ir creativity, focus, and their sheer joy in doing what they love? I'll start by saying that I was the mother of the bride, and the wedding was being held at our family home. My daughter and future son-in-law had a vision, which was really more of a feeling. How would we curate an experience for them, and for every one of their guests... something amazing, surprising, and yet totally 'them'? I think I knew we would be hiring Heidi even as we exchanged our first e-mails (I'd done some research and reached out to several coordinators via e-mail). By the time we sat down in our family kitchen, the decision was made. The ability to take a smattering of ideas on design, the sense of the day, and to translate it into a dream day? They've got it. And we were actually calm, and thoroughly enjoyed the day (and remember it all in a way that we would not if we didn't have Heidi and her team on board). So often, during the reception (and in the weeks following), I was told it was the best wedding a person had ever attended. Five months after the wedding, together again for Christmas, my daughter said she would return to that day in an instant if she could. "It was perfect." she said. What could have been a better gift than that? It was a such an amazing day, created and curated by amazing people. What a joy.

When Brexit happened, and we really needed to stick to our budget, Heidi really stepped up to make sure our perfect day was not compromised. Heidi and her assistants managed our event beautifully, and even took some of our favourite photos on our polaroid cameras from the day ! Thank you so much Heidi!

Heidi has systems in place which help with budgeting, planning meetings, design boards, conference calls, contracts, vendor communication, schedules & venue layout. All of my requests were treated with equal importance & quickly addressed. On the wedding day, Heidi is the person you want by your side, confirming everything is in order. We understand the stress of a wedding, and certainly understand the work it takes to plan an event such as this. When signing up with us for full planning services, our first line of business is to discuss budget and explain costs for the big day based on our client's desires. As experienced planners in this growing industry, we know what things cost, which may be pricey for those with big wedding day dreams but it is our goal to present everything upfront so no one is surprised later in the process. For our vendors, we do like to refer our preferred professionals that we trust, have worked with before, because that makes for an excellent creative team for the day. This is why people hire us.   Simply put, our business is not the best fit for everyone – and not everyone’s budget allows for planning services. We are in the business of HAPPY, and we would never want you to cancel your wedding for any one reason! Every bride deserves a wonderful wedding day under a budget that works for them. Without question, and because it was the right thing to do, I offered to refund your non-refundable deposit, cancel your contract, and even sent you catering companies to contact, rentals and venue information to smooth the transition so you can continue planning your wedding. I am pleased that you were grateful for our understanding and consideration of any financial restrictions.   That being said, I’m saddened to see this review but hope that you understand our position. As a small business owner, sticking to your brand, morals, and overall vision is challenging and its hard not to try and align with everyone’s vision and limitations. From our many other reviews, you can see we do a pretty darn good job at receiving a high level of love and trust from our clients. I take pride in knowing that Seacoast Harbor Events always treats our clients with respect and helps bring their visions to life. I wish you only the best in this process moving forward and hope your wedding day is everything you dreamed of!

there to do? Ha! How innocent I was, then... Our "simple wedding" was actually a pretty complicated event, in hindsight -- the venue that was basically an empty room (so every fork and chair had to be brought in) and the ceremony location was outdoors, which introduced a slew of other variables. Fortunately, however, my mother insisted on getting a planner. Through word-of-mouth she found Heidi at Seacoast Harbor Events, and I'm so glad she did. We worked with Heidi to find a level of service in our budget and she made the entire process so much easier. Heidi was so warm, organized, and easy to work with, made all the decision-making so much easier, and protected me from the inevitable last-minute complications the day of the wedding (so that I, and my mother, actually got to enjoy the day!). She took care of a thousand little decisions and details while always being sensitive to our tastes and needs. Finally, her crew also kept our wedding running *on time,* which I so appreciated. She even made sure we were fed! (Who gets to eat the food at their own wedding? Unheard of!) I would highly recommend Heidi's services to any other seacoast bride.

Starting with my very first conversation with Heidi, she seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me and my fiance, and I could tell she was listening to my ideas and vision for the day. Throughout the entire process she was so accessible, making herself available via email, phone, and text, and always responded promptly. Heidi made all of my visions for the big day come to life, and the suggestions and additions she made added so much. When the big day finally came, Heidi made sure everything ran smoothly and made sure I was stress free. The day was an amazing success, and I truly don't think we could have done it without her and her team! It was wonderful to know that all of the details were in her hands and there was really NOTHING me, my family, or my bridesmaids had to worry about because Heidi had it covered.
