They were a thrill to work with. They shipped our cakes up to Michigan for us. Everything was delicious and excellent!

We had Smith Island Baking Company ship us a variety of cakes for our cake table. They were all so delicious! The staff was very helpful and the online ordering was very easy. I will definitely order more in the future!

6 cakes...GONE All of them. I had enough cake for 120+ people and I only had 89 guests... It's a good thing someone hid the top to our cake. They probably would have ate that too. Most popular flavor that people are still talking about...
: the coconut. And it's my personal favorite.

i knew when i started wedding planning that i wanted a smith island cake. i called around and this company was the nicest and most accomodating since i live over 3 hours away and drove in for a tasting with my (now)husband and mother in law on ...
a saturday. Nicole was extremely nice and patient with us during the tasting. also my mother in law paid in payments which was nice to not have to come up with everything at once. we did a three tier and extra sheet cake and got a one year anniversary mini cake. everyone at the reception could not believe how good the cake was. we had 3 different flavors. Also, i emailed them a picture of my design and i swear it looked exactly like my picture and was a VERY beautiful cake. many guests commented on how beautful and delicious the cake was. i recommend this baker over Classic Cakes in salisbury who also does smith island cake which i have had before but they were very unfriendly and unaccomodating when trying to do a tasting which caused them to lose my business and so im glad i drove a little farther to OC to use Original Smith island co. because they were amazing!!!

Our Cake look exactly like the picture that I emailed. Then the day of the cake was moist and probably the best cake I have ever eaten. Cant wait to get some more

Gave them a picture and the cake turned out amazing! The design was just what we wanted and the flavors were all to die for. Everyone loved the cake!
