love that there are so many options (i.e. being able to get all of the raw footage on top of the main video). Our head videographer, Mike, was awesome! He was kind, knowledgeable and got along with our photographer great, as they paired up quite a bit. Between him and the second videographer, they were able to capture all the moments from the day from every angle. I highly recommend Shutter & Sound!

first which made me extra shy.. therefore I had to hit a few shots to calm my nerves, but both were both very kind and sweet. The way the edits were for the short-film were made so differently than what I’m used to other weddings. You would either see Alex and Adam pass by and take a 10-second clip/recording and then swiftly give us pointers on what he wanted to capture. It’s so crazy to see such simple efforts and recordings … but turned out sooo beautifully captured. I have shown the video to MANY of my family, friends & colleagues and guests, and I must tell you about 8/10 were quite moved and emotional. Also, the song choice of mine really did add the cherry on top… I was in awe and watery-eyed when I realized Alex had the edit done within 9 days after our wedding on April 16, 2023, and the edit was sent on April 25, 2023. Alex, thank you for being a part of our day and a moment in our lives I’d never forget. Life gets us sometimes, and sometimes even the best of us. But whatever life paths you face, you will face with grace and triumph it through, through all the hardships, Alex. I remember what we spoke about briefly, and just know, “Everything will always turn out okay.” You have a gift, and I’m so glad you shared it with us. Thank you also to Adam for also being a part of our journey, all of us together. Kaitlin, you have been nothing but amazing throughout this 1 year of communication. You never failed to not respond to any of my emails, and you always given me reassurance and without a doubt, given me such a smooth process while I was planning our wedding all by myself. You made this process easy yet enjoyable. I would love to work with you and the team or Shutter & Sound again someday. But most definitely, refer this amazing company for giving me a piece of our lives that we can re-watch again and again. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

the highlight reel, and could not help but marvel at how perfectly he and his assistant captured the day. Julian also did an amazing job coordinating, and was very quick to respond to all of our emails. Also important to note that they let you choose your highlight reel song, and there are so many amazing options to choose from! A lot of our friends and family were on the fence about whether a videographer was necessary, and I have to say that I think every couple should hire one for their wedding. Our video really captured the magic of the day, and makes me cry every time I watch it! We would highly recommend Shutter + Sound to anyone.

with Mike the day of the wedding and he was amazing at getting all the footage the day of the wedding while hanging in the background. We got our 1 minute video a couple days after the wedding and our full video within a couple of weeks! I even asked for two small tweaks to the video and they have been very accommodating. 10/10 definitely recommend!

a lot of videography vendors when I came across Shutter & Sound Films. All of their highlight videos were amazing and captured all of the important moments beautifully. Their website has their pricing transparently available with the different package options. This was extremely helpful as I knew what to expect and could customize a package that was right for us. Once we reached out via email, they were so quick to respond! We were able to speak with a Videography Coordinator, Julian, and get all of our questions answered. Planning: Our videography coordinator, Julian, would reach out via email throughout the months leading up to the wedding with to-dos to make sure we got the video we wanted. We completed a survey on the important moments we wanted captured, selected the song we wanted to use for the highlight film, and walked through the schedule for the day. Julian was so wonderful to work with on all of the planning. Wedding Day: We had two videographers, Alex and Adam, film throughout the day. They arrived early and were able to capture all of the getting ready moments. Alex is so creative, filming all of the little details, big moments, and ambiance created by all of our guests. Post-event: Julian (video coordinator) sent us the highlight video a week and a half after our wedding. We were so excited and impressed that we received the video that quickly! I wanted to purchase an extra video edit (60 second Instagram edit) and Julian was able to quickly connect with Alex to make it happen. We just received that today and it is PERFECT. It has different moments of our day than the longer version, so it is really cool! Thank you Alex, Adam & Julian! You both are amazing and have been wonderful to work with!

OVID and then ended up going with a different package and they were understanding and flexible the whole time. David was our day-of videographer - he arrived early, was eager to help, worked incredibly well with our photographer and was fun to be around that day. They are clearly very experienced videographers who know how to capture the best wedding moments without being obstructive. They were adaptable and enthusiastic about capturing the best shots. We booked "The Short" package and received our beautiful highlight video within two weeks of our wedding--a treat we got to enjoy during our honeymoon! We are in love with our video and are looking forward to viewing the rest of the raw footage once it is delivered.

David was our lead videographer and Tony was our second. They were AMAZING! Both were so creative and made our day so fun. Our wedding highlight video totally reflected how we felt our day went. had to be amazing and be able to capture our not so perfect turned perfect story, my 40th birthday , and the power of a traditional tea ceremony. It couldn't just be any other wedding video. So, after countless hours of watching videos and checking out companies, I came across Shutter and Sound Films and was blown away. Especially by one video which I watched over and over again and couldn't stop crying every time. I knew I had to have the videographer who did their wedding. To my surprise, he was free!! David and Tony joined us along with our other vendors who we flew out for 3 magical days in Todos Santos (small town about 1 hour away from Cabo). It was worth every penny. They became a part of our memories and journey with us. All our friends and family who watched our wedding video, couldn't stop crying and was able to relive the moments. The cinematography is amazing. Everyone who sees it says it looks like a real movie, they captured so many great moments and edited it together perfectly. 10/10 would recommend using them!

Austen and his second shooter were creative with their angles, perfected lighting and colors, and knew how to beautifully capture the moment without interfering. They made us, our family, and honored guests feel comfortable and most importantly, free to be ourselves. We appreciated how they worked collaboratively with our photographers under our strict time constraints, especially since they both needed to get their necessary shots. Our short highlight video was ready in just 7 days after our wedding. We were impressed, to say the least, with the quick turnaround time but also with the professional quality of the video. Austen and his team were generous with their time, even allowing us to make changes to our finalized product. After a few weeks, we received our highlight video, our multi-cam edit, and the raw footage in a convenient external hard drive. We will be sure to replay them for years to come as we reminisce on our wonderful day. We could not be happier with the Shutter and Sound Films SF team and we, along with my professional photographer brother, will be highly recommending them to our engaged family and friends.

ss than 20 degrees the day of our wedding and our first look was outside. Eric made sure to get every shot he needed as quickly as possible without losing any quality. He didn’t waste any time planning his next shot or what he wanted us to do. He knew exactly what he was doing the entire time. Kylee, the Scheduling Manager, helped with all the “paperwork” and answered all of our questions throughout the entire process. She was so quick to respond to my emails that it was like we were having a real-time conversation! One thing I really liked was how we paid. It was through an electronic debit from your checking account and you could pay as much as you wanted, anytime you wanted, as long as it was completely paid off by the due date. With all the vendors needing final payments around the same time and mostly all requesting these payments via check, it was great to have the option to make instantaneous payments throughout the months on our own schedule. We received our highlight video literally FIVE DAYS after the wedding. How fast is that?! The video is absolutely perfect and we are continuously receiving compliments on it. We can’t stop watching it ourselves! The rest of our package will be delivered in the upcoming weeks, but I am so glad we already have the highlight. I love that Shutter and Sound allows you to purchase all the raw footage from the day. I know I missed out on so much and I’m excited to be able to catch some of it! This is in addition to the ceremony and speeches, which I also can’t wait to watch. So happy we’ll be able to have all of this for the rest of our lives—and this is coming from a couple who originally decided NOT to have a videographer. Love Shutter and Sound and am so, so happy we found them for our wedding day!

He was so lovely to work with and made the planning process a breeze. We aren't local to MA anymore but Cody was not only flexible with our planning phone calls, but he completely took any worry/stress out of planning from a distance. He was amazing on the day of the wedding and made the process so fun. We just received our highlight video yesterday (just two weeks after the wedding!) and we are so obsessed.
