I have to start by saying that I loved the food at our wedding. We chose Sensenigs because we wanted the focus of our wedding to be on the country setting around us, the huge fire pit we built, the apple orchard, the cafe lights we strung, and...
the awesome band that played. We didn't chose this caterer for their presentation. We wanted good, local food, and Sensenig's is known for it's quality meats. We ordered slice pit beef, turkey and chicken breasts. Fresh fruits and vegetables were also on our menu and they were fresh and delicious, nothing old or canned.
Dinner was served buffet style, and the ladies who came to serve it were wonderful.
The only caveat here was that they used Styrofoam plates and white plastic silverware. I wish I had splurged and rented real plates and flatware.
The price was amazing. I paid $15 per person, and there was so much food! I also didn't have to ask guests what they wanted as their entree because Sensenig's provided enough of everything for every guest.
If you're planning a backyard or outdoor wedding, and you're easy going and just want everyone to have a really great time and you aren't too concerned with pomp and circumstance, I'd choose Sensenig's.
