We were less than impressed with our photographer and the photos produced. Many photos had items such as heat lamps, coat hangers, and coats in them, which could have easily been avoided if the photographer had paid attention. Other photos had... heads, legs, bodies and feet cut off in them. The photographer took our ceremony photos from the side, so one can only see either the bride or groom's face, but not both at the same time. Also, the photographer was not good at giving direction to her subjects for poses, facial expressions or good photo spots either, and she seemed rattled throughout the process. In addition, there were very few candids of our guests taken, almost none of our reception meal, and none of the overall ceremony and reception area/grounds. After reviewing 100s of photos, there was only ONE that was decent enough to use in our holiday card. On top of this, the photographer seemed anxious and nervous on the day of, and although a list of photo requests had been given to her a week prior to the wedding, she needed constant guidance and direction. This was distracting and stressful for the bride and groom to have to deal with on their wedding day. We feel that the photographer needs more experience before charging what she did or working as a wedding photographer. This became especially apparent when the groom's mother, father and aunt took significantly better photos with their inexpensive point-and-shoot digital cameras. With family photos, there was honestly no benefit in having a professional photographer given the quality of work received.
