we’re all cousins, I feel that too!
We were initially supposed to get married August 1, 2020 but we had to postpone and the entire postponement process (with all of my vendors) was absolutely seamless. I saw some horror stories from other brides but I had none of that with Sea Cliff.
I will say that we initially had invited 256 people but more than half didn’t come. Nick and Ian assured us that 202 would fit and that generally 10-15% of guests invited decline. In the end we had 150 guests and it was the PERFECT number. The space felt full, yet intimate. We did put two tables on the dance floor as per Ian‘s recommendation, so as to not block the speakeasy area and I actually think it was a really great idea (though I’ll admit, I was hesitant at first.) The tables I put on the dance floor were full of young people (including some of my bridal party) so they not only got amazing photos of the first dance, father daughter dance, mother son dance, my uncle singing and other great shots, but they also got up and danced to get the party started on multiple occasions.
Dinner was DELICIOUS and most people got the filet mignon which melted in your mouth or the pecan crusted swordfish which was SO GOOD. You can’t go wrong with the food. You just can’t. For dessert we got the Tartufo which I never tried but heard it was amazing and the we added the passed desserts which were great fun and delicious touch.
Wow, Sea Cliff Manor is amazing! We just had THE most wonderful wedding weekend in Roslyn and hosted the most amazing rehearsal dinner at Sea Cliff Manor on night 1! Our guests were all from Southern California and Manhattan, and every one of them was awed from the moment they arrived when they were greeted with a glass of champagne as they stepped off the bus. The venue itself is gorgeous, and the VIEW is spectacular! we happened to have a beautiful warm October night, so cocktails outside were just gorgeous. and THE FOOD! There was so much of it! Appetizers were everywhere! being passed and on the buffet tables! The bartenders were awesome, and all the servers were beyond fantastic. Nick, Donna and Ian are THE BEST!!!! We had a lovely sit down dinner inside, and everything was just perfect. Couldn't have been better! Dinner was delicious, and came out on time. and then when the dessert station came out with s'mores, donut wall, cookies, brownies, pizza..... Well, that was AMAZING!!!! We had a very HAPPY crowd!!! ;) The whole night was a home run, and we love Sea Cliff Manor! Thank you to the entire team there for making our event feel so special and unique, we loved it all!
I didn't have a dream idea of a wedding but Sea Cliff somehow managed to provide my dream wedding. Nick and Ian feel like part of the family after hosting my wedding. And the staff! After calling family and friends after the wedding, they were naming staff by name with compliments. My grandfather locked his wheelchair because he wanted to say goodbye to Christian. My bridal attendant was the Italian grandmother I never had making sure I ate and had my back. Some notes:
- They were so supportive, responsive and calming - such the perfect energy.
- A friend literally licked his plate dry
- The cocktail hour was so amazing, most didn't realize the reception had not started.
- I heard all bartenders were fantastic, my bridal attendant took care of me so I never met them!
- They moved and shaked with all the nuances that can happen, like Ian taking a photo of us with the cake because my photographer left.
- The outside area provided the best photos.
Whatever you are thinking, you don't need to keep looking. This is the the perfect venue in every way and I will forever be grateful.
I would highly recommend Seacliff manor as a wedding venue. Working with nick and Ian was a pleasure. Ian and Nick supported and guided us through the whole process. The whole staff at Seacliff made us feel like family.
I can't say enough how happy we are that we chose SCM for our wedding in June! We worked mostly with Ian and he was amazing. Every detail was absolutely perfect. We got so many compliments about the food!! It was incredible. Staff was super friendly, funny and polite. Best decision we made!!
We got married at Sea Cliff Manor on August 29th, 2021. The wedding was amazing as was all the staff. Our wedding was not typical. We are a gay, bicultural couple (Jewish and Ethnic Miao). My husband created all the gowns and ceremonial garments for his best maids. The whole day was like a dream. One that you don't ever want to wake up from. Our wedding brought out the best in everybody attending that day. Ian and Camille were so helpful. reassuring, and attentive to us and our guests. Ian made sure the ceremony outside was perfect and that all the wedding maids were attended to. The whole wedding party and all the guests felt so welcome and so much warmth in the room. Camille kept us fed and hydrated when we lost track of time...which was often! Ian was very helpful in calming our nerves when things were getting late before the ceremony. He also helped my best woman with her performance anxiety before she sang her song. We all had the best time of our lives and we will never forget it. Thank you to Sea Cliff Manor for having us and helping make our wedding the special day that it was.
- Jordan and Huey
My husband Nick and I had our wedding at the Sea Cliff Manor on September 6 and it was nothing short of perfect. Five stars is honestly not nearly enough to give this venue and its incredible staff. If you read no further, just know that Sea Cliff Manor is THE best place to get married on Long Island.
From the very first day we toured Sea Cliff after our engagement last summer, we knew there was nowhere else we wanted to have our wedding. The mansion and the grounds are beautiful in that elegant, classic Gold Coast, Great Gatsby style. The rooms are flooded with natural light at all times of the day, but especially during sunset. The recently added speakeasy bar nook is such a unique idea and adds some more 1920s flair to the venue. The bridal suite is cozy and feminine, with windows overlooking the grounds and the Harbor. Aesthetically, Sea Cliff checks the boxes for a truly elegant wedding.
But what makes Sea Cliff special is so much more than its beautiful views and welcoming appearance. Over the past year, the staff has become like family. Nick and Ian went out of their way over and over again to help us through the planning process. As a couple planning a ~170 person wedding while COVID-19 regulations were constantly changing, we were so grateful for their support and genuine care for our event. I’ve never met a team so dedicated to making our wedding dreams come true.
The wedding itself was more than I ever could have imagined. Our guests were absolutely blown away by the food, especially cocktail hour. (Tip: get the coconut shrimp and the Pelligrini ravioli. They were unbelievable.) drinks were delicious and the staff tending bar kept guests veryyyy happy :) The serving staff were so kind and personable and caring. Special shout-out to Christian and Minnie; you kept our guests smiling all night long. Brides, your attendant Camille is a literal lifesaver. She kept me fed and hydrated, bustled my dress, carried my veil and bouquet, helped me around for pictures (and helped me make an escape when I needed a break), kept my champagne glass full, and was just generally amazing.
Sea Cliff is everything you could ever want. Its elegance and unique character make it feel like a true destination wedding. The staff - Ian, Nick, Donna, Anna, Camille, Christian, Minnie, all the wait staff and bartenders and anyone I am missing - will treat you like family and they TRULY care about your happiness. The food and drinks are to die for.
I couldn’t have asked for more and I will be forever grateful we made the decision to get married at the Sea Cliff Manor.
Love,
The Khosrozadehs
My husband and I got married at Sea Cliff Manor on July 22nd, 2021 after having to postpone our wedding from December 2020. We can not say enough wonderful things about Sea Cliff, from the gorgeous venue on the water, to the ease of planning our dream wedding (especially making it easy to plan with them when we had to postpone) to the fantastic staff that went well above and beyond our expectations to make sure our wedding (and the process leading up to our wedding) was absolutely perfect. Nick, Ian, Donna and the rest of the Sea Cliff Manor staff treated us and our guests to 5 star treatment. So many of our guests and family members raved about not only how beautiful our wedding venue was, how delicious the food was but most importantly how fantastic the service was. Our favorite part of the venue (this was hard to pick because everything Sea Cliff does is top notch) was the Speak Easy bar. Our guests loved spending time in there enjoying cocktails and conversations. We got married on site, which was like a dream come true, over looking the water at sunset as we exchanged our vows and said "I do". We had an absolute blast the entire day and as we celebrated our love and partied into the night. From the moment we stepped into the venue two years ago, we knew this was where we had to get married. If you are looking for an incredible venue to get married at, look no further than Sea Cliff Manor, a hidden gem on the North Shore, where all of your wedding dreams do actually come true.
It’s a shame you can only give 5 stars on this site. Sea Cliff Manor is the best wedding venue I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending, and in this case it happened to be for my wedding! Weddings in the time of COVID are a tricky thing - on top of all the normal logistics and headaches associated with planning, we had to reschedule our wedding from August of 2020 to August 2021, we had to arrange new hotel blocks, change guest lists, etc. Seacliff Manor took all of this in stride, honored the terms of our original contract, and did so with a professionalism and grace that you’d expect from the Savoy Hotel.
There are a lot of reasons to choose this venue before you even meet the personnel. From an aesthetic standpoint, it’s perfect. The mansion itself is elegant and classy, the landscaping and greenery are lush and vibrant. It’s on the Long Island Sound. Your photos are going to look good.
From a logistical point of view, it makes a lot of sense. Do you have folks coming from out of town? It’s located 30-45 minutes from either airport. It’s a 12 minute drive from a variety of hotels in Roslyn. Roslyn itself is charming and chock full of restaurants for your rehearsal dinner.
From a money perspective, it also made sense. We looked at a lot of venues, and Sea Cliff’s prices were very competitive.
Then the event starts and the magic really happens! Ian - the day of coordinator - is something of a wedding magician. He has his finger on the pulse of all the different pieces of your day, and tells you (and everyone else involved at the wedding) where to be and when to be there. You don’t have to worry about anything - Ian’s got it.
The food is fantastic, and there’s a LOT of it. Your guests won’t go hungry, and the next day they will thank you for the cocktail hour snacks, because getting food in their bellies before too much alcohol is always a good idea!
Lastly, there is the rest of the staff. I only got a couple of their names, but they all managed to balance professionalism and fun perfectly. Camille, the bridal attendant, was a delight to work with and took care of my wife with grace throughout the day. Christian served my wife and I during dinner, and he was always on the ball, and some of our guests loved the staff so much that they invited them to hang out with the wedding party after the event (they didn’t join us - and that is totally understandable - this was perhaps the professionalism portion of the balance coming through :) )
I could keep going, but I’m likely going to run into a character limit at some point. If you want a place that operates with integrity and class, and where your guests are going to have an outstanding time, you’ve found it. Book now before they run out of availability. Thank you to Nick, Ian, Camille, Donna, and all the staff at Sea Cliff Manor!
Recently got married at this amazing venue and my wife and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding. The venue itself is beautiful of course, but what sets this venue apart from others is the staff. Ian will go out of his way to make sure your big day feels unique and as stress free as possible. You can tell he really enjoys what he does and he is really good at it. Our families raved about the whole staff in general on our wedding day, saying that they have never seen a more professional, attentive, and friendly staff. Even when it rained halfway through our ceremony out of nowhere, the staff was ready with umbrellas for the guests and took on the big task on moving the whole cocktail hour inside in record time (our guests didn't even notice and thought cocktail hour was supposed to be inside). I fell in love with this place when I first saw the intimate, elegant touches of an old mansion on the water but the true value of this venue is the staff.
We had the absolute pleasure of working with the entire team at Sea Cliff Manor for my wedding. Nick, Ian, Donna and their entire staff were so patient with me and my many "meltdowns" while planning this pandemic wedding. We had the most amazing day and the service they provided was beyond impeccable. Ian, thank you for an amazing wedding day!!
Sea Cliff Manor was a great venue to work with! We had our wedding in the middle of the pandemic and decided to just go for it however we could make it work. And we made it work with the help of Ian and Nick at Sea Cliff Manor!
They are so reasonably priced and don't have a bunch of hidden fees. And the food isn't wedding food like you normally get, the food is actually awesome haha.
They always answer in a timely manner and are very easy to get in touch with. Would highly recommend them, they become like family!
Nick and Ian were so supportive to our daughter and (future) son-in-law during the pandemic. They were flexible, upbeat, encouraging and reassuring. Sea Cliff Manor has always been beautiful but, after recent renovations, it is spectacular!! And the location cannot be beat!
The entire staff is wonderfully friendly and incredibly hardworking!! They all worked tirelessly to make our day so very special!! And the food was out of this world!!! Absolutely Delicious!!
Thank you, Nick and Ian and the entire Sea Cliff Manor staff for being so amazing and making our daughter's wedding even more lovely than we could ever imagine!
This day was our original wedding date in 2020 and it marks a time of uncertainty in the world. Postponing our wedding during a pandemic means that human celebration was put on hold. A year later we were able to celebrate our love at the Sea Cliff Manor. During a time where most of our other engaged friends were dealing with nightmare postponement stories. We were greeted with nothing but positive reinforcement the venue bending over backwards to keep us happy.
Almost every guest relayed to me just how fantastic the staff was. I wanted to note a few very specific instances where the staff deserves to be recognized:
- Ian, the maître d’, is a dream to work with. He is truly a beautiful person inside and out and cares so much about making your day special. Everything is run perfectly to the minute. We trusted him along every step of the way. It’s impossible to plan every single detail for your wedding, but just know that Ian already has. We had forgotten to cover a Mic for our Officiant and in 30 seconds Ian had it covered. This is just one of the many moments throughout the day where the stress is completely removed from your shoulders. We never fully understood how much time, effort and detail goes into an event like this. Ian understands this to a science and it shows.
- The owner of the establishment, Nick, couldn’t have been more personable and caring. He showed up the day of our Wedding to wish us congratulations and had tears in his eyes right before I walked down the Aisle. Everyone is family at Sea Cliff Manor.
- The Bridal Attendant, Camille, was next to me every step of the way. She made sure that we ate food and always put a drink our hands. She should be called a “Wedding Attendant” with the amount of care and attention she gave my husband as well. She helped me during the rain all with a smile on her face. Her personality truly showed in how she handled all of the small details with grace.
- It rained a lot on my wedding day and it had ZERO affect on the beauty of the day and venue. The staff all held four umbrellas over me so I wouldn’t get wet walking down the aisle. They made me laugh the whole time and created such a memorable moment. Not only did they help me, but the entire wedding party was escorted with umbrellas through the rain.
- Their service was OFF THE CHARTS. At all times they were hustling to serve the guests with a big smile on their faces.
- For most events that you attend, the Wedding staff is relied on to keep the party going. At the Sea Cliff Manor you can rely on them to enhance your day from arrival to departure
- My wedding was a party that led to some broken glasses. They literally danced their way through cleaning it up and showed no signs of getting upset
- I learned that the hiring process is extremely caring and thought out. Each person is hand picked to compliment the utmost professionalism and charm. I had some time to speak with the staff, who all relayed that they love working at Sea Cliff Manor. It is such a wonderful environment and I feel blessed to have shared my wedding day there.
The venue speaks for itself with the beauty and class both inside and out. On a personal note, the Speakeasy really hits home for two bourbon lovers. In the end you will of course pick your own venue to host your beautiful and memorable day. Just know that if you choose Sea Cliff Manor, you have made the best decision of your life.
Dear Nick, Ian, and Camille,
Nick, thank you so much for all you did to accommodate our families, our budget, and our expectations.
Ian, from our first meeting, I felt confident leaving my wedding in your hands. You have a brilliant mind full of creative ideas, and we are forever grateful that you shared all of that with us! My favorite part, the menu development, the way you set up the reception area, how you repurposed our flowers, and the set up of our memorial photos and "treats" table from our dog- Everything was perfect! You took my (our lol) vision and made it come to life in the greatest way possible. I have a new appreciation and... passion for weddings now! Can't I just come back next Friday and redo it all?
Camille, I did not know what to expect when Ian told me I'd be given a bridal attendant. I didn't think I'd need the help, but you were everything I could have wished for and more. I kept telling you to take a break, to relax, but you were right there with me the entire night! You were extremely attentive and had so many great ideas during our photo time. Thank you so much for making sure I always had a full cup (of lemon water)! Brian also couldn't stop raving about how well you took care of him. You brought him beers and alternated his beer orders with water. We are so appreciative. You kept us happy and prioritized the entire night. You were a huge part of making our day so special.
To the waitstaff, bartenders, chefs, and anyone else behind the scenes: You guys are part of a wonderful operation at Sea Cliff Manor. Your kindness, creativity, knowledge, and dedication to our event are all greatly appreciated.
I wish there was another reason for me to throw a party there... TBD!

First and foremost, this venue worked so diligently and carefully during COVID. They were extremely attentive and made us feel at ease during the pandemic. I’ve read horror stories on multiple venues in this group on how they treated their brides during COVID, and Sea Cliff Manor stood behind us through and through. They treat you like family and I couldn’t be more thankful and honored of having my wedding hosted at their venue.
We looked at about 11 different venues and Sea Cliff was the last one we looked it. Words cannot explain how absolutely breathtaking this venue is - located on the Long Island Sound and even on the gloomiest days, this venue is absolutely magical. With bay windows that surround the reception and dining room with water views, beautiful bridal/grooms suite overlooking the water and cocktail hour area. This was the ONLY venue that sent us a sweet Thank You note (still hanging on our fridge) and I knew this was the venue for us! It’s not your typical run of the mill wedding hall, it’s quaint, enchanting and romantic. You’re the only wedding that’s hosted that day and that made me feel more at ease.
The staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND (I threw in more money for their gratuity with their white glove service). Their maitre’d, Ian, is a real class act! Ian made the wedding planning so easy that I didn’t even need a wedding coordinator! HE DOES EVERYTHING! My husband only drinks Proper Twelve Whiskey and Ian went out of the way to make sure we had this for one of our Signature Drinks. We also had a bridal attendant, Camille, who was SO ATTENTIVE! Also making sure there was a drink and food in hand. Wiping sweat of my husbands forehead af time, lol! Camille was with us every step of the way. She fluffed my dress right before walking down the aisle and helped with all the first look photos, bridal photos and family photos (holding my dress and all!) The food was outstanding and everything is cooked on the spot! All the food that we experienced at our tasting was exactly what we received during our wedding, that includes presentation, taste - you name it! The food presentation during cocktail hour was insane and ALL of our family and friends from out-of-state and locally raved about the detail of each cocktail hour station and passed hor’s devours (my favorite was the mini taco with patron margaritas - pics below!) The day after our wedding, we picked up our decor that was already packed and ready for us. I cried like a baby because of how beautiful and smooth everything went and did not want things to end. When we were leaving, Ian said, “ you both are family now and on your one year anniversary, come back and we will do something special for you.”
My fiancé and I loved Sea Cliff for the beautiful location, but more importantly the owner. He painstakingly made sure we knew all of our options and personally showed us his venue and offerings. Unfortunately, do to the current climate we had to relocate and reconsider our wedding plans. Nick made this process painless and we are extremely grateful!
Ian and Nick did an exceptional job making our wedding a beautiful day even during difficult times. Highly recommend.
