OH MY GOODNESS!! Shutter and Sound made our entire day! My husband and I have watched our wedding video more than 20 times already and we have only had it for a week. We are so impressed and we can now relive our special day over and over again. Jack was the scheduling manager we worked with and I can't say enough about how professional and personable he was. He communicated very quickly and was always there to answer our questions. David was our lead videographer and Tony was our second. They were AMAZING! Both were so creative and made our day so fun. Our wedding highlight video totally reflected how we felt our day went. I can't say enough how happy we are!! Thank you so much:).

My now husband and I got engaged in Todos Santos, Mexico a year ago at Hotel San Cristobal and we knew we wanted to bring our friends and family back to the hotel a year later. I also knew that what type of videographer and wedding video - it had to be amazing and be able to capture our not so perfect turned perfect story, my 40th birthday , and the power of a traditional tea ceremony. It couldn't just be any other wedding video. So, after countless hours of watching videos and checking out companies, I came across Shutter and Sound Films and was blown away. Especially by one video which I watched over and over again and couldn't stop crying every time. I knew I had to have the videographer who did their wedding. To my surprise, he was free!! David and Tony joined us along with our other vendors who we flew out for 3 magical days in Todos Santos (small town about 1 hour away from Cabo). It was worth every penny. They became a part of our memories and journey with us. All our friends and family who watched our wedding video, couldn't stop crying and was able to relive the moments. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding video! Shutter and Sound did an amazing job filming all of the details. The videographers were extreamly professional and easy to get along with. Everyone we worked with was so kind and helpful.

If there is ONE THING you want to spend money on to make your wedding day special beyond words, it’s hiring Shutter and Sound as your videographer. I was on the fence if I wanted a videographer, but once I saw some of their highlight videos, I was absolutely HOOKED. They are the true definition of professionals. They were very responsive and made the process very simple. The people that I personally worked with (Quinn from the office and videographer Michael Cunningham) were exceptional. My Husband and I are not really fans of having our pictures taken, let alone video, but Michael made us both so comfortable we forgot they were even there. The footage they got was absolutely stunning, and the highlight video they made for us is perfect. Every person who has seen it is absolutely blown away by the quality editing and clarity of the picture. 5 Stars is not enough for this company. Thank you for everything!

On the day of your wedding there is so much happening: ceremonies, speeches, family hugs, catching up with friends, dancing, getting pulled in every direction and having to remind yourself to relax and spend time with your wife. As a result of that, neither my wife or I remember the wedding very clearly. The sensory overload of events blurred everything together into vague moments. We are so incredibly grateful that we decided to get a videographer to capture these special moments that went by so fast and would have otherwise been lost. We worked with Quinn Palmer and Michael Cunningham – both of whom were incredibly great and easy to work with. Michael is a very talented cinematographer. He is somehow able to take awkward moments of two people standing side by side and turn it into an HBO-quality masterpiece. The end result is likely to make you cry because it’s so beautiful. Shutter and Sounds quality is extremely reasonable given their high-quality product. A videographer isn’t something you should cheap out on. I recommend that you spend the extra money and work with professionals like Shutter and Sound rather than try to cut costs and end up with an amateur video you’ll end up hating. We ended up getting “The Feature” package which included the vows and speeches perfectly edited over the days worth of footage. We also paid an extra $60 for the hard drive so we would have raw footage of all the speeches in their entirety. I highly recommend doing this as opposed to the music video highlight reel route. The end result feels so much more personal and gives you more reason to want to watch it over and over. The only thing that I wish went better was the communication. I would like to have received a more detailed breakdown of how the day might go, what to expect, and when we would expect to see the completed video. We never had a chance to talk with our videographer beforehand and as a result felt unprepared on the day of. Everyone we worked with from florists to photographers to bar tenders had us meet with them in person or over the phone to talk about our wedding day so in contrast communicating with Shutter and Sounds felt a bit impersonal. I’d also suggest they direct to examples of their different packages on their website. My wife and I initially felt lost when we tried to pick out a package and compare it to videos that they have done. They obviously have a system that works really well for them, but I think the communication could be improved in some areas.
