I wore my mom's wedding dress from the '80s, and Sew What Shop revamped it to make it completely unique and my perfect dress! The dress originally had huge puffy sleeves and up-to-the-elbow gloves. The ladies at Sew What Shop removed the sleeve...s and created a strapless sweetheart neckline. They used tulle to make a one-shoulder draping strap, and tacked pieces from the old gloves onto the strap. They altered the dress to fit me perfectly, and it turned out exactly as I imagined! It was an all lace dress with a fitted bodice, natural waistline, and a slightly poofy skirt with a gorgeous long train. They also steamed the dress for me twice before the wedding.
