When first talking to SouthWind Events, they gave us incredibly useful advice about our progress in preparation for our wedding and while many other vendors assumed we knew what we were doing, they graciously advised us on what to prioritize. They didn’t push us when their vision didn’t align with ours, but instead led us to a practical compromise that helped us in the end. Because of the strong organization and structure of SouthWind Events, we felt no stress when it came to managing of the day. The SouthWind team always let us know that they had everything handled and let us enjoy our wedding day. If we could sum up our experience with them in a few words, it would be precise and straight forward with clear communication. While organizing a wedding, people will often say that you won’t remember most of the day. However, because of their management style, we were able to focus on the joy of the wedding and ourselves. We were able to have a moment just to ourselves to reflect on how far we’ve come. During the end of the wedding, when we were dancing and taking in what we accomplished, there was gratitude and thankfulness to the team for their work. We are forever grateful to SouthWind for making this wedding rememberable for everyone and a special day for me and partner.

SouthWind Events did such a wonderful job for us on our wedding day! Words can't even describe. Their entire team was magnificent, especially their leader Nikeva! Nikeva blew us away with her and her team's attention to detail when bringing our wedding day vision to life. From the very first consultation, we knew we were in good hands and after over 6 months of planning ourselves, we were excited to have an expert on our team. Straight up: you need a wedding planner/coordinator. Take it from me! And if you're at this realization then PLEASE consider Nikeva and her team at Southwind Events. She's who you NEED in your corner if planning a wedding. I cannot speak highly enough of the work she put in to make our day so wonderful. In the beginning, we naively thought that we could both hire all the vendors ourselves and coordinate successfully with them on wedding day. As the day drew closer, we knew handling vendors and sticking to an itinerary would be very difficult in day's excitement. Once all vendors were hired and most stylistic decisions were completed, I made the introductions and she handled everything from there. Day of, Nikeva and her team kept us on schedule, worry-free and handled all the behind-the-scenes To-Dos so we and our families could enjoy every minute. Her team worked closely with us as we got ready in the morning and through pre-ceremony pictures while Nikki was on-site at the venue running the show. Her team of Brianna and Horace vibed so well with our wedding party. I never looked at the clock once all day, which is to say I was totally in the moment from start to finish.

Choosing Nikeva and Southwind Events as my wedding planner was the best decision I ever made. Nikeva is SO knowledeable about all things weddings, vendors, etc. You name it, she knows it. She helped with me things for my wedding that I didn't even know existed, and those things made my wedding even better! For example, there is a website that gives you a custom QR code for your event where guests can upload their photos from the wedding so they can share them with you instantly and I had never heard of that!! It was so fun having those photos before my professional photos came back. She helped to make this process so easy and truly stress free. I am SO grateful to have had her as my wedding planner and would talk about her to anyone that would listen to me about her. If you need a wedding planner, Southwind Events is it!!!

SouthWind Events made my wedding planning experience easy and stress free! Absolutely the best experience ever! Me and my husband have no experience planning weddings lol and she came it and made it the easiest best experience we could have ever had. I did not have to worry about anything at all. She made sure that I got everything that I wanted and more. I had the pleasure of working with Nikevia and her team for my June 2022 weekend. Initially, I really thought that I could plan it myself and that wasn't the case at all. I was happy to have Nikevia as she kept us on track towards our wedding from a financial stance down to the little details of our wedding date. She was available as needed for planning or running ideas by. My wedding weekend went so well that even the guest noticed the planner made it happen that weekend. She event went out to grab a pair of pants for my uncle who unfortunately left his in Texas the day of the wedding. It was fun planning the wedding with Nikevia that I almost wish I was getting married again just to work with her and her team again. I knew I needed to hire someone to manage the day of the wedding but I didn’t truly understand the importance of hiring a good planner, and lucked up with an AMAZING planner. Hiring Southwind Events was the best decision we made and totally worth the investment. Nikeva’s planning process made wedding planning seamless. South Wind Events are true professionals that went above and beyond, and on very short notice (9 days!). I thought I had the planning covered by the venue but I was notified 10 days to my wedding reception that their event coordinator had left. Nikeva and her team swooped in and flawlessly executed all of my plans. She also found lots of details that I had completely overlooked and perfectly executed them as well. I don't know what I would have done without them. Imagine what they can do with more than 9 days notice! I highly recommend South Wind Events.

If there was one vendor I would say to hire out of all the vendors we hired, it would be SouthWind Events. I honestly am not sure how we could have pulled off this day so perfectly without Nikeva and her team. She made each and every moment move seamlessly starting WEEKS before the wedding day. We had to reschedule our wedding a year, and she never made us feel like she forgot about our big day. She continued to check in and created a lifelong relationship with us. If I could give Nikeva and her a team a 6th star, I would! My husband and I hired South Wind pre COVID and when we first spoke to Nikeva on the phone, we knew we had to work with her. We immediately clicked and she was able to understand our vision. After reluctantly having to postpone our wedding, Nikeva did everything she could to make the planning as seamless as possible. If you want someone hands on, efficient, and one step ahead of the game, then Nikeva is your woman!

Southwind Events was a life saver! I was attending my niece's wedding rehearsal one evening and was asked to coordinate a wedding procession. When I asked why me, a comment was made that I should know how to do it since I'm married! The following day, I contacted SwE! They contacted my niece, coordinated the whole wedding and reception with little to no time left! My niece and new nephew had a great wedding, reception, and a videographer to capture all the memories. All of which was provided by Southwind Events. I was introduced to Nikeva by a previous client of her’s. This client (a friend of mine) was in the midst of planning for her wedding and utilized Nikeva as a consultant/planner. I contacted Nikeva to inquire about planning/decorating for my daughter’s baby shower. This would be my first grandchild and I wanted everything to be perfect and …That It Was! The first thing I noticed, Nikeva is very time oriented and efficient. Every call, text and email was responded to promptly. At our consultation she appeared very professional and took note of every request in detail, even the tiniest. After searching for the "perfect" fit as a Day Of Cordinator we found Nikki!!! Since the location and many of the necessary items had been put in place prior, we needed someone to bring the pieces together and make the day seem effortless. Nikki and her staff were excellent. SouthWind Events helped make our special day one day to remember! My uncle referred me to Nikeva literally 2 days before our wedding. It was a complete mess to the point we were going crazy. She talked on the phone with me about what needed to be done and how she was going to take the weight off of our shoulders onto her’s! The next two days leading up to our wedding you guys don’t know how I was able to sleep. That must have been the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. I absolutely recommend her to any and everybody!
