He met with us in person one-on-one, and even came to the venue beforehand per my request to make sure the spot I wanted to put him would work. He arrived hours beforehand to make sure his setup was perfect the day-of, and he also provided his equipment for the ceremony. His music taste and DJ skills were just right for the reception, and really knew how to keep the party going! You can tell this man is passionate for what he does, and he definitely deserves the "Best DJ in Alabama" title! Hello, my name is Marcus Phillips! In the DJ world I am known as DJ Skippo. I am from Tuscaloosa, AL, but I have made Birmingham, AL my home in the last couple of years. I started my career as a DJ while attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2012. While pursuing my degree, I was able to perfect my skills at different campus events and other private social events. In addition, over the past few years, I have been able to provide music to a plethora of weddings in the Birmingham and Tuscaloosa area.
