Based out of Golden Valley, MN, Seven Worlds Away is a wedding DJ and entertainment company. Owner Zachary Stanton has performed at over 100 events, helping each client have a celebration to remember.
Zach's foray into the world of music started when he was just 12 years old, and got his hands on a DJ controller. Since then, he's worked both behind the booth and as a musician performing his original songs.
On the day of your wedding, Seven Worlds Away will provide professional sound equipment to enhance each song. Zachary's catalog of music includes songs from all decades, ranging from classical to country. His expert mixing will be complemented by his MC services, helping to make the celebration run smoothly and make any necessary announcements. This business is available to provide music for both the ceremony and reception.

Welcome! My name is Zach. A little about me, I began my music journey at age 12 when I first got my hands on a DJ controller. Since then I've been behind and in front of the booth performing original music on the side. It's a huge honor to be able to do what I do, bringing smiles to couples faces on the happiest day of their lives. I'm currently enrolled at Normandale Community College and live in Minneapolis.

Zach was literally the best DJ we could have asked for. Having a good DJ was very important to us on our wedding day. Zach was so attentive to every detail and he was great at mixing songs during the reception. We had lots of rain on our wedding day, and Zach was so flexible with all the last minute changes we had to make to our ceremony and reception. I would HIGHLY recommend Seven Worlds Away for your DJ if you are looking for one!

I am SO glad I booked Zach for our graduate school formal. I had planned this event for months and needed to make sure I picked a DJ that would elevate the experience- Zach blew my expectations out of the water.
I had students fill out a feedback form on various elements of the event and every. single. person. had raving reviews of Zach.
He is amazing with communication, professionalism, and hospitality- he met all my requests, was punctual, professional, and approachable.
He worked with me to discuss music preferences in advance and was gracious when I requested certain songs and artists not be played.
He had a great playlist for our cocktail hour and then transitioned into dancing- getting our 230 person event into the dancing mood! He did a great job matching the vibe of the guests- gauging what was getting people excited and going with those tunes.
We also got our uplighting through Zach- which was able to match the music and elevated the dance portion of the night.
From the initiation of working from Zach, through the event, and closing up, Zach was lovely.
10/10 recommend. Can't speak more highly, will book again for any future events I host in the Twin Cities area!

Zach was absolutely amazing! We highly recommend him. He was easy to communicate with, professional, and timely. Everyone commented all night about how fun the music was and a couple people even asked for his contact information at the wedding! Zach nailed every part of the day and was so easy to work with. If you are looking for someone who will set the tone for the night and get everyone on the dance floor, Zach is your guy.

Zach Stanton was professional, kind, and organized. My partner and I hired him to DJ our wedding and he did a fantastic job. We didn't hear all the songs on our list but he made a great mix that everyone in the crowd enjoyed. We would hire him again for any event!

Zach was so amazing! When we started booking a DJ I wanted someone we could relate to and have so much fun with and let me tell you, Zach did not disappoint. He kept the music going and had everyone on the dance floor for the whole night. Everyone loved Zach and we had so many compliments all night for the best playlist! Not only did Zach play the best music, but his gift to us was very thoughtful and it made us tear up. If you don’t hire Zach you would be making the wrong decision!

We loved Zach. Initially, I was hesitant to hire a DJ but my fiancée convinced me should and I'm so glad we did! Zach was not only well organized but also incredibly calm, cool, and collected when I was not. Our day was so smooth at the ceremony and the reception because of his help! He listened to the wants of us and our guests and just kept the best vibes going all night. It wouldn't have been the same without him. 10/10 would hire again (but hopefully I don't have another wedding 😂)

Zach was great and very professional DJ at our wedding. Played some amazing music with awesome transitions Very very nice friendly, and professional guy and it was great to work with. Zach was an awesome and very professional DJ at my wedding. Played some great tunes with cool transitions while leaving out the undesirable songs I didn’t want. Very nice and friendly guy and great to work with. He even showed my cousin how it all works behind the DJ booth and got my wife and I a gift which he didn’t have to do
