Silk Thumb Florist was AMAZING! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. Jennifer was amazing, she was very knowledgeable about our venue and was able to tell us what would and wouldn't work in that space. They did real bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages and a silk bouquet for me. You couldn't tell it was silk it was so real! They were also great about set up and tear down of centerpieces and the flowers at the venue, dropping off the bouquets at my parents house, and just so so amazing! They made the venue so lovely!

Hands down one of the BEST decisions I made, was hiring Jennifer to do our wedding flowers! I showed her pictures of what I liked, and she made our arrangements even MORE BEAUTIFUL than the sample pix! I wouldn't change one thing about the flowers because they were perfection! EVERYONE commented on how gorgeous they were! I can't say enough great things about Jennifer's work. She was professional, a prompt communicator and I feel competitively priced. Seriously, just contact and see for yourself. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

We were married earlier this year and worked with Jennifer. We had planned to get married in 2020 but obviously moved things back, and Jennifer and her staff were very accommodating. The arrangements were perfect and we felt taken care of start to finish. I would definitely use their services again.

Silk Thumb Florist is amazing! We started planning for my wedding in 2019 and they were amazing with our date changes for our rescheduled 2020 wedding and made all my floral dreams come true. They were able to accomodate all of our extras we asked for and made the day so beautiful and perfect. They never made me feel as though I couldn't have the wedding of my dreams.

I talked to other florists who were trying to upsell me and convince me I needed more florals, but from the beginning you could tell that Debbie and Jennifer’s top priority was making my wedding exactly what I wanted and I’m so grateful for them! Surreal. Our daughter was married June 11.2022 and the venue was transformed into a complete fairytale. I can't thank Jennifer, Shelly and Debbie enough. Absolutely stunning from flowers to decor. Setup and take-down were also very well organized.

The Silk Thumb went above and beyond! We hired The Silk Thumb to handle our decor... this included flowers, linens, chairs, signage, pipe and drape, and a backdrop neon sign for our guests to take photos. I worked with Jennifer, Shelly, and Debbie. Everyone so kind and professional. We did not feel stressed the day of the wedding since we knew we were in such good hands. The florals turned out better than we could have imagined. They are so creative and were able to work in my husband's hobby of hunting into our boutonnieres without being over the top. They also helped create a "boyish" ribbon wand for my nephew so he wouldn't feel left out with his sister having floral ribbon wand. I will share photos as soon as I have them available. The Silk Thumb is a gem. They are, hands down, one of the best floral/decor companies in Metro Detroit.

Where do I begin… with tears in my eyes as I write this, I truly could not have had the wedding I had without Silk Thumb. An unbelievable experience, worth every single penny. My florals were drop dead stunning gorgeous, everyone complimented them. From my very first meeting with Debbie and Jennifer I showed them my Pinterest board, gave them my budget, and they literally made my dreams come true. They were my one stop shop for everything wedding- florals, linens, chairs, our beautiful boxwood wall UGH our candles- an actual DREAM come true!! Not only that but they felt like family by the end of this. I found myself texting Jennifer just for her opinion on things, I mean they made this absolutely incredible and I will forever forever be thankful. The best vendor I have worked with. We used Silk Thumb for pipe and drape at our wedding at Laurel Manor. I worked with Jen, and I sent her one picture and a short 3 sentence summary of what my goal was for the draping behind our head table and she went above and BEYOND! My vision was completely captured and brought to life with stunning pipe and drape. The cost was comparable to other companies I had gotten quotes from, but quite honestly, I would’ve paid more given how well they delivered.

Debbie and her team did a phenomenal job for our wedding at the Dearborn Inn in June. Our centerpieces and bouquets were better than the pictures I shared with Silk Thumb for the vision. They even tried to nurse our peonies back to health and Debbie and her team did EVERYTHING to try to find replacements. We decided to go with the silk, and you couldn't even tell that they were not real. Absolutely beautiful!

Silk Thumb Florist was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They were able to put together exactly what we were hoping for and stayed within budget. The team was always friendly, helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions. It’s not even been a week and we’ve already received numerous compliments on the reception centerpieces. I cannot compliment Silk Thumb enough! They were very professional and easy to work with! I showed pictures of kind of what I wanted they made it happen! They also made great suggestions for the things I hadn't thought of! When I came back from getting my hair and makeup done for the big day, they had delivered the flowers and the trellis which BLEW ME AWAY! I was in happy tears! The arrangements were stunning! Silk Thumb helped turn my backyard wedding into a gorgeous event and I can't thank them enough!

I’m not sure how they did it, but they exceeded my expectations by a million!! Silk Thumb did the flowers for my 10/3 wedding and I’m blown away! Debbie and Jennifer were kind, patient, and reasonably priced for the incredible work they do! They treated us like family from the moment we walked into their shop. When I asked them if they can also help me set up pumpkins as part of the centerpieces, they did so without hesitation. The bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, cake flowers, and centerpieces were STUNNING. I will never go anywhere else for my florals. TOP NOTCH BEAUTIFUL.

Silk Thumb did an amazing job on our flowers for our wedding . Jennifer was great to work with and took our ideas and made them a reality! She did an amazing job on our center pieces for the reception, flowers for the ceremony and the flowers for our cake. I couldn’t have asked for it to have looked any better. Our favorite vendor. We used Silk Thumb for all our flowers, all of the centerpieces and table arrangements, flowers on the pews at the church, a giant backdrop, our seating chart poster and all our invitations/RSVP details. They were our favorite vendor to visit when we came home for "wedding planning weekends". They were fabulous, even while I was planning the wedding from out of state. The whole team was easy to work with, was very familiar with and coordinated with the venue so I didn't have to at all, and truly made our wedding beautiful. I can't say enough great things about Shelly, Jennifer and Debbie and the whole Silk Thumb Team. They even coordinated with our cake vendor and we were able to take personal items (photographs) to them that they set up for a Memory table in our reception venue. My parents, bridal party and I honestly didn't have to do any work at the venue or church the day of the wedding because they took care of everything and it was beautiful. For everything we purchase, they were so affordable and it was money well spent. So much more than just a flower shop!

Silk Thumb truly out did themselves for our wedding. We had silk thumb do all of our florals and signage. I took multiple ideas to Jennifer to incorporate ice cream and golf in to a classic, elegant event, and she not only made my dreams come true, she made them better! I cannot recommend them enough. They were truly so easy to work with, and they always had a "yes, we can make that work" attitude! From our flower wall rental to my bouquet to the groom's golf tee boutonniere to our ice cream bar flowers, I swoon looking at our pictures with all of these perfectly personalized details included. Honestly, 5 stars don't do them justice; I wish I could give more! I would recommend using them to anyone considering a florist for an event!

We used Silk Thumb Florists for our wedding centerpieces, decorating our ceremony pergola , ceremony aisle, our toss bouquet and flower girl petals. I enjoyed working with them from phone calls to our meeting. We worked with Debbie & Jennifer and sat down with Debbie and shared my vision for our florals, tested out different combinations and colors and it was super fun! They listened to all my ideas and made them come to life. The day of the wedding everyone at set up was so great and efficient, everything looked just as we spoke about and I imagined, the florals were all beautiful! I absolutely loved my flowers! We just did ceremony bouquets and boutonnières, and I was thrilled with the prices and the delivery. The original quote was higher than I hoped, and when I mentioned that, they pared down the bouquet sizes quickly and without being pushy on me. I would recommend to anyone in Wayne County!

Jennifer does an amazing job of customizing flower arrangements to meet her clients needs. To cut costs, we only used Silk thumb for flower bouquets and boutonierres rather than table settings. Jennifer was very flexible and she created a gorgeous bouquet just as I described in my vision. Debbie, Shelly, and Jennifer made my visions come to life and also guided me throughout the process. Throwing a 350+ person wedding was a challenge. Silk Thumb was like my safety net. They always had the right answers and their communication was impeccable. I honestly always looked forward to going to their shop, venting to Debbie or one of the girls, and piecing together the next puzzle of my wedding. The bridesmaids bouquets looked fresh and brilliant and my cascading bouquet was one for the books!! Each boutonniere was delicately wrapped and they even brought an extra for my husband just in case. For our seating chart Shelly created the most beautiful print on clear paper that laid over a mirror. To the guests it appeared that each name had been engraved in the mirror. It was so unique. My bouquet for my wedding and the bouquets done for my bridesmaids were beautiful! Setting aside my bias for my own wedding, these were the most beautiful bouquets I've seen for a wedding. Not knowing anything about flowers myself, Silk Thumb was really helpful in turning my vague ideas and pictures into something I really loved. They used a perfect mixture of deep saturated plum contrasted against soft pinks/peach/champagne colors. While it was pricier than some other florists, the quality of their work is well worth the price.

Silk thumb did the center pieces and flowers for my wedding. They are hard to get a hold of once you have booked with them. They will set up and clean up for you and are reasonably priced. They were supposed to put flowers around the bottom of our groomsmen cake but never did.

They are the best! My brother in law just got married this past September and he was so happy with everything and so was his bride. I have also used them for my wedding and so did my sister for her wedding. My sister in law who just got engaged will be using them next June as well for her wedding! Very professional and are wonderful people to work with. You tell them your vision and they make it happen!

The Silk Thumb did my wedding bouquets and they were absolutely beautiful. Even more beautiful than I expected. They also made a hair piece for my maid of honor that I picked up the day before. Incredibly talented and helpful! We used Silk Thumb for our florist as well as our day-of coordinators, and they were amazing. They helped us to coordinate with our venue and worked with our DJ and caterer perfectly. The flowers turned out a bit more traditional and a bit less modern than we were aiming for, but they looked incredible and matched the event superbly. I have no regrets.

I had a fantastic experience working with the ladies at the Silk Thumb Florist. Not only did I get my flowers from them, we also did my cake, chair covers, and invitations at their Wyandotte shop. Jen was able to rework my bouquets to look like a tropical paradise. I wanted a destination wedding but my grandma’s are in their 100’s, so we had to stay local. Jen took my ideas and made them more beautiful than I could imagine. She spent a lot of time and effort to see my vision and create it at my wedding. Not only did we use flowers, but she incorporated willow branches into a water vase, and it was stunning. They were truly professional and my wedding was beautiful. I can’t thank them enough.

Was in my cousins wedding a couple weeks ago and the florist gave her the flowers for the reception on Wednesday when the wedding was on Friday. I thought that was a little early to set up flowers and I said that to my cousin but they guaranteed that the fliers would last over 48 hours. I wasn’t 100% convinced most of the flowers were hydrangeas and from my experience with that type of flower they do not last! So we came in on Thursday to finish some last minute decorations and all the flowers were dead. They hall did keep the AC on the whole time too. They gave my cousin a hard time and called the hall to see if she was lying, after a few calls back and forth they finally said they would bring new ones on Friday ( day of wedding) when they brought the fliers they ended up missing a boutonnière so we called back again and they gave us such a hard time about it saying we were wrong and not there fault. My cousin had her order sheet with all the information on it and they did mess up on the order. One of the other bridesmaids talked to them and finally got them to bring a new one. I’ve been in about 7 weddings plus had one of my own and so have NEVER heard or seen a florist be so rude and unapologenic in my life. They are still giving her a hard time and saying she’s lying. I would not recommend this florist for anyone’s wedding. There are so many better places who care and take pride in making sure everything is perfect for a bride.

We had a few issues with the flowers two days before our wedding. After several conversations with different people I received a text message saying they would replace the flowers (but I should feel lucky they said) bc they normally don’t do that. Anyways after all that, day of wedding the boutonnieres And bouquets were delivered to the hotel. We found out we were missing one boutonniere even though they put in an extra one so technically we were missing two we called them right away and they said that we missed counted and we were not missing any of them after all said and done they finally replace them but they were now different colors all the other guys were in white boutonniere’s and two were in pink very upsetting and I will never recommend this florist to anybody not only were the flowers wilted and we were missing things the customer service itself is horrible they don’t care about you once they get their money is very

Wow! I can't say enough great things about the Silk Thumb! From the first email I sent inquiring about pricing and options, I knew they were the right fit. Without sending any pictures to them, they sent some back that matched my exact vision. I did not worry for a second about what the flowers would look like and if they would be there on time, I was so confident in Jennifer and her team! The pergola was STUNNING and exactly what I had pictured. I had thought about making the bouquets and doing the flowers myself to save money, but in the end, it was SO worth it to have Silk Thumb come. I didn't have to think about it and they were beautifully made. I had sunflowers and white roses/ baby's breath in the heat of July and they lasted and looked beautiful. They did a phenomenal job of capturing our vision and easing all of our worries. Highly recommend!

I had no idea what type of flowers I should have at my wedding. Jennifer sat down with us and went through everything and helped us design our dream wedding. The flowers turned out better than I could have imagined in the bouquets and our centerpieces were stunning. Silk Thumb was great to work with and did not pressure you to spend more. We also rented chair covers and they were set up/torn down day of for us so we didn't have to do any work. It was perfect! 100% recommend Silk Thumb Florist!

We used Silk Thumb for our ceremony and reception flowers, chargers, place card table decor, wedding invitations, ceremony programs, and reception menus. The entire staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish. The flowers were BEAUTIFUL. The ballroom was stunning and smelled incredible from the flowers. My bouquet was gorgeous and I am still in awe of how nice the floral arrangements looked. I would highly recommend Silk Thumb!

Silk Thumb provided excellent service and products for our wedding. The bouquet's were exactly what I pictures and the center pieces were stunning. The prices were standard but their products were everything we paid for and more. The delivery fee was a little high but they were on time and did not disappoint in anyway. They were very accommodating when we had a last minutes change to our number of centerpieces, we very much appreciated their willingness to work with us.

The Silk Thumb is amazing! I don't have enough good things to say about their services. Everything they did for my wedding was perfect and far beyond my expectations! All the decorations were exquisite and they paid so much attention to the tiniest of details! They toon care of everything that day, all I and my guests had to do was show up ready to party!

Great company, but they brought the wrong flowers to the reception! I asked for cream, blush, and red roses for the tables but they only brought us red roses. Thank god I was pretty relaxed the day of my wedding, but that's a huge thing to miss.

Everything about this place was great!! It was well worth the drive to Wyandotte to have the confidence that everything would turn out perfect. Jenn helped me design beautiful bouquets that helped complete our picture perfect wedding. I will use them for all of my floral needs.
