She is incredibly talented and truly in a league of her own when it comes to perfection and quality. Her videos have a seamless, magical and natural flow, while effectively capturing all the emotions of the day. She made us the most incredible wedding video that will we cherish forever! Choosing Skyewater for our wedding photography was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. I came across Skyewater initially on the Knot and afterwards found her instagram page. I immediately was drawn to Kaitlyn's style and the way she captured colors and light and knew she had to be who photographed our wedding. Right off the bat, Kaitlyn demonstrated excellent communication and organization. She first did our engagement photos and they turned out incredible! She made my husband and I feel so comfortable from the get go and gave us a lot of helpful prompts for poses. She helped us feel at ease and made the session very enjoyable. Throughout the wedding planning process, Kaitlyn stayed in close communication and gave us helpful things to consider when building our wedding day time line/itinerary with our wedding planner. On our wedding day, her team was punctual, professional, organized, efficient, warm, and a joy to be around. Every detail of our wedding was captured perfectly - down to the smallest details. Our wedding video was everything and more we could have imagined! From my husband: "Kaitlyn and her team made the process for photos for the groomsmen to be very easy, laid back, not stressful, and just made it seem like we were hanging out and having fun. It was super relaxed. Nothing about it seemed pressured, rushed, or stressful."

We love our video!!! Kaitlyn was so easy to work with and always quick to respond. If she wasn’t able to respond quickly, she’d give us a heads up beforehand, which is much appreciated during the planning process. When we first inquired via email, she responded right away to set up a time for a quick call. We were excited by the conversation and booked the longest option right away. Kaitlyn touched base occasionally to see how the planning was going and then in the weeks leading up to the wedding to get an idea of how she could portray who we are, what we wanted out of our video, and what to expect from our wedding site. It was important for us to capture the essence of the day, include our families in the video, and we also had some particulars on coloring and lighting that we were hoping she could accomplish. Kaitlyn and crew really delivered, and we are absolutely thrilled with our video! Side note: Kaitlyn’s calm and fun demeanor is contagious and really helped ease the anxiety of being on camera. We absolutely recommend Skyewater!

My wife and I have the incredible pleasure of working with Kaitlyn, and no words can describe how lucky we were to work with someone like her! When Kaitlyn advertises she specializes in an elopement style wedding photography and videography, you need to understand that she is willing to go the distance to ensure your special day will be captured in the best way possible. No kidding, she and her coworker Rebecca flew across the country to a remote, uninhabited island with us to be a part of our special day. Both Kaitlyn and Rebecca were incredibly easy to get along with and they are the type of people you trust after meeting with them just once. They both have an incredible vision and endless creativity when it comes to capturing those special moments. Leading up to our wedding, Kaitlyn was incredibly organized and attentive to any and all questions that we had. She helped us develop a plan for when and where to take photos, and the order with whom to get photos with. This was extremely valuable because it ultimately helped us generate a schedule and rid the stress of possibly missing something that we wanted to capture. All of these things gave us a lot of confidence early on, further ensuring that we picked the right person to help capture one of the happiest days in our lives. When it came to the wedding day, both Kaitlyn and Rebecca were very professional and extremely helpful. While they have a talent for taking some amazing photos and videos, they also have the invaluable skill of keeping things on track and also knowing how to divert people to keep things on track. Most people have no clue how valuable that can be in a photographer, especially if you have family and friends who don't stop talking, like to cause drama, and/or are easily distracted. (I won’t share the details here, but Kaitlyn and Rebecca you probably recall the situations and we just want to thank you again. It did not go unnoticed!) The underwater photography shoot in the ocean was nothing but incredible! As difficult as it was battling the current, waves, and tide in full wedding attire (and for Kaitlyn with her camera gear), Kaitlyn was able to create some of the coolest photos I have ever seen! While my wife and I are somewhat used to swimming in the ocean with sharks and stingrays around us, Kaitlyn and Rebecca did not hesitate to jump in the water with us to capture that once in a lifetime moment for us…well maybe a little hesitation from Rebecca with the sharks haha. Regardless, this just goes to show that they were comfortable around us, willing to try new things, and that they truly wanted to capture something special for us. We didn’t expect them to do this or be comfortable with this, but we are sure glad they did. Again, we cannot thank Kaitlyn and Rebecca enough for everything they did. The photos were incredible and everything that we had asked for (and more). The video, my goodness, was by far our favorite piece of it all. Kaitlyn has a true talent when it comes to video editing and creating an amazing and memorable story. If you have made it this far into this review, we cannot recommend this enough, you NEED to do the videography package if you book with Kaitlyn. It may be a little more extra, but it is worth every penny! Aside from that, don’t be shy in reaching out, ask all the questions you want, and if you do end up booking with Kaitlyn be sure to constantly thank her for the life long memories she helped capture for you.

Kaitlyn was excellent from start to finish and we cannot recommend her highly enough. From the planning stage through to execution and then ultimately delivering the final product video in a timely manner, Kaitlyn met and exceeded our expectations throughout. Throw on top of all that professionalism that she is an all round kind, genuine and fun person to hang out with on your elopement day. Working with Kaitlyn has been the BEST decision we could have possibly made for our destination elopement!! Without a shadow of a doubt!! From the moment we began communicating, we immediately felt at ease knowing we were in amazing hands and such relief came over us!! She felt like our friend from the very top beginning with our first email exchange and Zoom call! Not to mention, leading up to our Wedding Day, Kaitlyn has been an incredible, vastly capable, and experienced source of information whether to bounce ideas with or answer questions. On our actual wedding day, the weather was wildly unpredictable and moved through rain, blistery winds, frigid cold and snowing! In the midst of this, we couldn't have had a more prepared team for photography and videography. And, WOW, when we got our pictures back, we were totally BLOWN AWAY!!! We didn't even realize so many of these moments had been captured and to have these pictures be just so incredibly stunning is just the greatest gift!! There is an emotion and energy behind so many of our photos that really unexpectedly got to us. Some photos had us speechless, others had us tearing up, and then others had us downright laughing! The vibrancy of the colors along with the romance of the black and white versions, it is all just so masterful and we are sooooo grateful for all Kaitlyn's work!!! Going through them, my now husband and I were repeatedly going "whoaaaaa!!!" and "ohhhhhh!!!" at each and every turn!! Through them was like experiencing our Wedding Day from the beginning all over again. We are absolutely THRILLED to have these to share with our family and friends!! And I have to add...it is something special to be on this end of Skyewater's gallery when just months ago we were looking at captures of other weddings Skyewater had done, and hoping there would be availability for us as well. What a gift.

Kaitlyn was amazing and so easy to work with! We had our engagement session in late November and hoped to use a picture from that session for our holiday cards. Kaitlyn was super understanding and edited all of our photos with plenty of time for me to order and send our holiday cards. On our wedding day, Kaitlyn and Natasha were wonderful at managing our various relatives (including littles) for formal photos ahead the the ceremony and also provided us with beautiful candids as well as magical nighttime photos. I’m addition to being excellent photographers, Kaitlyn and Natasha were life savers in terms of managing the wedding party and our guests. When the flower girls (4 under 10) started to get restless before the ceremony, Natasha entertained the girls by taking them outside for their own photo shoot. Additionally, Kaitlyn offered to whisk us away from overly chatty family members any time I gave her a “look”. Working with Kaitlyn and Natasha was easy and fun; I would absolutely hire them again!

I was on YouTube looking up elopement videos, and came across an elopement Skyewater had done. I didn’t realize this was something I could have 😭. Kaitlyn and her team were there for me every step of the way. They perfectly captured our sweet day and that was my main goal. I wanted a photographer/ videographer that could capture a feeling and they did just that. I felt so comfortable with them, like I had known them forever rather than a zoom call and some emails exchanged. They were professional, accommodating and so sweet! Where do I even begin.... From the first time I reached out to Kaitlyn for information, I felt so comfortable. She was very transparent and patient with my questions. It was easy to make the choice to hire Skyewater based on my interactions with Kaitlyn alone, but her and her team's work sealed the deal! Kaitlyn was always quick to respond to me throughout the process. I was already impressed before we even got our photos! On the day of our elopement, Kaitlyn and Rebecca arrived to our AirBnb early to set up and get acquainted with it. They listened to all of my ideas and made a point to incorporate them into photos. They were so helpful in guiding us to the best poses for photos (which we definitely needed!). In the 6 hours they were with us, we were able to take photos at 6 different locations. We never felt rushed or under pressure. In fact, working with Kaitlyn and Rebecca was like working with old friends! I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day, and we definitely picked the right team to capture it.

We were nervous about organizing an elopement-style wedding for us, our parents, and our bff/officiant. We knew we wanted to be outside on Lake Tahoe and Donner Lake, and that was it. However, Kaitlyn made it easy! She helped with ideas to shape the day, provided options for local florists, hair and makeup, boat companies for a sail on the lake, the best way to officiate our wedding, and took the stress out of organizing the day. She was very prompt and communicative, and was patient with my panicky emails. For the actual wedding day, Kaitlyn and Meg were amazing! The only major wildfire of the season occurred during our wedding and they were flexible on when we could get the best, smoke-free photos. They turned up early to scout out the best dock on the lake. Everything turned out beautifully! And they were tons of fun! They felt like part of the wedding party, without being intrusive, and just made the whole day perfect. Thank you Kaitlyn and Meg!

When my then fiancé but now wife were considering to do a small wedding with just our family we didn't know where to start. Thankfully our searching lead us directly to Kaitlyn. She spent countless hours with us planning out the details and making sure we had all the information to execute our dream wedding. From the start, she was extremely attentive and detail driven giving us the needed information of where we should look at doing our elopement, places in that area that would be good to do rentals from and generally help us nail down the flow of our day. Then, on the day of our big event, she produced exceptional photos and video of our most intimate moments. We will always cherish the moments she was able to capture and would not have wanted another photographer/videographer there. She should be the only choice you should consider for having at your wedding. Whether is an elopement of two, a small wedding with 20 people or a large one. 5 Stars!! Two Thumbs Up. Kaitlyn flew out to Napa Valley, California to video our wedding and we are beyond happy with how everything turned out. Kailyn even showed up to our location a day early to shoot the rehearsal dinner + speeches! She was very responsive when we had questions and walked us through all of the steps with ease. Kaitlyn and her team exceeded our expectations and we would recommend her and the Skyewater team to anyone looking to hire a Videographer.

My wedding video was always a high priority of mine, my expectations were very high. After seeing skyewater photo + film’s previous work I was very excited to book them. But the highlight video I received exceeded my expectations. It was beautiful and captured some of the best moments of my life. It was PERFECT. The way they edited all the small details into it, just wow. It’s something I will cherish forever. I can’t stop rewatching the video. After seeing it I had to get all the footage back too. From months before to months after the wedding, they have been quick to respond, helpful, and they are overall a fun and positive team. I definitely recommend skyewater photo + film! I couldn’t imagine another videographer capturing that day the way they did. BOOK THEM. You will not regret it.

We could not imagine a more perfect photography and videography team for our big day! It was incredibly difficult when searching for a photo/video team that shot in the exact photo and video style we were searching for, and when I came across Skyewater’s page I knew it would be an immediate match. Our venue had so much natural beauty, the greenery and mountains being captured just the way they are with a natural editing style to enhance the real beauty was exactly what we were looking for and Skyewater DELIVERED! Our day will forever be immortalized in its true beautiful colors and scenery. We couldn’t believe as we flipped through all the many many many photos given to us how stunning each and every one was, whether it was of the two of us, our family or the details of the wedding. The wedding video was so beautiful we cried just as much as we did on our wedding day, we couldn’t wait to share it with family and friends who have since reported back that they’ve shared it with strangers who have cried at the emotion and beauty that the videography team captured and brought to life in video video documentary format. I may be a little biased because it’s my wedding video, but I’ve never seen emotion captured so gracefully in a wedding video. I have watched it maybe 100 times at this point and it moves me to tears each and every time without fail. I cannot recommend Skyewater for both your videography and photography enough, if I could get married again tomorrow there would be no one else I would trust with these services that my husband and I put above all else while we planned our big day.

Kaitlyn took the stress out of the planning process from the beginning with a personal phone call to give us a great idea on what to expect and to find exactly worked for us. She provided excellent information regarding planning, location, vendors, etc and helped shape our perfect day. With planning secured, her team was extremely caring and professional. The day of was very organic and her team made the entire process feel “right”. The photos were A+ and our wedding highlight video was absolutely professional and well made beyond our expectations. We’re very thankful for Skyewater and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for top notch photography/videography!

We loved working with Kaitlyn. She captured both our small elopement (thanks COVID) and then our big wedding 1 year later. Her photo composition is great. We love the color balance, they're not washed out or over saturated but just right. She has a great lighting rig for some really cool night shots and a real sense of framing. Don't take my word for it though, check out her Instagram. All the logistical stuff was as easy as it could be. Dealing with venue changes due to COVID and fires multiple times. She helped guide spots for photos and poses. We were also impressed with how quickly she was able to get through all the photos. I would (and have) highly recommend anyone to Skyewater!

An added bonus is that they send you so many different references for everything you need for your big day. Skyewater was incredibly thorough and flexible throughout our day. The pictures and video are AMAZING. Kaitlyn had a ton of information and recommendations when we were planning. She and Rebecca were great to be around all day and really helped created our dream day.

My husband and I always knew we wanted to elope. We are a practical but adventurous couple who loves nature. All we wanted was a stress-free day full of our love with snow and mountain views. We used Skyewater for engagement pictures, wedding photo, and wedding video. We could not have made a better choice. From the beginning, Kaitlyn was so helpful and kind, helping us through the entire process. She answered all of our questions and really helped us form our timeline for the big day. We LOVE the pictures and video and truly could not be happier. Even strangers have told us they cried watching our video… that shows how powerful it was!!! We loved the team and how seamless they made the process. They got things done on the wedding day but never felt in the way. Kaitlyn also texted or emailed us updates along the way letting us know when our pictures and video would be completed. To say we were blown away is an understatement. The Skyewater team captured our vision and chronicled our day better than we could've ever imagined. They promptly responded to our business request, scheduled time for us to meet, and listened intently to our requests. Their pricing is very reasonable for the services they offered. We opted for a second photographer which worked out really well. Turnaround for our photos was super quick, and the video...oh my God...I *still* cry when I watch the video, as if I'm not the bride in it! I highly, highly recommend Skyewater!!

From our first zoom call interview to the actual day of our wedding, Kaitlyn with SkyeWater was absolutely amazing! Nothing went unnoticed. She made our decision so easy and when you’re trying to put into words what you want your wedding day to look like, she was able to take it all in and truly helped us create a day we will never ever forget. She was able ease the stress and allow us to do whatever our hearts desired - with her professional opinion of course. Let’s face it, when planning your wedding day from another state the questions pile up. Kaitlyn was available all the time and truly gave us the best experience. We were engaged and married within 6 months. My husband and I knew from the get-go we wanted into something different, something adventurous. 2 things were a MUST: a beautiful setting, and us together. Kaitlyn showed how talented she is as a photographer, we received the most stunning photos, from backdrops to portraits! All of them are gorgeous. I will never forget our wedding day, she lead us the entire way and I cannot recommend her and her team enough to anyone thinking about doing something similar to our day!

The Skyewater team and Kaitlyn were fantastic to work with for our wedding photos! Kaitlyn is personable and professional. She met with us twice before the wedding to answer questions, walk us through timeline, and so we could get to know her. Our wedding photos turned out amazing!!! Her style was a perfect balance of classic, artistic, and natural. There were no shots missed that we asked for. We took bridal party photos and portraits in downtown Denver at Civic Center Park before heading up to our venue, Brittany Hill. We also did engagement photos with her at Garden of the Gods, which were beautiful for our Save the Dates. Would absolutely recommend Kaitlyn and Skyewater Photos!

Ryan and I met each other 10 years ago, started dating during Covid, we got engaged July 5th, 2020 and had always had the plan to do an adventure elopement. We were supposed to elope in Canada, however, with Covid this was not possible anymore and we started looking into Colorado, which was the BIGGEST BLESSING EVER, because we found Kaitlyn and SkyeWater Photo! Her pictures on the site looked gorgeous and were definitely up our avenue, but our biggest reservation in this whole process of finding our perfect photographer, was finding someone that Ryan would be comfortable around. He is more shy and doesn’t photograph well when uncomfortable, but he takes great candids! We set up a FaceTime meet and great with Kaitlyn, Ryan was uncomfortable at first, but Kaitlyn’s personality and demeanor immediately clicked with us! She was so reassuring and was just as excited to start planning as we were. We knew during that call that she was the one, and we booked immediately. The planning process was so smooth! She sent us a whole list of locations and ideas after talking to us on our call, that were personally tailored to our vision. She even looked up the moon cycle for us, since Ryan is into Astronomy and wanted to see the Milky Way. She just went above and beyond from the beginning! On the day of our elopement, there was a storm rolling through. Kaitlyn updated us on the weather the night before and the day of. She was extremely flexible with us and we even changed the location last minute of our first look, which could not have turned out better. She made our day absolutely perfect. It was everything we had envisioned and much more. Drove us to locations, navigated treacherous terrain, and rolled with the punches when it came to changing weather conditions. We felt like long lost friends by the end of the day! The photos that we received were absolutely STUNNING! They 100% capture who Ryan and I are as a couple. We laughed, joked, cried, screamed in excitement, and just showed every possible emotion together and she managed to capture all of it. When we looked through the album together, it was like reliving our day all over again. We were able to show our friends and family and they were able to feel like they were there because the photos were so naturally us. The amount of compliments we have received on our elopement photos is astounding! We would recommend Kaitlyn to everyone and have already recommended her to friends and family! There is nothing that we feel could have been better! Even with it storming, we made the absolute best out of it and memories that will last a lifetime.

We loved working with Skyewater Photo and Film. Kaitlyn was super easy going and captured our day beautifully. We actually were not planning on having a videographer, but last minute decided that it was a great idea as it'll be a memento for us to cherish forever and boy were we super glad we hired Kaitlyn! We were worried that our wedding would feel like a production with a photographer and videographer, but Kaitlyn did such a great job capturing the footage, we didn't even notice she was there. Our final product was breathtaking and every time we watch it, we cry as it takes us back to our very special day. Kaitlin was amazing! She was extremely responsive and helpful in planning our elopement. As we had never been to Colorado, her detailed location notes allowed us to choose the perfect location! Each picture she took looks so perfect and are such a joy to show to family and friends. We are so happy to have such beautiful mementos from our special day.

My wife and I were married on 4th of July and had the pleasure of having one of Skyewater's photographers, Rebecca, shoot our wedding. She did an unbelievable job and we couldn't have been any happier. We're terrible at posing and can feel awkward in front of a camera but thanks to Rebecca, neither of those were an issue! She was professional, laid back, funny and helped re-do our timeline on the fly since we got behind on schedule pretty quickly! We just got some preview photos today and we're already OBSESSED with our photos. I can't recommend her and Skyewater highly enough!!

My husband and I were married February 20, 2021 and Kaitlyn and Casi went above and beyond for our wedding. We unfortunately were affected by covid while planning our wedding like so many others and had to be super flexible with our planning. Kaitlyn could not have been more understanding and sympathetic to our situation. We went from a 200 person wedding at a wedding venue to an eight person elopement at a private residence. She kept in touch the entire time and worked so hard to make sure we had the best experience possible. We adjusted from just a one person photographer to including a videographer to document our day. Kaitlyn never lost touch and made sure to follow up to any questions or concerns that were raised from the changes. Both Kaitlyn and Casi were the utmost professionals during our wedding day and made sure to get shots of everything we wanted. They had fantastic ideas for photos and video clips and were great at communicating during the day about what was going on and when and how the timeline of the day was going to work. They worked so hard to make sure the entire day went so smooth. We both were so comfortable with them and knew we were in great and capable hands! Our photos are so special and we literally can’t choose our favorite and the video is so professionally done, there have been no dry eyes watching it! We are so thrilled to be able to share it with all our friends and family who were not able to be a part of our ceremony due to the pandemic. I cannot recommend Skyewater enough!! We feel so lucky we were able to have Kaitlyn for our photographer. In addition to being immensely talented and having an amazing eye for light, she helped us feel relaxed and comfortable as we explored the many fantastic locations she had for unique elopement photos. She was great with all of her communications and worked hard both before and after our wedding whether it was scoping out locations, communicating about what was going on in the area (we are from out of state), or her super fast delivery of our sneak peeks, wedding video, and final photos. I would highly recommend her for any one who wants stunning photos taken by a talented and kind artist.

We first found Kaitlyn Holeman when we were looking for a Colorado “adventure” elopement photographer. We had narrowed down our top photographer choices to three women whose styles we loved, but Kaitlyn is the only photographer of those who also truly *creates* videos. When she said she would be our videographer, we were thrilled. Kaitlyn was fantastic to work with on our elopement day (July 2020). She spent hours traipsing through the mountains with us and was incredibly helpful as well as completely unobtrusive. Her ability to work “in the background” of our elopement, which didn’t have any guests, made her final video product a beautiful surprise. EVERYONE who watches our elopement video loves it. We cry at the same part every time, as do many of our family members and friends. Kaitlyn provided us with a full, uncut recording of our vows as well as a highlight reel of our entire elopement adventure, which perfectly captures the *spirit* of the day. If our budget had allowed, we would have commissioned an even longer video, and it would have been worth every extra penny. If you are on the fence about hiring a videographer for your wedding day, stop thinking about it and hire Kaitlyn. Her video product is gorgeous, her comportment is professional, and her delivery of the final product is on-schedule. She was a pleasure to work with, and we fully recommend her.

Kaitlyn was our first and only choice for photography for our elopement. We had a 30 minute phone call with her and several other photographers bidding on the work and we just felt that "click" with her. Everyone before and after seemed so blah and out of tune with us. We did a 4-hour package and were very pleased with the number of photos and the stupendous quality we received. We started hiking at 4am and she was there without complaint waiting for us at the trailhead. She did an excellent job of calming our nerves before the ceremony and at the start of the shoot. There where so many angles of the ceremony we thought she was 6 places at once! Kaitlyn did an amazing job of allowing us to be natural for the camera while still giving us suggestions on how to act and pose for the shots she knew we wanted. She communicated greatly with us on what we expected and desired. We never felt rushed or hurried through the entire day. The walk seemed a naturally good pace with well thought out photos to which we could stop and take at any spot we wanted without complaint. I couldn't recommend her enough. She is sweet and bubbly and puts you at ease immediately. She bid 8 weeks to get the photos done and we got a magnificent gallery in 4. Maybe we were just special :)

I highly recommend Katogenic Photography for anyone who is looking to have their intimate wedding/elopement photographed. She made the entire process so easy; from booking, changing plans due to covid, and the hectic day of. She made sure I felt confident and comfortable with everything going on. I call myself "unphotogentic" all the time & she was able to capture gorgeous photos that didnt look staged at all. Kaitlyn was phenomenal! She was so personable and the pictures and video were better than we could’ve imagined - so creative and truly captured all the emotions of our special day! As soon as I was engaged, I knew she had to our wedding photographer. She met with us a few months before the wedding and we did a small engagement shoot to practice and get more familiar with each other. Her fun little games she had us do in certain poses made us laugh and giggle, which made for such cute pictures. At our wedding, she had us laughing the whole time we were taking portrait photos because we were enjoying ourselves so much. She truly did an amazing job and the pictures are absolutely incredible. I never feel pretty and I am usually always unhappy with how I look in pictures, but her photographs captured our happiness so perfectly that I can't help but stare at them and smile. The candid pictures of people at the reception are so great, too. She captured beautiful moments that we can now look back on forever. I seriously cannot explain how amazing Kaitlyn is. My husband and I wanted two things for our elopement: to create an intimate, unique ceremony in breathtaking scenery and a professional wedding photographer to capture it. We found both of those with Kaitlyn. From the start she made the entire process stress-free and fun. We had the best time, in the best place, with the best photographer.

First off, I LOVED that Kaitlyn got back to me right away. I followed her on instagram for a little while to see her work and loved it. So once we finally really started planning our elopement, I sent her a request for information and she called me probably 5 minutes later ready to talk! I sadly couldn't talk because 1. No other photographer had been so prompt in responding so I was not even close to being prepared with any questions and 2. I was at work because again I didn't think anyone was going to get back to me so soon! We set up a call for that evening and we chatted over FaceTime and right then and there I was ready to hire her and work with her. It was comfortable talking to her so I knew working with her would be the same. Any random, late night questions I asked, she always responded! She sent me links and any info I asked for, for any location I was curious about. She made us feel like we could do whatever our heart's desired. She would help us find a way! Then when I had some anxiety about what the weather would be like the day of the wedding, she reassured me that everything would be fine! The big day comes and working with Kaitlyn wasn't even like working. It was like hanging out with a friend who just so happened to be taking our pictures! We were worried about feeling awkward posing but it was so fun and easy with her and her vision for the shots was absolutely incredible! We shared some mimosas and laughs and made it a day that I really and truly loved every second of! I have yet to stop staring at our photos since we got them! I cried looking at them because she just did such an amazing job at capturing the essence of the day and truly enhances the natural beauty in every shot. We said that the pictures wouldn't do the scenery or wedding day justice but the pictures are UNREAL! We will definitely be using Kaitlyn for other events and occasions that we will have in the future! :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Use her and you will have the greatest photos to look back on!

Kaitlyn was fabulous. We traveled from Indiana for our elopement in boulder, co. We picked Artist point for our main ceremony and then surrounding areas for the rest of our pictures. From the beginning she made this such an easy process. She asked what we were looking for and right off was giving suggestions of places. She provided vendor lists, websites if we needed permits, warning about traffic for the time frame we were there. She had done previous shoots at this location and i fell in love with it. It was a little cloudy an rain a bit day of but the pictures were amazing with the clouds and mountains in the background. Our pictures are stunning and we will treasure them for a lifetime.

Amazing! My husband and I are so glad we took the time to pick the perfect photographer for our engagement photos and our wedding day! Both sets of photos came out so beautifully! All we ever want to do is show them off to the whole world! Kaitlyn was professional and super patient with us as the timeline kept changing throughout our wedding day (what's a wedding without some mishaps) but she took the timing with grace and was able to capture everything happening! When it came to our photos, it was noticeable that Kaitlyn took her time going through all of them and making sure they came out to perfection! She gave us so many that I can't even decide which are my favorites! Also, Kaitlyn is amazing at working angles and lighting! For our engagement photos, the spot we chose was super crowded, but she made it work as if no one else was there! Kaitlyn is an amazing wedding photographer. We had an outdoor wedding ceremony which she beautifully captured. Our wedding was near Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado so we drove there after the ceremony and took some of the best photos that I have ever seen! She was not only able to get beautiful photos of the two of us but the mountains and background came through incredibly in all of her photos. Not only were the photos amazing but she made the experienced so much fun and made us feel special. The reception photos were also very well done. The dancefloor photos managed to show how much fun everyone was having and she seems to have a knack for catching everyone with the perfect smile. Thank you so much Kaitlyn! Kaitlyn was absolutely fantastic! We were her second wedding as a videographer (although she has a great deal of experience in photography) and the video is one of our favorite mementos from our wedding day. My husband was worried about hiring a videographer because he didn't want to feel like he was "on camera" throughout the day and feel uncomfortable. My favorite feedback that I got from many of our guests when we shared our video was, "we didn't even realize you had a videographer!" Kaitlyn was stealthy in getting excellent footage while never being intrusive into our day. We are so pleased with the video we received from Kaitlyn and I am so happy we made the decision to hire a videographer. It is such an easy thing to cut from the wedding budget, but the day flies by so fast and I am so happy to have the special moments caught on video.

We had the pleasure of having Kaitlyn take our engagement and wedding photos. Both my husband and I are very artistic, and in all honesty, it took us a while to try to find a photographer altogether. Kaitlyn is an absolute artist, and she was accommodating with all our wants and needs from our budgetary constraints to our visions, and more! What we loved the most about the compositions of her photos are the genuine candid moments. When my husband and I looked back at our photos, it was as if we were back at our wedding. One final thing that I think that is important (especially to LGBTQ+ couples out there), Kaitlyn is a true ally and supporter.

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kaitlyn. She truly takes into account a couples' needs/wants, while still maintaining her artistry. Here's our story... We are not Colorado residents. We chose Colorado for our elopement. Everything was stress-free... except finding a photographer and deciding where to take pictures. Since we were eloping (thus, no family/friends present) we REALLY wanted the photographs to capture and share our union. We spent weeks researching, reading reviews and reviewing photographers' portfolios. Thanks to Instagram we found Katogenic Photography! We are not artists, due to career choices, but we have the spirits of artists. What we recognized with Kaitlyn was her artist "soul" that drives her work. She is gifted. When we got back home from our trip, we booked another photographer, thinking we wanted a few additional photos with local scenery. Before that date arrived, we received our photo gallery from Kaitlyn and realized we had made a huge mistake thinking we needed any more photos than what Kaitlyn had already captured.
